I'm writing this to let you know that MTN has updated the BB10 Lite plan subscription codes. Now, You will have to dial any of the codes below to subscribe to your favorite MTN BB10 Lite Plan. For Daily plan, dial *216*3*1# Cost N70 (Bblited) For Weekly plan, dial *216*3*2# Cost N350 (Bblitew) For Monthly plan, dial *216*3*3# Cost N1000 (Bblitem) Note You dont have to make any changes to your simple server settings. Just dail the code and start surfing the internet with your andriod device and PC. The Data plan is still working very fine on PC and Android devices, just that it has problem of frequent disconnect these days when using it on PC via Simpleserver. Solution MTN Simple server now disallow downloading large files because it often disconnect which always frustrate many people. All you need to do is download a crack IDM (Internet download Manager) and start downloading. It wont disconnect again. Questions? Is your Android phone drilling a hole in your pocket with the way it uses up data? Is your Android device using up too much data? If you forget to turn off mobile data on your device overnight, does your heart pound or do you get angry at your "silly mistake" when you suddenly realize in the morning? If your answer is "YES" to any of the questions above, then I think I have a solution for you. Lots of people have proffered this solution, however, to my amazement, few people know about it and most of those posts do not explicitly explain, step by step, in clear terms how a new or intermediate user can go about these steps. So I'd try my best to be as detailed as possible. There are two solutions to reducing data usage on an andriod device… First Solution You need to install a little widget like a "Data switch " on your device. By simply tapping it, you can turn on or turn off you data. This actually simplifies the process of traditionally turning off your data, which usually is a long process. Saves you the hassle. Right? Unfortunately, if you inadvertently leave the data on for too long, you still find your Android device voraciously guzzling your data. That's not fair, is it? Android isn't data friendly in that aspect. Sorry. There is however a hassle free method which leaves you bothering less about whether your data connection is left on overnight or even the whole day and here it is. Second Solution You need to install a firewall. Some firewalls require root access (e.g AFWall+ , DroidWall , etc), while some others don't require root access (e.g NoRoot Data Firewall , Mobiwol , NoRoot Firewall , etc). Now a quick note, if your phone is rooted, I suggest you download a firewall that requires root access, but if your phone is not rooted and you don't want it rooted, download a firewall that does not require root access. If you are unsure about the root status of your device or you don't just know what rooting means, simply download any of the firewalls that don't require root access. Follow the instructions below once you have the firewall installed. Note that the firewall typically allows you to Deny/Allow access to individual apps on your device when you're connected to the internet via Mobile Data or Wi-Fi (Note the icons). Note: IF THE INSTALLED FIREWALL REQUIRES ROOT ACCESS : Grant your firewall root access if you get a prompt. 1. Open the firewall app and select only the apps you want to grant access to the internet (thereby reducing the amount of overall data usage) 2. Ensure the firewall mode is set to "whitelist" which means, only apps you select will have access to the internet, all unchecked apps will not have access to the internet. 3. If you prefer to use "blacklist" however, it means apps you select will not be able to access the internet, while unchecked apps will be able to access the internet. You need to pay attention to this part. 4. Finally, select "apply rules" and make sure the firewall is enabled. Usually, people do every other step, but forget to enable the firewall. Why on earth will you go through all these steps and forget that? Note: If you get a notification saying your firewall can't get root access, it's either your phone isn't rooted (get it rooted/install a firewall that doesn't require root access) or the firewall is being blocked by the app handling root requests (Usually #SU binary installed while rooting your device). Check the app handling super user requests and ensure you set it to grant your firewall root access.] Note: IF THE INSTALLED FIREWALL DOES NOT REQUIRE ROOT ACCESS : 1. Open the firewall app, click the part that says you understand what you're doing and you trust the app, then enable the app to filter all traffic by clicking "enable" or "start" depending on the app. 2. Next, try to use any of your apps that normally access the internet. The firewall will keep a list of apps that try to access the internet in a "Pending access" tab for you to review. Allow those you want to grant internet access and deny others. Your choice will affect the apps' subsequent attempt to connect to the internet. If you change your mind about an app later, you can always return to grant or deny it access. 3. Now you are done, you can go to bed leaving your mobile data on. However, you must remember that leaving it on drains your battery faster Read more: http://www.wizloaded.com/2015/11/steps-to-reduce-data-usage-on-andriod.html |
