BTW the suspense isn't thrilling or I would rather say no suspense at all! |

silentdon: Ignorance is a serious disease nd religion is the world's foremost manipulation tool! Because the church was unable to heal him, you say his faith is insufficient...that's mind game to stay relevant.
Seeking for medical attention nd healng in places like churches have caused more medical complications, disabilities nd death than anyone can envisage. I know of a woman who had breast cancer that was detected at a very early stage. She was told to come for surgery to remove the mass but kept rejecting the surgery and the cancer in the name of God and instead went to a prayer house for healing nd deliverance nd the sort and was declared free and disease free.
She returned back home living a normal nd "healthy" life for months .....until the sixth month when she came down ill with metastatic breast cancer (the cancer has grown underneath and spread to other body parts) which no surgery in any part of the world can cure. This woman died a preventable death and so have countless others.
Knowledge is bliss, common sense can be lifesaving, visit good hospitals for your health problems. What are you saying? When Peter was sinking, what happened? It was because he no longer believed he could walk on sea! If it were to be people of this generation, it will be said that Jesus is powerless and Peter should have used the boat to meet Jesus, when he could actually walk on water to meet Him if he had just a little faith :-/ What I'm trying to say is that once you don't believe the owner of the miracles, don't bother going to church or believe the miracles because though the person will/may be healed, it may not last! Rather the person should just go to the hospital! |

iamord: Inasmuch. As people receive healing in church.. There are also a number of people that are Sent home from prayer camps to die .. Back then I had a problem.. And I was hoping on God.. From this place to that place.. Till the situation became unbearable. In the Long run I still went for a surgery and am alive today.. At least the experience has shape the way I see things and I thank God for that. You did not believe! It's as simple as ABC I am sure when they were taking you from place to place you were just looking at them and saying within you that instead of this people to take me to hospital they're jumping from one place to another I applaud the efforts of everyone Inasmuch as we hope for perfect and permanent restoration, I hope the people in charge have put into consideration that in medicine it is always 50/50 chance, not saying/insinuating anything I hope the most extreme case and the most plausible case have been considered Let's say he is eventually flown abroad and after all diagnoses and prognosis he needs a transplant of an organ that is not readily available, I'm assuming the cost of staying in an ICU and the equipments/machines have been considered. To whom who asked the question Church or hospital?(paraphrased) I would choose church, why? Because I just need: 1. Faith, just a little faith 2. Seek out the audience of reputable/genuine man of God 3. Half/quarter of a million, since you can't go to an elder emptyhanded, talkless of God. And I'll get to the root of everything and I'll get healed or I'll be told what to do to get healed; a healing I'm sure of! But I'll need to stay true to Christ!!! ++ other benefits. Shikena!!! IMO! |

gosh did you really mean what you said up there?
where did this wealth come from?
it came from the members of the church who are from different classes. upper, middle and lower classes.
he is rich and the members are getting poorer? what has he done to help in those suffering in poverty? does he have a foundation to help the sick or mother less babies? why didn't he create a school with cheap affordable fees so it can help those who don't have strong financial backing to send their children to school? or offer scholarships? what is he giving exactly?
Creating a school that even an average member cant send their child to because of fees. buying private jets and slapping a child on live t.v and you say we should be happy?
They are not mad they are just being reasonable and thinking with their brain. You should do the same Go, ask the 'lazy' farmer whom you did not see planting mango seeds but after some time, seedlings pop up then after some years, great mango trees appear, ask him where he got the migthy tree from? ask him where he got the strong branches from? ask him where he got the colourful green leaves from? ask him where he got the delicious ripe fruits from? Will someone help me tell this female and her fellow cohorts that: 1. The world says the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer! 2. The Bible says the poor shall not cease from the land! Just because you are on the side of life where there's nothing but stony ground with thorns and thistles doesn't mean there isn't a side of life with tilled humus soil and a migthy river nearby where roses flourish(though with thorns)!!! |

babastanlolo: I will appreciate if the points listed could be backed up from the scripture. cite bible references to substantiate your assertions. Though we all know smoking or drinking is injurious to our health; show me where it is stated in the Nigerian constitution that its bad to smoke or drink alcohol. Not that I can't back it up with the Bible but I won't simply because I will not indulge myself in the ardous task of looking for scriptural references to backup my claim against someone who can't see sense(whether common or uncommon) in my post! |

They are not mad they are just being reasonable and thinking with their brain. You should do the same Let me start with that aspect of churches opening schools that their members can't attend. I just laugh when I see this on threads talking about pastors wealth because I'm soo darn amazed as to where these blasphemers got their blasphemies from!!! Because I attended the redeem school situated on the. RCCG camp ground and I can tell you its fees are not worth the quality education/teaching being rendered there. If I should equate it to some schools in lagos here, it will be the likes of Solomon grace, home science's eyes on the future and the likes of them where the fees they pay is close to quarter of a million!! The funny thing is that those students whose fathers were well of.....to say that they were up to quarter of the school's population would be extravagant and I can tell you that 95% were RCCG members. Talk of activities, everything was top notch e.g redeemers day (only if a person is broke, will this week be terrible but you can't be really broke when there are friends around, in fact you'd have been saving for the event sef!!) When you'ved finished your sec. education you are 70%-80% sure of getting admitted into RUN!!! What more could you ask for? P.S: I used RCCG because I'm a member of the church and I attended one of the schools. Did I forget to notify you that they also offer scholarships. |

Gold has been cursed since that day the Israelites used it to make that golden calf. Anything that takes God's place is cursed whether you like it or not!!! As for heaven's streets being made with gold, that is to show you how wort/useless gold is, for it to be used to make the paths/roads which people tread upon, that is to show you how useless it is in heaven!!! So when you hear the streets of heaven is made of gold, just know that its because its worthless that's why its used to make the streets, come to think of it, you don't use something that has worth to make streets !!! |

Eziachi: What is more worthwhile than knowing the earning index of your country and how your elected servant have fared managing your resources? You should be thankful to the poster, no matter your political divide. It is called accountability. An intelligent citizen should be arguing about the content of the figures and data presented instead of attacking the poster irrespective of his motives. Doing good in your immediate environment is better than checking indices of any country, why? Because good thrives under any condition! |

Its Buhari vs GEJ not OBJ(pdp) ya adua (PDP) vs GEJ (pdp)

SLIDEwaxie: power house with debt, power house but broke, power house with no meaningful infrastructure, power house without power, power house with incessant corruption..
It's funny u have to resolve to this yeye argument as a defence...the 'on-paper' matter...
It beats me how u survive with no brain.. Despite all its still a power house!!! Till another economy surpasses us. Period! And I can't remember Nigeria being the pow house of Africa during the regime of the previous civilian ex-presidents. So I think you should applaud GEJ for doing a good thing rather than blaming him for the woe you've brought upon yourself because I frankly believe if you were engaged in looking for ways to make yourself useful you won't have the time to come here and make this useless comment!!! When people are using their heads to think, you are busy using your as.s to think trying to make sure something sensible comes out not taking into consideration of the fact that when you are thinking with your as.s nothing comes out but a colourful stinking sh'it!!!!!!!! aaaahhh, I feeel gooood!!!(horrible bosses ) Tag: all useless critics that don't have something worthwhile to do. |
