Considering how applicants to Teeside University were treated (not getting CAS after paying initial deposits + providing matured POF) last year, is it advisable to request for CAS using a matured POF which covers only the primary applicant's costs and then later use a different bank statement that covers the primary applicant with dependents' costs during the visa application?
Kindly advise if the above actions would be termed a misrepresentation.
Doesn't matter that it's printout. The important thing is send them the scratch card and Candidate number for them (Hull) to verify your WAEC Results!
Wendy93: @akanmu2022 please I was also given a conditional offer from the university of hull. I have uploaded all the necessary documents they requested except for the £2000 deposit. My problem here is that my past school (university) misplaced my original weac certificate and I uploaded the print out as a proof of English proficiency. So now I don’t know if I should contact the school for more info if I will send them a scratch card.
University of Hull (low tuition + £2k deposit) Sheffield Hallam - £1k deposit University of Essex - £1k deposit
Midex88: Gurus in the house, pls which school offer 1000/2000 pounds tuition deposit and also lower school fee... I want to apply for September intake... Pls This information is necessary for urgent decisions. Thanks
You are required to pay just deposit only most times. Then the school would issue you CAS to be used to apply for Visa (Keep in mind that most schools require that you show POF b4 CAS issuance). Please read the terms in your offer to be sure and/or ask someone going to the same school who has got an offer. Hope this helps.
No you don't need IELTS. I got an unconditional offer with just WAEC A friend is currently there. He said there are jobs. He has worked 2 jobs in 3 Months. Cost of living I don't have an idea. Hope that helps
Please when did you apply. I applied on Feb 8 and still hasn't got any response? Although they said they'd respond in 8 weeks
Cyrilcash: Greetings Nairalander, I have been admitted to Sheffield Hallen University for BSc Electrical/Electronic Engineering to resume September. I have been asked to pay tuition deposit of £1,000. Please, it's not too early to pay tuition deposit? or what step should I undergo next?
I can confirm you don't have to pay to get the unconditional. Mine came in earlier in the week and all I had to do was upload the requested docs (proof of english & reference) and have my reference complete the reference mail sent to them.
This is typically called 'English as a Medium' in Nigeria. It's a document you request from school much the same way you request for transcript. Unlike transcript that most schools send to institutions and organizations directly, I think your school can give you a copy of this.
See ENGLISH AS A MEDIUM below using UNILAG as an example
Hi @kennykale, is the interview the one you did (PreCAS interview) what you refer to or they want to interview in place of just submitting documents during visa application?
kennykale: I heard that UKVI is bringing back interviews for student visa. Just finished from a zoom meeting with a senior lecturer in DMU
Please which schools gave you admission for MSc Nursing and MSc social work? I have tried to no avail to register for those courses?
kellexxx: Hello Everyone. I have a quick question. Nursing and social works. Which profession is more lucrative in UK?..Conditional offers for Msc Nursing (pre registration) and Msc Social Work already gotten

I started this journey in August, applied to 3 schools for MA Social Work, got 2 offers in October after several interviews. At some point, I had to write IELTS and a Password test
I had 7 other offers from various schools for MBA, HRM and Project Management but I knew it had to be Social work, so I decided to wait it out...
Special thanks to @Babababy, he once sent a link as a guide for visa applications and I saved it immediately. That guide later became a life saver as I didn't get stranded or have to ask for help while applying for my visa. Thanks to this thread as well, I have gotten so much information just from being here.

On to the next; becoming the best social worker ever!
Hello @Ade999. I also have a conditional offer from University of Hull and I have submitted WAEC certificate and scratch card as requested. I haven't got any feedback from them. I wonder if we have to pay to get unconditional offer. Plus do you know if University of Hull require POF to issue CAS?
I've uploaded the WAEC scratch card and reference they asked for, for about a week now but no feedback.
Also, please did you have to upload physical copy of WAEC scratch card? I bought on Jumia and typed out the pin and serial number then uploaded to myhull portal.
Please did Birmingham City University require POF(Statement of account) before issuance of CAS?
Durbanplanner: Visa Alert CAs Received : Jan 15 Visa Application: Jan 16 Biometrics: Jan 24 VI (Priority) Decision made : Jan 27 Collection mail: Feb 3 Pick up ASAP I have to share my testimony here because I am always here for every information I need. Birmingham city university Do I need Covid test for Emirates flight ? I am fully vaccinated.
please I need to confirm something, the Advanced Fee Payment required before one gets the CAS, is it part of the overall tuition fee or a separate fee on its own. For example if the tuition fee is = £18000. Advanced Fee Payment = £3000. Does this mean that tuition balance is £15000 or the £3000 is a separate payment towards the admission
Please how did you respond to this request for evidence of work? What documents did you send and was it accepted. Thanks in advance
amnwa: @justwise and others. My sister got a mail from vaf requesting for evidence of work and study over the last 4 years. Please what and what should she send.
philip2014: I just got U. Of Hull offer for Spt.2022offer
Hi @philip2014. I also got offer from university of Hull. Please I need guidance on how to make the payment. Have you paid and is there a preCAS interview and/or do they require POF before they issue CAS. If you have paid, how long did it take U_of_Hull to receive the payment if you used Form-A?
EE(Express Entry). Madam, Stacydee you should be the primary applicant as you'll get more scores for your age.
Stacydee: Hello good morning everyone. I am stacydee. Please, I would gladly appreciate your advice on this. My husband and I would like to migrate to Canada. Hubby just turned 40 and I am 29. Which will be the most suitable for us, EE or Student Visa, not very familiar with the terms. Thank you very much. Please I am anticipating your favorable response o.
lola0999: Fellow future canadians.. I greet you all.. This platform is very informative as anyone that can read the thread carefully doesn’t need an agent..
I have a question..I read where someone raised a concern about his/her POF reducing because of the fall in naira. Someone responded and said to open domiciliary account is the solution. Since I was having similar issues I went to open a domiciliary account to lodge the funds..
Now my concern is if there is an express entry draw in the month of July and I am invited, How do I explain the lump sum in my domiciliary account seeing that it’s a new account ?
Please how did you get dollars to open a domiciliary account. I want to open a DOM account for POF but exchange rate is a bit over #500/usd, Kindly help as I'd rather not use aboki rate. Thanks
