Car Talk / Re: Driving To The Kaduna For The First Time, Any Advice?. by fineboynl(m): 3:41pm On Feb 29
Dtruthspeaker:

You are in perfect order. Driving and traveling is supposed to be sweet.and joyfull, and i so enjoy it that i dont get to 120kph for the first 4 to 6 hours as i.take in the sights and sounds especially these days that my travel by road has greatly reduced to once a year. So the longer the journey, the more happy i am,

But to drive at night, I would not like it even thougb it is thrillingly sweet ehn but life is thrillingly sweet enough so i can avoid this one.

yes the last time I travel. My eyes was on the road. You know that kind speed na. If you didn't sight a pot hole or barrier on time. Imagine the kind brake or issues that will arises from impact.

My eyes was on the road and with careless drivers and big big motor join with the bad road. Oboy.

A place like America if you are doing inter state you will be so relaxd and be firing the car. But Nigeria roads have to be careful

One week? ah its not Lagos to London. But anyway, its good to know yourself, so that you can drive safely.

For me I can drive from morning to evening even with stops of course for the 2 fuels of car and person or persons. But after day drive, night time drive is a terrble thing to do so i must reach my destination before nightime and any destination that cannot be reached in the day, is postponed to the next.
not that I can't drive morning till evening. If I want to. But I wouldn't want to put myself in stress or on that type of condition. Most Nigerian roads are not good and your mind needs to be on it. Night driving count me out although I have done it before but it was not pleasant

Ah! You have to break that journey ooo. Its very long so cool it down in a hotel and finish the next day. That is how to make travel sweet and fun and safe.
lol. Na one week journey be that oh I can't do 200k in one sitting. I get tired easily and I like to relax and have fun. I will do that journey one week or 4 3-4 days

how much was the bid and how much did you plan selling it.

Highway don't consume fuel. If you doesn't have history of overheating or shorting fluid you got no problem otherwise put Ur eyes on the dashboard every 20 mins.

Security? The north is insecure for the past years na. But the recent kidnapping are attacking computer bus.

Avoid night. Any place night meet you just sleep there.
Car Talk / Re: Which Car Is Your Next Car To Buy And Why by fineboynl(m): 2:32pm On Feb 27
1, Hyundai Sonata from 2009.
The car has a kind of solid build look especially from the front bumper. Camry and accord from their front bumper of same year look like toys and urgly plastic.

2, 2013 Toyota Corolla or 2013 honda civic. Due to fuel economy.
Car Talk / Which Car Is Your Next Car To Buy And Why by fineboynl(m): 2:20pm On Feb 27
There is this car in your mind that you plan to switch to. And if by chance you find the resources right now you will switch to that car without delay or looking back. Which car is that and what are your major reasons for the car?

Lol. All the beer parlor and hotel workers now sleep in the bar and hotel 6 days a week. Imagine a situation where ,1k - 2k transport daily on a salary of 15k

I haven't really cut anything in my life. We warned Nigeria about the Muslim Muslim tickets and tinubu in question.

There is no more middle class in Nigeria anymore. You are either rich or poor.

The worst part is that the inflation is not a one time thing. It just keep spiraling every seconds.

It's better to buy something with that money in your account than to leave the money there. And do not borrow money to anyone at this time. Because if they didn't pay back on time you have lost some value.

It's better to stock on food because that food stuff will keep appropriating

Business / Will The Dollar Come Down To 175-500 Ever Again? by fineboynl(m): 4:20pm On Feb 24
Will the dollar come down to 175-500 ever again? Although in theory it's possible but this is Nigeria where practically speaking nothing of such ever work.

Tinubu floating of the naira and removing of the subsidy with bad timing. On theory the policy is very good. But the practical aspects with the timing is so wrong.

Now he is telling Nigerians to be patient. The same thing buhari uses to waste 8 good solid years

Car Talk / How Often Do You Wash Your Car. Especially In Carwash? by fineboynl(m): 4:04pm On Feb 24
I have realized that those 2k, 5k every other day and in a month is on the very high side that can put a hole in someone account.

Wash every day or every two day 2k and
Sometimes full wash including engine 5k.

We just moved from dusty period now to rainy season. The period is less use of the air conditioner except there is rain. But the bad road and untied road means washing twice everyday.

Politics / If Not For Obidients What If Tinubu Proceeded With The Niger War? by fineboynl(m): 8:04am On Feb 23
We all remembered the vividly the reactions from obidients after tinubu announced an eminent war with Niger and there after the reactions from the norths.

The pressure were to much by obidients and northern Nigeria before tinubu backed out from that war.

What if tinubu went ahead with that war? The situation would have been more than what Nigerians are going through. No one goes to war and successed in time of bad economy and famine.

Biafra lost the Nigerian war because they were hard hit by poverty and bad economy. Look at Ukraine at the moment they are not passing their budget on foreign aid. The same tactics is what America are using to crumble the Russia economy in other to take over and dictate over the country.

What tinubu would have push Nigerians into.
Car Talk / Re: Tell Us Your Car Fault Lets Assess And Fix Them by fineboynl(m): 1:42am On Feb 22
I need help.

Code use to be p0134 but now it shows p1172.

Car run rough and idling rough.

I don't know if I should change coil and or plug.

Problem started when I went for valve adjustment. They set rubbish as car started vibration. I scan that moment and got bank 2 running rich.

I went to a guy who told me to services the nossle and i bought new 6 plugs. He swap the front injector coils to the back. But the problem became worst and throw many codes. That P0134, p1172, misifing codes of cylinder 2,4.6. e.t.c.

Until I meet one guy who asked me what really happened. I explained to him I set the valve. He said he will reset the valves. When he reset the valves everything run fine except a split rough Idling or run rough. All code cleared except p0134 that keep coming back.

But today p1172 appeared.

After fixing P0141 ( I changed the sensor and everything seems fine). After some days, P1172 came on and refused to go. My fuel is going angry

Also P2184 is still there with double cell radiator. (How it was bought from the owner)

So between p2184 and p1172 who they chop my fuel? Honda Accord DC.
Tanx!
did you fix the code p1272? I'm having rough Idling and rough driving. Code use to be p0134.

Petrol is officially 1k. Anywhere they sell less than that just know that meter has been tempered .

I bought 10k fuel at the rate of 700. My meter gauge did move as it use to do before. About half of it was cut from it.

Politics / Nigeria Petrol Is The Most Costly In The Whole World. by fineboynl(m): 7:34am On Feb 21
Nigeria petrol is the most costly in the whole world. It's just because of inflation. At when it was 198 it was the most expensive in west Africa. What we were facing it was just inflation.

When Jonathan left official exchange rate was N170. And pump price was N87.

Buhari remove the fuel subsidy completely and it was N143.

What Nigeria have been experiencing was nothing but inflation.

Then again buhari remove partial subsidy again And it was 195.

Since then the inflation has been massive and leaving more Nigeria in punary.

The APC is comparing fuel price with neighbouring countries as been the cheapest which is not true. It was only hyper inflation.

Tinubu remove subsidy and NNPC put the price at 550. Shortly the exchange rate went up again. And NNPC adjust the price to 670.

I was one of those who have been saying subsidy cannot be gone forever as far and there is hyper inflation. Today again there is a petrol price review which might enter 1400.

If we compare the exchange rate of 200# as at the last minimum wage to a dollar you will see Nigeria petrol is the most costly in the whole world.

State police will divide Nigeria along ethic lines. Yoruba police will be biased against Igbo same thing will Hausa police in their respective states. There will be injustice and many cases will be covered or hidden.

Similar things are already happening but it would be worsen. I think Nigeria should Better works towards regional autonomy and political decision for theirs future.

Travel / Re: I Finally Quit Bolt After Third Week For Unlawfully Suspending My Account by fineboynl(m): 3:12pm On Feb 20
.. taxi or cab business done cast.

Only vehicle meantianace and fuel will eat all the money not to talk of paying balance to the owner of the vehicle. Even oil self the lowest price you can get 5 litre is 20k. And something you will change oil every 2 weeks or 3 weeks and plus oil topping if engine is shorting oil. By this time last year you can get 5lire for 8k. But today everything just spoil.

The only people that can remain in this taxi business. Are people using dead smoking taxi. Nothing like maintenance again or changing of oil. You already admit the car is dead. The only thing left is to squeeze whatever life remains from it. No oil change and any other maintainance. Just be using it like that and converting anything that spoil, just to manage it like that.
