It depends on what we want to achieve with the fence. We do some fence for the aesthetic value, in such fence there is just a need to raise a wall and design the pillars, we might want to use 6" hollow blocks since security will not be an issue, it might be a heavily guarded zone.

We use 9" hollow blocks for fencing if we need to load something else on the fence, maybe we are looking to achieve a bigger column size to in achieving this. We can also use 6" solid blocks where we want rigidity.

Thanks a lot. Please I also want to know the advantages or otherwise of using angled blocks as fence pillars instead of iron rods.

Hello spyder888, what informs your choice of block type/size for fencing? From one project to the next, you keep changing from 6in solid to 9in hollow etc. Pls educate me.

Thanks for this. How did you arrive at 6400 blocks? Is it 9in, 6in, hollow or solid? What about iron rods for the pillars? Angled block?
Also how many tonnes of granite/sand make up a truck.

I understand your genuine concern. Yes there is no such threat. Actually part of the property is presently occupied with some old buildings that require replacement. so the plan is to fence it and gradually commence dismantling and replacing the old structures

Thanks a lot for the effort. The doctor we saw was a paediatrician and he felt it was underweight. The boy doesn't like much food. Can you suggest other healthy options to increase his weight. I think he is about 10.5kg presently.
