Please I need help. I purchased item from aliexpress last month February 27 only to receive a msg on 15th that my item has been delivered to me whereas I didn't receive anything. I contacted the local post office here in calabar on 18th only to discover that the phone is with them. I was told to pay almost 6,000 for an item I bought $99 with free delivering. They told me that the fee is for custom duty, vat and others. Now the full cost of everything I spent on that still the same with jumia price. Please do you guys pay for such when receiving items from aliexpress?

Yes, custom duties. You have no choice but to pay.

People are just flooding this thread with ads, it's becoming so ridiculous.

rapthugx:
Good morning guys. Please assist me. I just got redmi note 5AI.

I was prompted to download an update of about 1.7gb, I downloaded it twice due to bad network though I never saw downloaded successfully (or something similar).

So I forgot about it. I was still getting another prompt for update which I disregarded cos I thought it was still the first one.

I just checked it this morning and noticed it was a new update of 965M I decided to look for the previous update in my phone and saw the file.

I tried updating my phone (with the 1.7gb now) it was telling me “it is not allowed to update with an unofficial ROM package”

Please where did I go wrong n what is the way forward? Thanks.

NB The file was zipped do I need to unzip it? The 1st image is the new update n when I was trying to update with the previous download. The 2nd is the zipped file.

Cc Gptech, anty fibonacci2526 and other gurus thanks.

Why not download the new update? The trick when downloading OTA update is to make sure you have a very good and stable network.

genius43:
The Indian variant had 4/64, just saw they only released only 6/128Gb for the Chinese market

Yeah but we always go with the Chinese iteration.

genius43:
I know. The Redmi Note 7 pro has only two variants 4/64Gb and 6/128Gb. Only the Redmi Note 7 that has the 3Gb ram variant.

The pro has only one variant o boss, 6/128gb.

kallmemrB:
imagine am using note 4x and it feels like heaven 3GB ram... Insulting note 5 is like telling me am dead and gone

spartacus11:

still the same... Thanks

Wow that's really strange. Have you tried clearing the cache and data of Gmail?

Bobo65, be warned

reaky:
That's why I said if he can afford note 7
He should get it

Yeah but statement of why are you still thinking about note 5 in 2019 is misleading o. That phone can still hold its own.

reaky:
Why will you be thinking about note 5Ai as of today
Abeg get yourself note 7 if you can afford it
And don't even think about it again
Those two device can't compete
The note 7 is way above note 5Ai

People wey no fit afford note 7, go buy note 5 na

loricara:
hope its original

You will return it na.

Damoxy:
No rooting needed?

Camera2api is enabled by default. So no need to root.

MeshachMARTINS:
you can buy the helio p22 soda s2 nd compare it too ..... lemme be going before Fibonacci2526 stone me

If I talk, am in trouble.

Gptech:
Of course it's worth it, but don't expect it to do miracles. The additional money is not just for camera, it's for 6gig ram, 128gig memory and a better snapdragon 675 processor.

that's y flagships are expensive tbh. You get great performance, camera and really cool hardware. Oyinbo get sense na.

ubev01:

Please how can I make my contacts on Google account to appear on my RN7.

I assume Chinese rom right?

Settings- installed app- Google contact sync- check the autostart permission- enable (modify and delete contacts, read your contacts, access accounts on device , start in background and select not no restriction under battery saver.)

Then reboot.

Tweetums:
Pls, I can't log in multiple emails on Gmail app
I'm using note 7
If I click Google it would not load

Might be network problem, tried on my phone now and I can add another address. Try much later or try using another ISP.

lilachiever:
Abeg talk

Kenny903:
ANYONE? ‍♂️

It's stated it supports QC 4.0, so if you get that charger or even QC 3.0 charger you will see difference in charging speed.
