The army embezzled money to buy mostly second hand T72 M tanks. There are many T 90S tanks available for purchase in Russia. There has always been a deliberate attempt by the military to prolong the war and people's suffering with the complicity of Jonathan. These tanks and 4.5gen combat jets should have been acquired three years ago. Ordinary Kenya has hundreds of these now.

Jwonder:
The APC has been consistent in saying that the PDP
has ruled Nigeria for 16 disastrous years in which
corruption, impunity, insurgency, armed robbery
and several ills of society held sway. But a very
close look at the APC, I am seeing
* Amaechi - 8yrs speaker; 7yrs governor under
PDP,
* Atiku - 8yrs Vice president under PDP,
* Akume -8yrs governor under PDP,
* Bukola Saraki - 8yrs governor; 2yrs Senator
under PDP,
* Timipre Sylver -4yrs governor under PDP,
* Audu Ogbe - 2yrs chairman of PDP,
* Aminu Masari - 4yrs Reps speaker under PDP,
* Chris Ngige - 3yrs governor under PDP,
* Kwankwaso - 7yrs governor, 3yrs Defense
minister under PDP,
* El-Rufai - 4yrs FCT minister, 2yrs BPE chairman
under PDP,
* Oyinlola, 7 and half years governor under PDP,
* Segun Oni, 3 and half years governor under PDP,
And to cap it all they went to OBJ begging, a man
who they claimed spent 8 of the disastrous 16 yrs
as the maximum ruler of Nigeria to come and lead
them on a rescue mission.
It is now clearer that APC is a waste basket of the
PDP, where the people who created and
perpetuated the "16 Disastrous years" are now
dumped.
Please Nigerians what is the change in this APC?

Just as I said on the Fayose largesse thread, these leaders looters have created the UNEMPLOYMENT leading to mass poverty in the land.

- How many PROFESSIONAL teachers were employed annually in Lagos state since 1999?
- How many school INSPECTORS, to monitor standards in private schools handling 80% of enrolled children, have been employed in the last 16 years between Tinubu & Fashola?
- How many doctors, pharmacists, nurses, lab technicians, administrators, cleaners etc were employed annually by the Pretending Crooks since our return to democracy?
- What of engineers, maintenance technicians, accountants, store keepers, labourers etc to ensure there is TAP water all over the state.
- etc, etc.

The are questions begging for answers.

Yet the state has increased IGR over 34 times from 1999 to 2013 shocked

I have told you many times to be honest and stop spreading lies on this forum. You can not win votes by lies and falsehood, you should open a thread on what Agbaje/Koro will do for us in Lagos and not shouting Tinubu up and down. We don't want gala hawkers on our road anymore, we dont want Okada men on our main road anymore. Most highway robberies in traffics were done by these okada people then, and not to talk of different accidents they cause by over speeding.

We don't want the era of OGD, where cultist are empowered and paid to cause mayhem, we are satisfied with the mass infrastructure embarked upon by Amosun. We dont want the Alao Akala thugs again, Enough is enough. Even the Ibos are finding a way to get rid of PDP governors in there states, and you want us to hand over our states to criminals like Bode George and Ogunlewe. I will advice you to stop all this falsehood if truly you have conscience. Thank you.
I will only stop clamoring for change when Tinubu stop privatizing our common wealth.

I will only stop clamoring for change when APC become Progressive with no double mouth, propaganda and media caricature

I will only stop clamoring for change when APC stopped being hypocrite, they should first see the plank in their own eyes before attempting to remove speck in others eyes.

I will only stop clamoring for change when APC begin running an open system of governance.

I will only stop clamoring for change when APC House of Assembly men, House of Reps and Senators are made to be accountable to the electorate and not to the generalissimo BAT.

You making reference to OGD and other misrule of PDP governor in the past is no longer tenable and applicable in the new democratic settings of Nigeria, all thanks to Fashola 1st term.

My fellow Lagosians,

It is not out of place to ask for change of power from the government that have ruled you for 16 Years with Iron Fist

It is not out of place to ask for APC Lagos their Manifestoes being the ruling party

My very good paddy,

The battle line has been drawn.

Lagos shall surely be liberated, Lagos State needs:

Firefire:
Liberation from godfatherism

Liberation from stealing our money and privatizing our common wealth (Alpha Beta, TVC, The Nation Newspaper, The Nation Airline etc.)

