PaulThor:
It's like aliexpress has canceled all shipping to Nigeria or its just a bug?

Noticed this too, very strange.

Larwin:
..

5A prime? That's freaking expensive at even 40k.

Larwin:
Have a redmi note 5A prime in a pouch, that ll be available for sale in Easter period. Reason is just to change phone and upgrade. Price will be between 45 to 50k. Pictures ll be posted when it's time.

Note 5a prime or Redmi note 5?

Protein0:
Go and sleep

I still dey road unfortunately.

Izheek:
who can guess the price of note 7 pro? make i no go budget lower than expected .

Budget 90-100k

Reddington:
True that, bro. Been a while since I bought from AE, so... But in your experience bro, do you think items will be despatched before 4th Feb especially considering the holidays?

It's very possible.

Reddington:
At this moment, shipping items isn't the problem - despatching is. The Chinese holidays is slowing down a lot of things. My item got shipped since Saturday night, and till today, it hasn't been despatched. I fear it won't get despatched until the holidays are over. I7track even stated on their website that some post offices will be closing down from 4th Feb to 7th. Na to pray..

You don't expect it to get despatched after 2 days na, normally takes 5-7days after shipment

MeshachMARTINS:
true .....battery not bad for d price......
oya when are u doing giveaway

lolol, me sef dey find person wey dey do giveaway so I fit participate.

Slazim:
Pls what stores would you recommend to avoid customs Wahala?

No store oo, na 50/50.

MeshachMARTINS:
someone will soon come nd say their nokia 3000mah is 10hrs sot naw ....btw was ur usage 7hrs nonstop? , how is d camera ,i know u will say its wack

The camera is ok for the price, the thing with people and phones is that they buy a phone of sub 70k and expect it to perform like a flagship. I always match my expectations with the PRICE of any phone am using at any given point. I had used the phone for like 10hrs before I got the SOT.

First full charge of the Redmi 6a and I was able to achieve this yesterday although i was on WiFi all through.

awesome99:
order was made like two weeks ago. I doubt that seller even replies to customers messages. I just contacted Ali support. Gbam the guy don reply and accepted the refund request

Shows they can't be bothered really, most stores will still beg you not to cancel.

HowGlorious:
On Jumia?? Sweet deals. RIP Redmi 6a

lolol, how so? Redmi 6a has the better chipset na.

mistermorex:
Which of the stores would you advice?

Not mi global store. Can buy from any other store but please note avoiding custom charges is not guaranteed with all of them.

HowGlorious:
Long processing time is likely due to impending China spring holiday 27 Jan to 13 Feb

Even without this holiday, their processing period has always been 30 days.

vower:
I hate mi global store

Avoid that store completely, they are practically useless with their long processing period. Have never bought a phone from them with their supposedly cheap rates

JaiyeOOI:

Oh thought you use a shipper, will get back to you when I have a US address.

BHANKYPSALM:
Good evening NLDs,
I'm planning to import goods worth 625kg, can I use NIPOST, if not which one can you recommend and is it possible to avoid custom fee, if I can't avoid it what will be the range of the fee?
Looking forward to everyone's advice
Thanks

Use shippers here on NL, not advisable to use NIPOST.

JaiyeOOI:
Hi

JaiyeOOI:
Happy Sunday!

And how much to land to Nigeria.

HowGlorious:
Is it possible for AliExpress sellers of phones (despatched to Nigeria in December 2018 dt are yet to surface) to claim that the phones are with Nigerian custom? What should be our response?

Don't even waste your time to start messaging the seller, open a dispute and get your money back after buyer's protection is over.

Gptech:
Wen dem decide to bring back our RGB notification light, we fit consider to upgrade .

You fit kukuma don upgrade codedly

sureteeboy:
I wonder why you guys keep quoting that Charles guy. I doubt he's ever handled a Xiaomi phone all his life (Or perhaps, a Redmi 4A). He's just surfing the web all day looking for negative reviews against Xiaomi to raise an irrelevant issue from. Seems Xiaomi keeps giving him sleepless nights.

When you argue with some people , you ruin your IQ and you become duller.

spartacus11:
No point to drag Futher, i believe d Redmi 6a will be a better example

2gb Ram 16Gb Rom for 32-33k But lack finger print Sensor

As against 1gb Ram 16gb Rom with finger print sensor (for an Android Go edition device and XOS Hummingbird) d 1gb will cope just fine

Ok. Make I borrow protein0's word, you are right

Sapiosexuall:
This is what I'm seeing. I don't understand it

Give it time, should receive your item before the end of next week.

macbeyland:
Item sent on the 17th Jan via Signpost has arrived Nigeria, the ones sent early December and even early January via same carrier haven't entered.

Na wa o, these people are so unpredictable. Well I received an item despatched on the 5th January today though.

spartacus11:
Did u get d point i was trying to make with d Letv

It is easier to compete wen u push device of more solid spec than ur competitors for same price they are selling, than to produce same spec with dem at lesser price?

Xiaomi on his own is already well subsidize by d company pushing price further downward will hardly work

Let's say a 1gb ram 16gb rom Xiaomi going for 25k, when in actual sense it is economically viable to make it 2gb Ram 16gb Rom for 33k

How many top brands on midrage are actually going down dan dat?

Lets be realistic, wen we know even SD don't come cheap

From Nokia to Huawei and others i will like to see d figures in Nigeria/india market

You also didn't get the point I was trying to make with your reference to letv/leeco. Re-read it again.

spartacus11:
How time flies when Transsion was trashed on dis street for still producing 1gb and 8gb rom phones

In 2019 Xiaomi is joining d game of d obsolete 1gb ram family

Lesson- don't be too quick to pass judgement, who would hav expected Xiaomi would be doing such dis year.

I stand to be corrected a 1Gb Ram 16gb Rom 5.5 inch LTE device can not sell lesser dan 33k in Nigeria market

When we even know dat Sd is far more expensive dan MTK.

It is not rocket science

I believe even Letv offers more spec for cheap rather than same spec range with Transsion for lesser d price

Lets see how d game goes

You do know that letv/leeco is dead and buried right? Like they aren't gonna resurrect again. You suppose they do research well, it's not rocket science that leeco phones are cheap because they simply do not care again, zero support, android 6/7 which is par for the course because they are feet under the ground already.

spartacus11:
And for ur info 6580 is a 3g Soc and not LTE

Infinix Smart for 33k is LTE enable that will make it MT6739.

Let's see how xiaomi will sell 1gb Ram 16gb Rom for lesser dan 33k price

I think you are mixing this up, Infinix smart is MTK6580 maybe you are referring to the Infinix smart 2 or whatever.

spartacus11:
And dat archaic chip is Working for his money perfectly well. SWEET

Try again. This is why Tecno and co can never step up. We get excited over mediocrity in this country.

spartacus11:
Infinix Smart is Android Go 16gb Rom 1gb Ram with finger print bought it for 33k about a monrh ago

If Redmi Go will offer same Rom size for lesser amount then they can be talking of compete

If u want to compete give dem 2gb ram Phone for the price Transsion is selling 1gb and push different designs and model into d market.

Is it the same Infinix smart with that archaic Chipset (6580) or another one that you bought for 33k

Sapiosexuall:
What happens after "package has arrived in destination country"?

Track on NIPOST to know the exact post office for pickup.