My Tecno H5 has been given me issues for a week now because of a small white dot prompting me to install one app named Battery Doctor. I clicked on the white dot to cancel the installation but unfortunately, when I opened my phone menu, the app was already there which I certainly didn't install, it installed automatically and I simply uninstall it. After sometimes, the same app was however found on my phone. For days, I was battling automatic re-installation of this annoying app, which I uninstalled each time it did. I finally decided to do factory reset, formatted both the internal and external storage hoping that this would fix the problem but it didn't, the app always re-install itself after sometimes. Whenever I uninstalled it and restarted my device, "Android is upgrading" would be displayed and then sadly, the app Battery Doctor would appear. I was frustrated with this sad experience so I went online do some research and I discovered that problem is a trending topic about android phones. This affects 75% of the users now a days and it's a serious problem. This unwanted and annoying app is always shown in the recent and even cannot be removed easily even on factory reset or uninstall in the setting. I went further with research. According to Norton, this is a malware that can consume enough space and drain your battery. Also, automatically install unwanted application without your permission. I also discovered that after extracting with APK Editor, I noticed one of their code used "Session ID". It means it has access to your internet and that is why it call install unnecessary app when you are connected to the internet. Although this maybe complicated, the best way to remove this is to format your phone and flash the firmware or stock ROM. For alternative way: METHOD 1: Install Titanium Pro. Tap backup/restore. Then Tap Monkey Test and Time Service Tap freeze. That's all. Now titanium backup will freeze the malware to install unwanted application. METHOD 2: Install Link2SD, Open Link2SD and then choose system app open monkey test and freeze it open time service and freeze it also. Monkey Test malware is a very annoying one, stop it today http://www.wizloaded.com/2015/11/steps-to-remove-monkey-test-and-time.html |

The Federal Government has barred graduates of medicine from participating in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps, until after securing practising licences from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. The Registrar/Chief Executive of MDCN, Dr. Abdulmumini Ibrahim, stated this at a briefing on Monday in Abuja. The council, he said, took the measure following a series of complaints by the NYSC management that all manner of persons paraded themselves as corps medical doctors. Ibrahim said, “There has been an increasing number of persons who are impersonating medical doctors. The NYSC has inundated us with complaints. Those who have completed their one-year internship have been given certificates. They can only go to service upon presentation of their licences.” The MDCN boss, who noted that the council had earlier in 2014 deliberated on it, explained that only persons registered with the body in line with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Act could legally practise medicine or dentistry in the country. Ibrahim added, “The council has directed that the practice of admitting persons into the NYSC as doctors on the strength of receipt of payment of the application fee for full registration be discontinued. The practice has become a means for quacks to gain advantage into the scheme. “This decision was communicated to the NYSC and it was implemented with effect from the orientation camp in May that only fully registered doctors should be admitted to the scheme. Accredited internship training centres were written, informing them of this policy. “The doctors were informed to submit their duly completed and properly signed forms, at least one month to the date of opening of the orientation camp. Most did and they have received their certificates of full registration. A few have problems with their postings which have to be clarified and rectified before their names could be entered into the register.” Read more>>http://www.wizloaded.com/2015/11/fg-suspend-medical-graduates-without.html |

Google has unveiled the package of voice alerts on the Android version of its popular mapping app way back in May. At present, iOS users now have the luxury of a word of warning from the app prior to heading out as well as getting voice alerts en route, bringing them to the awareness of any accidents or possible construction as well as any solid hindrance that would probably impinge on their travel time even up to landing them in traffic that’s thoroughly congested. Google announced the voice alerts prior to last Memorial Day weekend, sporting Google Maps’ capacity to lend a big helping hand to drivers in locating the quickest route and then helping them to juicy information as an imminent warning of an impending doom however slight. “While you’re on the road, Google Maps will give you a heads up if congestion lies ahead, and how long you’ll be stuck in a jam,” said Google when it introduced the feature back in May. “You’ll also get the option to take alternate routes, including explanations for why one is recommended-whether it’s the fastest or avoids an incident.” “The new map is easier to read with a cleaner look catered to your drive,” reads the app’s description. “It’s easier to help others on the road with a faster, more visual reporting menu. Reports and alerts are color-coded so you can instantly recognize them on the map. Smart reminders to leave on time for your Calendar events based on traffic conditions and drive times.” Read more>>http://www.wizloaded.com/2015/11/google-maps-for-ios-now-provides.html |

