Pls I have 2 important questions. i am working my way up the thread and haven't seen answers to my question yet.

1. What is the implication of applying without my spouse. This is off course to earn more points.
2. My spouse has a brother in canada. If i do not add my spouse in my application, can i claim the 15 marks for sibling in canada from my inlaw.

please I'm a bit confused about the IMM 5832 form. Is it used only for paper route? I'm applying online and it is not part of the required documents on my application. I have under optional documents 'Application for Temporal resident Visa made outside Canada' - IMM5257. Hoping am on the right track

I wrote IELTS general training for immigration purposes. But i want to apply for TRV for study permit.
1. there is a part of the form that says "Language test written" should i say Yes or No.
2. I reside in Abuja, Can someone advice me on how to go about police character certificate
3. Must I submit my passport together with my application if am doing paper route.

@ folaroyal thank you for your advice on d family aspect. However, on the education & work experience, I was trying to say that with my undergraduate degree in philosophy + 10yrs banking experience, will the VO buy my choice of program being masters of public policy.

Seniors in the house, please I need help and guidance in writing a strong VO SOP.

In summary, I have undergraduate degree in philosophy and applying for Masters in public policy. I have over 10 yrs of banking experience, currently a head of operations. I have 3 kids, (2 american citizens, 1 a baby). Self sponsor. I intend applying alone first and then apply for my family to join me after a month.

How do I convince the VO that I am not a flight risk? How do I explain leaving my baby in Nigeria? Amongst others. Please advice
