An Intel celeron N3060 should do. 4Gb ram 500Gb. Intel Pentium will take you over 100k.

Since you are in Lagos I will suggest either of Westgate technologies at Oba Akran way, Ikeja or Spar.

Thank you, will work on your suggestion.

cutiedave:
Graphics card....get one with a dedicated memory...
At least 4gig of ram
Intel processsor, run from amd...
Intel core i5 or i7 with at least a a speed of 2.6ghz
HDD memory of at leat 500 gig...

For ur price range, make sure the above requirements are met...

Thank you, super helpful.

genius43:
A HP or Lenovo should do. Another thing what do you need it for in particular.

Studying. Is there a specific specification I should be looking out for?

Laptop gurus, kindly suggest laptop one can buy in the range of 85-90k. Am a complete noob when it comes to this. Thanks.

nurez305:
okay, so sorry for that statement, we are all xioamite and we will continue to support them.

One love

lolll, make sure you give us a mini review of your mi 9 when it lands.

nurez305:
then you don't understand then. I'm only against his/her statement saying I think the phone I use determine my social status.

Anybody using Xiaomi phone will never have that thought in mind because even the cheap Samsung phone is more valued than any expensive Xiaomi phone by most people because the brand is not known by majority.

I only buy what give me maximum satisfaction and not for attention. I hardly buy phone, so far the one I'm using doesn't have any fault. I will have been okay with my Mi 5 for another year if not that the battery is now weak and I hate an idea of exchanging battery.

The reason why I said she was wrong because she cant just conclude on what she know nothing about

My social status reference is because you said you can never become a redmi user. It sounded haughty as if the sub-brand is beneath you. You could have rephrased it better knowing fully well that majority of people here are into redmi because of the value they offer.

nurez305:
nothing is funny in that because I just said the truth. I won't change to redmi series

Nah no one is forcing you to change to redmi series , your money and all that. Your statement was laughable because it came across as if you determine your social status by the phone you use.

nurez305:
not saying it is not better to get it in nigeria than aliexpress. I was only against the picture you posted for 6/64 gig version and I stated that is a price for 128g version. Capital YES, it is better getting it in nigeria if it is available even with little charge because of the stress and wait time to get it from aliexpress doesn't worth it.

Also in my own, the mi 9t is too overpriced compare to MI 9 and MI 9 se. Maybe it is because it is their latest phone or because the demand is still very high for it. For me that phone look wild and the only thing that got me attracted is the pop up camera, other than that, it is a NO NO for me.

I am MI series fans since 2017 and I won't change to redmi user. Also xiaomi confirm MI series as their real flagship and that will not make me pay so much for k20 pro or whatever

This is laughable though.

genius43:
Very big price difference. It's cheaper than AliExpress.

Exactly, even if it were to be same price what about the time for waiting plus likely custom charges?

JennyOfOldstones:
Exactly! It's a steal considering all the features the phone has to offer.

Shows that they are really paying attention to Nigeria market re the pricing. Not long before they will flood the market with their latest products. Good news.

genius43:
The Samsung M30 has the biggest battery at 5000Mah

Yeah but you know bigger battery doesn't necessary translate to better battery life, people are really swearing by the battery performance of the A70.

JennyOfOldstones:
I just saw this

This is such a good price tbh.

genius43:
I fear na!

Here you go.

MeshachMARTINS:

Scarpon:
Chinese room is a no-
no for me from my past experience and from what I see the 730 soc is almost equals to 855 soc since am not a gamer but another device I did like is the Huawei p30

No the sd730 is not equal to sd855, maybe you were trying to say sd835.

maik99:
Guys is it okay to get a refurbished LG V20 from aliexpress? Is it true that it’s a problem-plagued phone?
Also is a refurbished g6 from d same site a better option?
Thanks...

You are better off buying it from Ebay.

acekid109:
my pocophone is going

E be like say na you buy that awuff deal

Note 9>>> Redmi k20/Mi 9T.

Now if you were considering k20 pro, that would be different.

For instance, the note 9 has the name,Ip68 and 2k resolution. Literally all bells and whistles.

The k20 pro is a winner in my books and far cheaper than the note 9. It does lack the Ip68 rating and the superb 2k resolution though, but 1080p is more than ok. If you can live with the Chinese ROM, go for it.

jboixxx:
Note 4 sold....

Yay!!!! I go drink malt ooo.

genius43:
This better be a joke.

https://m.gsmarena.com/redmi_7a_indian_variant_snapdragon_730_soc-news-37911.php

Na fake news na, Manu made a mistake when he was responding to a journalist's joke of xiaomi stockpiling sd625 for the 7a.

Mckandre:
ok thanks

Will soon give my own testimony too, item on its way.

jimikata:

Ehimzy:
Please if i buy the chinese variant of the redmi note 7 but with global rom installed... can i still get software updates... will it brick the phone?

It won't but why buy the Chinese variant when you can get the global version here in Nigeria?

genius43:
True talk.

But I just noticed that their display is HD+ Amoled

FHD+.

genius43:
The Mi 9 SE is for those who prefer a smaller form factor to performance but right now the CC9E is going to battle if not kill it's market.

The only thing the Mi 9SE have over these phones is processor, it is behind in every other aspect

Exactly. if these phones turn out to be the Mi A3 and A3 lite, them go over sell globally.

Tempered glass needed for note 5, quote me if you have please.

genius43:
Very much likely

Na wa, author of confusion. For every top mid-range phone they launch, the mi 9 SE sink further. What a mess.

genius43:
Seems no one is talking about CC9, CC9E & CC9 Meitu custom edition (This one is branded Meitu).

Snapdragon 710 and 665 powering these new babies

Read more and look at the pricing.

https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/07/02/xiaomi-mi-cc9-cc9e-cc9e-meitu-custom-edition-unveiled-specs-features-and-price/

Too many phones, na wa. These could be the rebranded mi A3 and A3 lite.

Lexusgs430:
Fibonacci2526...... Come see ur pipu o........

bobo65:
I think he was trying to explain Wat causes screen burn.

When amoled phones are left on display for very long time, the icons tend to burn on the display, that's why live demo units used for display in shops usually have screen burn cos the devices are usually left turned all on.

Anyways let's wait for picked up pictures to understand better

That is the second picture.
