Lets hope the supporters of these two men listen and not see election as a do or die affair. I remember GEJ telling us that no politician is worth dying for. I believe in the Aminu Kano ideology of politics without bitterness.

Anyway did y'all notice GMB was holding GEJ's hands, does the geriatric now need people to support him on his feet? Thank God we will retire him come Failbuhary, he can finally go and tend his 150 cattle.
I can confirm the last paragraph grin

Play politics without bitterness. The purpose of seeking office is to render service to the people and not to prove that you are a better human. Electoral contest is not warfare... My hand of fellowship to stebell, firefire, tomakint, mogidi, phockphockman, sincere9gerian, datolee, tit, biafranqueen, and other retrogressive members of TAN. We in the progressive camp see politics as a means to serve Nigeria and not a war to be won or lost. Vote Muhammadu Buhari 2015
Dear Barcanista,

[s]Yaradua's health: I want Jonathan to take over-Buhari

Anxiety lingers over Yar'Adua
Written by Leon Usigbe, Abuja
Sunday, 31 August 2008

AS anxiety lingers over President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, the man he defeated in the 2007 general elections, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), wants Vice President Goodluck Jonathan to assume full executive powers so that the nation can move forward in the absence of the ailing number one citizen.

Buhari, the candidate of the All Nigerian Peoples Party, ANPP, in the 2007 polls, made his position known on the president, who was said to be recuperating in King Fahd Hospital, Saudi Arabia, after successfully undergoing renal transplant surgery, just as many members of the National Assembly declined comments on the president's ill-health on the grounds that they were not aware of the situation.

"General Buhari is perpetually unelectable because his record as military head of state and afterwards, is a warning that many nigerians in the past have wisely heeded. His insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known.”

El-Rufai again said:

“I was 25 years old when Buhari was Head of State and now am 50+ and he still wants to be President, i don’t understand that, i don’t understand that at all and I call on young people of Nigeria to take their future into their hands and ensure in the next election, they vote for a new generation of leaders.

Nigerians, please don't be decisive with the new slogan of Change, na dem dem

Dr. Goodluck Jonathan remains the ONLY solution at the moment.

Shalom!

Well I don't know how close you are to GOD and your spiritual background, I quite appriciat all your points and the fact that you realise that the hands of GOD was upon the imagence of GEJ as the president of this country, I am not pro GEJ or GMB. I strongly believe that GOD can never make mistakes, believing the word of GOD that says all things work together for good to them that love GOD,our ways are not GODs ways,I still believe that GOD is working out something good for nigeria, surely there will be surprises, but my prayer is let the will of GOD be done, I am not even seen the two contestant as what we need for now,Nigeria need what is more than fighting corruption. In the case of insurgency the northerners are not coorporating with govt.and most of the northern commanders in the army who are sympertisers of boko haram weakened the moral of the army from the begging.

Therefore in all our shouting and critisesm let us remember the position of GOD, that power is in the hands of GOD, no president can be without GOD permitting it.

Fellow Lagosians,

We shall ensure you get returns for your taxes

We shall stop the double taxation system that favors one man

We would put to use the taxes you pay, Good infrastructural facilities in all streets of Lagos

We shall ensure you have good hinterlands roads across the entire state not only in Alausa (BUT: From Alagbado, to Badagry, to Ikorodu to where ever you live)

We need your vote to stop the day light robbery by one man who owns Alpha Beta, TVC, Intercontinental Hotel, The Nation Airline, The Nation Newspaper etc.

Please give your vote to JIMI AGBAJE

In a statement by its CEO, George Noah, LASAA, said it had equally received complaints from members of the public on the increase in political posters and had undertaken this task without any favour. “Over 100,000 political posters are illegally deployed in the state on a daily basis in the last three months in contravention of laid down guidelines.

Injustice being practice in Lagos State shall not go un-answered, posterity will judge the type of politics of bitterness in Lagos.

Lagos State Signage & Advertisement Agency (LASAA) busy removing other parties posters and leaving only that of APC.

God is watching... ako da oro, ko da bi ada gbeyin. angry

“The Lagos State Police command wishes to advise LASAA to desist from any act that will call to question its purpose. I have also held a meeting with personnel of LASAA to that effect. Various agencies of government are encouraged to be fair in all that concerns their oversight functions to ensure that no political party is shut out of the electoral process.”
