That's the problem. The bias against Chinese rom here is just something else. Guys dey make Chinese rom look like poop.

Some newbie will think one will need to learn Chinese in order to use Chinese rom.

The only reason i don't like chinese rom is just how notification works, that swipe with two fingers to do quick reply or read a preview is not for me at all. A deal breaker.

I like the way it is implemented on the global rom but tbh the chinese rom enjoy some nifty features sha, my friend who bought the mi 8 SE keeps finding new features daily.

Please can anyone help me out. I just got this xiaomi redmi note 6. I checked the specs before buying and ensure it supports Glo 28(700) band. But on getting the device, Glo 4G didn't work on it. Please is there any other settings I need? or the phone no support Glo 4G.

Redmi note 6 pro doesn't support Glo band 28.

They get oo, what's important to xiaomi is MIUI version and not necessarily the OS upgrade. And devices as far back as those launched in 2015 are still getting miui updates.

100%, am on my 6th Xiaomi phone. Since have known them in 2016,have never gone back.

They can't be in business to lose money and I'm sure they don't get there phone parts for free before they assemble it together. The only thing is they don't buy quality phone part for there products just like others brands. No Durability and quality of products.

Xiaomi are the largest IoT platform in the world so they can afford to make small profit selling smartphones.

After few research on Google. Alot of people complain about the durability of the phone and discover xaomi don't do Research and Development. They don't take time to build phone. They just buy phone part and assemble them together and sell to the market. No durability for long time use. Updates cause problems to phone due to alot of user complain. Finally concluded there phone is not worth buying.

This is so untrue, xiaomi phones are well built. I agree they do copy other brands(who doesn't though) . Have used different Xiaomi phones and no time have I had any issues with them. As a matter of fact the person I sold my REDMI 3s to in 2016 is still using the phone till date. No single fault. They are cheap because they literally make little profit from their hardware, where they make money is from software and IoT.

Umidigi boast of the now.... I have countless of update with my umidigi a3 that sell for 27-29k. Now it have been confirmed the device will get android 9 soon.. keep an eye on umidigi s3.. its another steal.

Am not talking about security patches o,will umidigi continue to roll out updates to your device in the next 2yrs with new features? I highly doubt it. I repeat no OEM maybe only Apple that provides long software support for their devices than Xiaomi.

In as much as I love android one, am wary of Nokia's bootloader which can't be unlocked. You wanna experience the world of custom ROMs? Just buy any Redmi series devices launched in India too, those techy heads over there are so damn good.

Face it, they sell poo at a very high cost and Nigerians are beginning to wise up to their game,if you know you know.

Xiaomi of course offers the best in terms of price to performance ratio and SOFTWARE support. You are sure to get latest miui versions on your phone for at least 4yrs which no OEM can offer. Devices launched 3yrs ago have all been upgraded to MIUI 10 which is very impressive. So if I were in a market for good hardware+ software support, my first choice would always be Xiaomi.

Price of the RN7 pro keeps plummeting on Alixpress, down to $269 now. Would advise prospective buyers to still wait a bit till mid next month.

The truth is those 2 flagship are tecno finest devices. Not so cheap cuz and mostly they run snapdragon which makes it expensive.

I love the zero series

None of them ever ran on Snapdragon chipsets.