Facebook video viewership is increasing its boundaries by big leaps and bounds. As of now, the stats are amazing as the social media giant now sees 8 billion average daily video views from 500 million users. Looking critically at this figure, that is a big leap from 4 billion video views per day just back in April. Mark Zuckerberg had made the delicious revelation on the call to investors consequent to Facebook’s blockbuster Q3 2015 earnings report. Some may maintain their reservations that this stat is not fully accurate for the fact that Facebook recognizes just 3 seconds of watching as a “view”. But then the 100% leap in just seven months is a big indication that even in face of such contrast, users have well been gluttonous in consuming videos. Yet if we take a look at the 3 seconds per view, Facebook is raking up 760 years of watch time for everyday. This will lead to the truth that there is a massive opportunity there for Facebook to attract in TV commercial dollars which are well taking a digital inclination. It also brings in an avenue here to improve on viewership to a greater length with an ongoing test where it rewards top video creators a revenue share. Facebook as well is trying its hands on a well targeted video feed where people have the opportunity to browse different channels of videos shared by friends, trending on Facebook, as well as other themes. The team are having big hopes that come a day this interface should enable users to have a relaxing Facebook video-watching sensation on smart TVs. On the other side, Facebook is making attempts to resolve a disturbing inconvenience around Freebooting, or say people making away with creators’ videos and even sharing other creators’ videos. At the moment, it is trying to raise its own in-house intellectual property tool which will give creators the ability to block or even possibly monetize copies of their videos which are being uploaded by others. If it could as well resolve IP, it will add on more attraction to lure more top video creators to the new revenue share program Facebook is hoping to bring in, which it had disclosed last month. Mark Zuckerberg had aired explanations on the earnings call that “There’s a certain class of content which is only going to come onto Facebook if there’s a good way to compensate the content owners…we’ve recently rolled out the business model for this.” More on the important side, Facebook is showing premium videos from a limited test group of top creators in its Suggested Videos reel. If those videos give users the patience to sit through more video ads, Facebook will reward percentage of that ad revenue to the creators. Video is serves as a vital nerve for the future of both Facebook’s projects and business. The company has the major aim to link users to what they care about helping them even share what they care about. Video is assuming top position as to means to share. That is in part for the fact that the clear format is really assisted by the rapid increase of mobile phones with dazzling video cameras, further widening of storage on these phones and computers, as well as faster mobile networks to aid the role of uploading and then watching these videos. Facebook enjoyed a nourishing bounce by welcoming photos back around 2005, and now it wants a more tasty dish by adding a bulky recipe of videos. And when we come down to revenue, video ads have the largest authority of high rates. They enrich such a vehement impression, that advertisers are not reluctant to pay Facebook top cash. In the situation where Facebook just jammed these videos into the feed, users could get bored about it all. But then by improving organic video viewership, Facebook reaches a goal of calmly inserting ads without pissing viewers off. And eventually, Facebook is on the winning side if it can fulfill a big target of becoming a solution to enjoying video or say a place people get caged in engrossment watching videos. That will let Facebook have the arms to battle other video-focused platforms with the target of wooing attention; this way Facebook will also increase its earning capacity to financially support its future ambitions like what could succeed video. The National Universities Commission (NUC) has developed a new Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards for training of doctors in Nigerian universities. According to the commission, medical programmes will now take a duration of 7 years. This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary of NUC, Professor Julius Okojie, during a three-day capacity development programme for staff of medical schools in Nigerian universities. He said the new benchmark minimum academic standard was competency-based and would substantially address most of the challenges faced by the institutions in the training of doctors in the country. In his words, "The curriculum review was necessitated by the fact that the frontier of knowledge in all academic disciplines had been advancing with new information generated as a result of research. Other compelling reasons included the need to update the standard and relevance of university education in the country as well as to integrate entrepreneurial studies as essential new platforms that would guarantee all graduates from Nigerian universities the knowledge of appropriate skills, competences and dispositions that would make them globally competitive and capable of contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s socio-economic development." The Bank Verification Number started in the year 2014 in Nigeria which was initiated by the Central Bank of Nigeria to centralize Nigeria’s banking data system through the collection of biometric, information of customers which include fingerprints and signature. This idea has been met with mixed feelings by bank customers. We discover that so many customers find it difficult to register due to the fact that they feel skeptical about the process “This may be because of ignorance”. Now the registration for BVN has been schedule to end on 31st of October 2015 and we notice some customers flopping into the bank to get theirs done. The question is “Why should we delay something so vital for us to do to avoid discrepancies “. Its seems so many people don’t know the important of registering for BVN. Well. So many may not be able to fathom the reason but we are WIZLOADED have compose 5 steps to make comprehend the reason why you need it. Unique Identity The BVN number is unique to every bank customers. As a result, the identity of that customer can easily be verified at any bank regardless of whether their accounts are domiciled in that bank on not. It creates a central database that can be accessed by all banks by mere entering the BVN number into their computer system. To check Fraud Credit card fraud, identity theft, issuance of dud cheques and other banking fraud can easily be checked with the use of the BVN number as it is unique to every bank customer. Interestingly, it will also make banking fraud difficult as the perpetrator can easily be traced and caught. Track Loan defaulters Some bank customers including the influential ones are fond of gallivanting from one bank to another soliciting and collecting loans. They use this trick to delay the settlement of loans at banks. With the BVN number, the indiscriminate collection of loans will be halted. Blacklisted Customers Fraud will drastically decline with the use BVN. As an added advantage, blacklisted and fraudulent customers can easily be apprehended across all the banks, thus preventing them from transacting business with banks. This system will sanitize Nigeria’s banking system. Read more http://www.wizloaded.com/2015/10/5-reasons-for-registering-for-bvn.html |
Free intra-campus shuttle have now been implemented in MOUAU by the State University Vice Chancellor, Prof Hillary Edeoga. According to the report we got, 20 new Suzuki cars and two mini buses donated by the institution’s micro finance bank is now on campus, according to the Vice Chancellor, the vehicles will be used for the purpose of conveying students within the school and from Umuahia town on daily basis free of charge provided they present their identity cards to the drivers as the fare had been paid with their school fees. He also mentioned that he was inspired to buy the vehicles due the recklessness of motorcycle operators in and out of the school and recalled an incident in which a student was serious injured in an accident while riding as a passenger in a bike He further stated that with the provision of the vehicles that there will be no more commercial motorcycle operating within the campus. In his opinion this will minimize the level of stress and difficulties experienced by students coming to school in commercial vehicles and provide a conducive environment for learning. http://www.wizloaded.com/2015/10/mouau-student-now-enjoy-free-ride-to.html |

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB has said that it has made some modifications on the 2016/2017 registration as it concerns selection of institutions by candidates. According to the Public Relations Officer of the board, Dr Fabian Benjamin, the board has made provision for “preferred choice” to give candidates ample opportunity of gaining admission. In his words, “What we did initially was that you only have one choice. Now, we have made it in such a way that if you miss the University of Lagos; University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaira, you will have an opportunity of going to another school. Before, all universities will be in first and second choice and that will not solve any problem. We have now decided to put a few of those schools we feel will have more spaces as more preferred. Institutions placed on the more preferred choice are those that are mostly not oversubscribed. This is because it will not make any sense if you place institutions like the ABU, UNILAG, OAU and UNN, when in actual sense they cannot even admit one third of the candidates that will choose them as most preferred.” We therefore advise candidates to ensure they visit accredited registration centres for registration where they will be properly guided on this new option and ask questions if the need clarification.
