Most pple have complains about the software ok there thread too That's is the ish with these brands, they don't care so much about security update patches and what not. Xiaomi still dey try small. |

MeshachMARTINS: when talking display. ..that should be real life experience abi(colour, vividness, brightness, sharpness , saturation)...on a normal day, its hard to differentiate between quality fhd nd standard ips Qhd sef Nah not hard sir, i gave a vivid example. The note 8 set at 1080p and the op5 at 1080p, the difference was staggering. Samoled v Optic amoled. |

Baroba: Thanks, just saw the S9 for the first time up close, the scream just pops.. Remembered the first time i held the note 8, my oneplus 5 display looked like an infinx phone beside it. The difference in the display quality was massive and to think the note 8 was set to 1080p and not QHD. |

Lexusgs430: This is what snapdragon obsession causes..... Agreeably, MTK of yesteryear's was not very good.... But this new generation MTK are really punching above their waistlines..............
Try and handle a new MTK device, you would be truly amazed........... My Redmi 6a is performing beyond my expectations tbh. I wasn't expecting anything from the phone because of the chipset but have been pleasantly surprised. For a 30kish phone, not bad at all. |

Mckandre: no need to watch a comparison video of both devices. By watching different videos of both u can actually deduce the winner, though RN7 might lack behind in taking low light videos but low light and lit shots re really nice. Nope, I need to see both side by side, same shots and all that. |

pharmtasy: Hmmm! Dilemma. I have the Mi 8 lite 6/128 which I use because of band 28 and was gotten at very cheap price but the Redmi Note 7 is better in other aspects. Bigger battery, better camera, infrared, FM radio, QC 4 and it is also built as a rock
Another thing is that RN7 definitely will have more support. Mi 8 lite is like an orphan
NB. MI 8 lite is not my primary device lollll @ Orphan. |

Born2smile: Thanks alot. I can sacrifice the dedicated SD slot requirement.
But please permit me to ask what advantages the redmi note 7 has over the mi 8 lite. The only advantage I have seen is that it seems to be stronger and more rugged, that is the glass. Whereas the mi 8 lite seems to support more network bands. Bigger battery,"trendy" design, QC 4.0, seems to have a better camera on paper. |
