Hmm, if the universe wants to do comedy this redmi 7 will develop one fault after the other in the next coming weeks. Everything negative thing ever mentioned about xiaomi will start to befall it till it becomes hard bricked.

After installing twrp on my redmi note 7, I was asked to put in password. I tried the pin I use to open the phone and it isn't accepting it. Those that have rooted their note 7, how did you get around this?

Format data, twrp doesn't support encryption.

So many sabinus

GrandMufti:

Born2smile:
Well, I have tested on

Messages (by google)
WhatsApp and
Kaizala

And the feature is not there. I will test on other apps to confirm more widely.

Meant to say stock messaging apps.

Born2smile:
So I learned something new today by chance.

Before now while using the text message app, I find it almost impossible to copy just a specific string of text in a text message. I was left with no choice but to copy the entire message, paste it in a notes app, delete the unwanted text and then copy the specific string I want.

This same problem exists in WhatsApp and other chat apps. You cannot easily copy a specific string of text from a message. You are left with no option but to copy the entire message.

Well long story short, in xiaomi messages app, you can select a specific string of text from a message. Here is how:

First double tap on the message,
Then you can select the specific string you want.

Another reason why I prefer the xiaomi messaging app to the messages app by Google.

The Chinese are taking over.

To be fair that's how it works on all messaging apps, at least on all the different devices I have used so far. Not limited to MIUI only o.

Gclems:

Nuel182:
How do one use the Mi message something
It's only text message my own z showing and I have activated it in the settings

Can only be used if the person you are sending the mi message to has also activated mi message on his/her device.

I don't know if they'll sell the pair of the Mi Airdot or single.

The description clearly stated black mi Bluetooth speaker, my guess is that the pic of the airdot is an error from them as you can see it's the same price tag with the white speaker on the left.

Where can I buy redmi note 7, the 6gb ram version

AliExpress

DarkJeddi:
Lies,

Seems you didn't grow up in the SE or you wouldn't have typed what you did..

There's NOTHING like Ibo as far as Igbos are concerned,

Whether as a People or as a Language..

It's IGBO,

IBO is an Anglicized and bastardized version of Igbo sometimes used by non Igbos and NEVER by a full-blooded Igbo Man..

This thread lollll, now we are going to fight over languages.

Gptech:
