lovelani:
Call jumia call center asap alongside your tracking info

There is literally no need for that tbh. He will be texted when the item is ready for pick up. Have this experience several times.

ikembz:
Oga..I No be scammer..u can ask ppl that have bought things from me here. so no don't rush and start publishing and tagged me scammer oga.

Why not explain your side of story?

Sprintx24:
Hmmmmm..... Na to wait for their call or text be that na

Yes they will definitely send you a text message and a mail.

Sprintx24:
Good morning guys,... So, I was just on my bed wondering and got struck by an idea that should have popped up long before now. Thank God for Google Chrome history which dates back to even 5 months, I was able to load the link to the first time I tracked my package after it was shipped on Jumia and luckily found the tracking number as well. Long stories short, my package is already in Nigeria but I discovered it was first handled at the sorting center upon arrival then passed through my pick up station and is now back at the same sorting center and will still be sent back to my pick up station. Is this normal? Attached is an image of the last tracking information....

It's normal. They are a mess with their tracking most times.

earthrealm:

Go to the PO in shomolu to pick up your item.

pstfrancis:
Guys pls I just want Ur opinion. I want to Redmi Note 8 and am lost between buying it from Naija or from AE? Which could be better especially in relative to exchange of dollars in their site at present. Is it advisable I should buy it here or I should buy it from AE?

How much is the exchange rate at present in AE?

Thanks

Exchange rate depends on the bank you are using. I would advise you buy locally except you are willing to wait for AliExpress delivery.

realest2:

I am disappointed with the delivery DHL Nigeria is rendering.
Hence, I'm dissatisfied with them.

Noted.

nduprincekc:
My new redmi note 8 no dey last for battery guys

Let's see your battery stat

Great note 9s deals available on the thread store, for those that can't wait for long delivery timeline.

abdsamad:
Hehehe. I thought 85 would be reasonable enough to avoid arguments

LMAO, put 5 naira someone will still ask you if you will accept 3 naira.

gidieberry:

dermmy:
Anyone here still receiving package shipped with China post?

Just comot your mind.

Ringalawyer:
Nairaland be giving a new perspective to what constitutes a good phone. Me I think popularity constitutes a good phone. I have been using infinix for a long time. And their phones are superb and clean too.

Noted sir.

genius43:

One mistake they make is asking the seller to drop his WhatsApp contact when it's already on the signature (maybe we should start telling them what you told me about you not seeing other people's siggy if don't have one).
Instead of asking questions on nairaland. Call the person's phone! I don't even WhatsApp, that one na waste of time.

Lol, one guy up there is still looking for escrow ... When phone don almost finish..

The "serious" ones don't even quote you, they call straight cos they know the OP might not be on NL at that moment. No time.

abdsamad:
That's how someone will not see that kind of mi 9 (for 100k) deal that passed by a few weeks ago again

deal wey no stay 30mins.

gidieberry:
I don jam a new comic hotspot, make i enjoy am while it last

SpeedRacer:
So the orders that have made it here and weren’t done with DHL and used same standard shipping how did they make it through?

Black magic ?

Oga I have an item that has been despatched to Nigeria since April 20th and yet to arrive while the one despatched to Nigeria on the 5th of may got here on the 17th. It is certainly not the seller's fault.

jboixxx:
I think we need to buy cargo aircraft to be doing deliveries for Nigerians now so that we can be able to control the pilot or the aircraft managers.

If you send an item via interstate transport, do you control the driver or the management to get your item delivered first (cuz it's an emergency) without following the due process or you wait and let it do the right thing?

We claim too much entitlement in this country. ...and the last time I checked, it was only China that had COVID-19 as at Dec., so, deliveries were not that affected but wetin my small boy sabi?!

LMAO. This thread gives me comic relief. Imagine telling the seller you need the item urgently as if say na seller go control the carrier or AliExpress. Once the seller ship, na to go rest na. He can't do jack, mail him oo,message him oooo, na to dey reassure you. I read that people are also tweeting @ Singapore post. Wetin dem wan talk?

Vinxmichael:
This is what they specify

Nothing is definitive here, could be chinese or could be global.

50/50. keep your fingers crossed.

Mrviktor:
Redmi 10x launched in China.
130k.

Expect global price to be around 160.

While 10x 4g is redmi note 9 pro

Are you sure about the bolded?

Vinxmichael:
I ordered this redmi note 4/64 at jumia for a very cheap price of 54k (jumia global)
Now am scared that they will deliver a Chinese version for me..
Please whats should I do?

Below is the link

Check out this product on Jumia https://www./xiaomi-redmi-note-8-4gb-ram-64gb-rom-48mp-rear-quad-camera-mobile-phone-56599845.html?utm_source=social&utm_medium=pdpshare

The description did not mention the LTE bands to be sure. There is nothing you can do since the phone is in transit. If it turned out to be chinese version, you can either return the phone when it lands or use it like that. Always read the description page before any purchase.

Y'all should be patient, AliExpress shipping is not for the faint hearted even when things were great. Less worries cos there is nothing y'all can do about it because it's out of your control.

Rapsowdee01:
Also please who knows also how i can get rid of my Redmi 5 plus and still make small money from it.. even if na 5k, i no mind

What's wrong with it?

Kykyblaze:
Is jumia tracking correct? From the tracking, RN9s is in Wuse, Abuja and last bus is meant to be Gwagwalada, Abuja. But tracking says Wuse - Gwagwalada - Lagos - Port Harcourt - Lagos - Gwagwalada.

My advise is ignore that tracking for now and retrack by Wednesday. They tend to mess things up sometimes.
