This info is a good one although a bit scary. How tough will courses like information and communication engineering Bsc be? cityella: Hallo, I really agree with this, my first week was "turbulent". but the good thing is here in my uni I'm free to select whatever course I wish to, as long as I take 46ects mathematics and 24computer sci. So I hope to make maximum use of that freedom. Also most of my courses for this semester conduct oral examination.
I have a colleague who left Mitweida , he complained bitterly. This is someone who already got an MSc Mathematics from a university in the UK. So I totally relate. |

I booked for category A for another Bsc course, although i have received admission already. should i cancel & request for another date under category B? Adhheir: Another acquaintance
I did my Interview today. This is the discussion between I and my VO. I booked category A even tho I’m going for BSC but she didn’t ask. How old are you? Why Germany and not UK or US. I answered that Germany is tuition free as they are top notch in Engineering Why not Nigeria? Education system in Nigeria can not be compared to that of Germany and after haven gotten my first degree in Nigeria I want to go outside Nigeria and also for the exposure. Why Electronic Engineering. I just repeated some of the things in my motivation letter by explaining the course and how I fell in love with the course after doing it in my first semester in sch. I did a 2 months training with LG and I learned about electronics and that also increased my passion for it. Do you know someone in Germany? Yes. Who? What’s she doing there? What’s your course? What school? Are you in contact with the school? I said yes I mailed them and they responded by sending me the list of the things I need to do before enrollment in the school (in truth, I have not mailed the sch since I got admission letter) What do you know about Germany? I told her the things I know, I said things like Germany have over 300 types of bread, Germany have over 1000 types of sausages and she was like you must really like food and I laughed. Then she said go on and I said some more. After signing all documents, she gave me my receipt and said go and find your BA. I said what I want to use SL. She said just go and do what you have to. She collected 3 passports from me.
Disclaimer: booking Cat A and going for another BSC is a risk, you could be sent home or interviewed. |

Coming to Nairaland to ask for advice will get you more confused. Anyway I read Botany, there's no much opportunity in this field except you want to go in the line of academia I.e becoming a lecturer which will take up to 6years or more before you start lecturing. How old are you? if age is not catching up with you,, your impressive waec result can give you admission Even in a better school and a better course (if it wasn't a miracle centre ). if age is catching up with you, you can as well take the Botany course and apply for another jamb. |

ok. this may not be the entire truth but definitely there's an iota of truth here. and presido said none of his ministers is corrupt unless with evidence. But we all know they are the ruling party, no evidence will see the light of the day. |
