Like, if you're at the house eating snacks and what not, you want all this glowing? 😂 For what? Toothbrush, glowing. Couch, glowing. 🤣 Pack of peanuts, glowing. 🤣 Toilet paper, glowing. Stop it.

Don’t worry, we haven’t reached the stage of glowing peanuts and toilet paper yet. The idea is to enhance the beauty of the space, not turn the whole house into a nightclub. 😄✨

You need to stop mixing different light colours. All you need for a living room is warm white

Not all this night club blue mixed with daylight mixed with cool white mixed with warm white

The bare bulb above the fan also spoils any effect.

Thank you for your feedback. Lighting design is not limited to only one colour temperature. Different lighting tones can be layered intentionally to create depth, warmth, and different moods in a space.

The chandelier used here has its own lighting effect, and the final look depends on the client’s taste and the atmosphere they want to create. Interior design is about creating spaces that reflect different personalities and preferences. 😊

For crying out loud, what is disco light doing in the living room? Where did we get this sickening idea of plastering our living rooms with all the colors of the rainbow? Why are Nigerians getting increasingly unimaginative in building and interior decor?

Respectfully, this is not a disco effect. It is a statement chandelier with different warm light tones used to create a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere.

Design is subjective
some people prefer minimalism, while others enjoy adding character and personality to their spaces. The beauty of interior design is that there is room for different styles. 😊

Today’s transformation proves that creating a beautiful living room isn’t always about buying new furniture.

For this project, we kept the client’s existing chairs and focused on elevating the space with thoughtful design choices. The result? A living room that feels more elegant, modern, and inviting—without replacing everything.

This is not a matter of one-size-fits-all thing but you should be able to advise and convince your client about color combinations, space management, and esthetics.

People won’t blame your client. They will blame who did the design. It is not every job you take.

Probably you are just starting out in interior decoration biz or probably your niche is poor and unexposed people.

The client must come from an olójè family.

Thank you for your feedback. Every project is designed around the client’s preferences, budget, and functional needs. My role is to guide and advise, but the final decision always rests with the client. Not every design will appeal to everyone, and that’s perfectly fine.

That’s the living room, not the bedroom. The transformation was done in the sitting room, so nobody lost their sleeping space. 😄

It’s good to be exposed o. The owner and you need exposure to real world of interior decoration. You also need money.

Na mosquito he furnished the room for - from the blue light to the curtain to the slats he used for console.

Try and google how a room of that dimension is furnished abroad and then compare it with this one furnished like ìgbàlè (room where masquerades go into to change clothes).

No worries. Interior design isn’t one-size-fits-all. What looks like “ìgbàlè” to one person is another person’s dream space. Thankfully, clients choose what suits their style and budget.

When did Architects start dealing with the interior design of a room beyond he space planning?

Interior design goes beyond space planning. While architects often consider spatial layout, interior designers focus on how a space functions, feels, and is experienced through finishes, lighting, furniture, materials, and overall aesthetics. The two professions complement each other.

Lightings and decor affects the moods that is why people with Autism like me love lightings what brought my attention to your post was the blue Luminous light and decor. Absolutely gorgeous! If i am angry all day and come inside this your room or flat my mood would change totally to happy. If the lights had been bright red my anger would increase but I like red mixed with white, I like Burgundy in place of red, or strawberry

D True, i love the lights especially blue like this one, but you would find that lightnings are different, this one is Luminous for mainly people with Autism this is not the regular light, trust me, I know what i am on about my whole house is full with Luminous lights, if you come to my house you would think you are in lighting festival i hava all kinda Luminous lights. I like your decor it looks clean and cool, the lighting isn't too strong or bright.

Those lightings are ussually loved by people with Autism like myself, If you love bright sparkly coloured or shiny items you might want to go check with your psychologist you MAY have Autism or ADHD or both.
