To be frank, I have been using amole screen for long without having any changes in my vision but now just less than six months of using lcd on redmi note 8, I'm facing blur vision.

Highly noted. Thats why I was specific to myself. This has been my personal experience. Probably, I'm the unfortunate one landing with unfortunate display.

Please note that I'm not against AMOLED. Heck, if they find a solution to the burnins, I will port. But make them release a device with IPS screen and SD865, until they time they find a solution.

No OEM will do this.

: . People who buy phones with amoled displays do not even think of the "cost of repair", they just buy for the satisfaction it gives them for media and viewing. This conception that amoled is not great because of the cost of repair dey one kain jare. Personally i won't use an LCD display as a daily driver.

Smartphones usually fall into 3 categories, high-end, midrange and low-end. I am not saying the S20 or the Plus variant don't pack flagship specs, but they're not the best in the high end Galaxy series by Samsung.

well, technically he's right. Flagship is THE BEST from an OEM, the leading phone in terms of features and quality same way a literal flag ship is a side's main or most important ship in naval warfare.

When a new set of phones are released by the OEM with better specs, the new 'best one' becomes THE flagship, and the former is relegated to terms like 'last year flagship'.

There's technically only one flagship at any time, and although many people interchange 'flagship' with 'high-end' or premium', they don't mean the exact same thing.

I don't know how I can explain to y'all that a company can have more than one flagship device at the same time. Quoting the literal meaning of flagship from the dictionary doesn't always apply to phones.

The S and note series have always been known as the flagship devices for Samsung. Can you tentatively say the s20 ultra is better than the s20,s20+ in all ways or that the mi 10 pro beats the mi 10 in all areas too? OEMs produce flagship devices tailored for different people.

Oga the s20,s20+ and s20 ultra are Samsung flagship phones of the year for now. Which one is the ultra is the "real flagship phone"? That statement is very untrue. What makes the s20 ultra the real flagship? Size,battery capacity,camera or the charging technology? In the grand scheme of things, not everyone cares for a 6.9" device, some people still love the small form factor.

I totally disagree with your definition of a flagship smartphone by an OEMs. Totally bizarre that you think an OEM would have only one "flagship" phone for the year.