Liberation from one man dictation who rule in Kosofe, Mushin, Agege. Ikorodu, Badagry, Epe and the entire state.

Liberation from taking debt running into billions of naira (Bonds, Loans etc) despite the huge IGR and share from Federation account with little or nothing to show for it.

Liberation from one man placing his family members in ALL available position at the detriment of other good people of Lagos.

Liberation from running a secret cult like government, where they refused to domesticate Freedom of Information (FOI) bill, for Lagosians to ask question for the said progressive government.

Liberation from a party who never sees anything wrong in their own system but continue to castigate others.

Liberation from a lying party who increase LASU fee from 25,000NGN to 300,000NGN but reduce it back to 25,000NGN because election is coming with plan to increase again after winning election.

Liberation from a lying party who provided safety gears for Okada men prior to 2011 election but turns around to ban okada after winning the election, now they have relaxed the rule because election is coming again.

Liberation from party who can tell naked lies without fear of posterity, they promised 4th Mainland Bridge, they promised Leki-Epe Airport, and many more projects, where are the projectshuh

Liberation from a party who make deafening media noises of achievement that is not comparative with the resources at their disposal.

Indeed, Lagos needs liberation and come February 2015, LAGOS SHALL BE DELIVERED.

Shalom

Politics › Don’t Leave PDP, Jonathan Begs Aggrieved Aspirants by Firefire(op): 1:14am On Dec 22, 2014
WITH a few weeks to next year’s general election, President Goodluck Jonathan has warned aspirants who failed to realise their political ambitions under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to defect to other parties, in spite of the attractions.

This is coming as the ruling party has been boosted with a N21 billion war chest to prosecute the elections and oil its bureaucratic machinery.

The president spoke at the PDP fund raising dinner attended by Vice President Namadi Sambo, which brought together captains of industry, politicians and many other prominent friends of the administration, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Saturday night.

Jonathan conceded that the party might not have been able to satisfactorily resolve issues arising from the primaries “but you must stay in the party in spite of attempts by other parties to poach you.”

He stressed the need for party members to stay together to resolve all the lapses, as he reiterated that plans were underway to reform the PDP primary election process to minimise sense of injustice in future elections.

The president also stressed the need to have strong political parties, which, he said, were needed in order to have a meaningful democracy, adding that having strong parties was more desirable than having strong personalities which could lead to dictatorship.

While assuring that the money realised at the dinner would be put to judicious use, the president similarly reassured that he would continue to promote enterprise and the unity of the country.

In his opening remarks, the chairman of the fund raising committee of the PDP and member of its Board of Trustees (BoT), Professor Jerry Gana, warned the party not to underestimate the threat posed by the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) to the chances of the PDP.

The chief launcher on the occasion, Chief Tunde Ayeni, set the ball rolling by announcing a personal donation of N1 billion and another N2 billion from his friends and associates.

Gana also announced the pledge by his friends to contribute N5 billion to the fund, just as Hajia Bola Shagaya from Kwara State, representing the oil and gas industry, donated N5 billion on the sector’s behalf.

Other notable donors included the 21 PDP governors and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), N21.05 billion; the chairman of Deep Offshore, Didi Ndimou, representing the Transport and Aviation sector, donated N1 billion, the real estate sector, represented by Oluchi Okoye, donated N4 billion while the food and agricultural sector, represented by Chief Ominife Uzoegbu, donated N500 million.

Also, the construction sector donated N310 million, the National Automotive Council donated N450 million; Cizaly Ltd donated N250 million while the representatives of the power sector, led by Tunde Ayeni, donated N500 million.

Other donors included the National Association of Stevedores’ Companies, N25 million; former governor of Ebonyi State, Sam Egwu, N1 million; Halima Jubril, N5 million; and Ajuji Best Western Hotel, N1 million; among others including YouWIN beneficiaries and students.

Speaking before the commencement of the donations, Gana stressed the need for the PDP to mount an effective campaign in view of the threat posed by the opposition,.

He observed that the coming election would be very competitive because it would largely be a two-horse race, noting, therefore, that the PDP must not be complacent but campaign to Nigerians with the visible achievements of President Jonathan’s administration.

The former Information minister noted that having ruled the country for 16 years, the PDP had found itself faced with a serious challenge.

According to Gana, Jonathan had led a revolution in the critical sectors of the nation’s economy including railway, road infrastructure, aviation, agriculture among others. saying therefore that the President was a good candidate who he added the PDP was excited about.
