Canada2021: January to December is 12 months, January to January is 13 months. So it is imperative to say that August to July is 12 months. I'm sure your letter will have exact dates and not just months as seen in the EE profile. January 30 to December 1st is 11 months by VO standards. Simply go to your calendar and count date to date. You do not want to know how many applications have been rejected because of this so called minor issue. Well, it's your application so do what gives you sweet sleep. |

PopularGingo: Thats 12 months already, it will fly. Just ensure you can show 12 salary payments from Aug to July. Mine is from July to June. August 28th to July 23rd is actually 11 months. If she is using NYSC as her primary NOC, her application could be refused. |

ednut1: where did you get these figures from biko You changed 400k to 350k and that has become where you got the figures from? ....... I'm sure he won't buy a box or pay for taxi and all that. For Medicals, it is likely he'll travel down and book an hotel so he can arrive for medicals early. It is called a budget Oga biko. |

Jayne07: Hubby has less than 2 years work experience. I have 4 years Does his about 2 years experience include NYSC? If it does not, I'm sure he'll clock 3 before you both are done with IELTS and ECA. You could also consider doing CIMA to boost your points. You both should do your Ielts and then do the necessary permutations |

millybushy: Hi guys,
I am thinking of withdrawing my application as I am so tired of waiting.
My application is 13 months post-AOR.
I applied July last year 2018 and added my spouse to my application in February of this year, 2019.
File was moved from Ottawa to Accra in July 30, 2019.
Accra VO asked for ADR for proof of marriage docs, communication with my wife and proof of salary payment from employer or pay stubs.
I submitted all, and for the proof of salary I submitted salary certificate as I was paid in cash.
Now the wait is tiring and I want to withdraw my application. I am an in-Canada applicant and my work experience is from Nigeria. So sorry you feel this way but what do you intend doing after withdrawing your application? Reapplying? If you reapply, your new application will most likely take same time frame or even longer due to the uniqueness of your profile. 1) You were paid in cash 2) You added your spouse post AOR I think you should just pray and hold fast to God. |

etyno: Pls anyone?? Plzzzzzzz Your OND + BSc is = 2 or more Certificates already. You do not need any other credential. CES, WES, or any other evaluating body will most likely evaluate both as 2 or more |

Jayne07: Good evening house, I'm just about going into this. Hubby and I just sent our credentials to WES for evaluation and we are about booking for the ielts exams. He has a masters and he's 29, I have a bsc and I'm 27, we have one child. I've worked the longest but not under my field of study so I'm the primary applicant. I want to ask if I can go ahead and quit my job, does it affect the application? Does your Hubby have up to 3 years experience? If you have 10 years and hubby has only 3 years, you will both have same points for work experience. Although you're 27 and Hubby is 29, you will have the same points for Age. The Game changer here is your Hubby's Masters degree which will earn extra 39 points compared to your Bsc. In summary, your Hubby should be the PA if he has up to 3 years work experience. |

slushy: Please I have some questions wrt NYSC for proof of work experience. Is it compulsory I add the account statement for the allawee? Secondly, I was paid in cash and my PPA is stating this on the letter. Is this enough or I need to do an LOE? Thirdly do I need to mention it at all (maybe via an LOE) that it was NYSC or I can be silent on this? Please add the Government NYSC 19800 Statement as this serves as your salary. Your PPA can state she paid you in cash in your Reference letter. It's not so important as some PPA do not even pay at all. |
