gists:
Why is Seun and/or nairaland admins trying ever so hard to hide the truth when it is being dugged out?

There is this myth that Christians have been marginalized in Nigerian ruling class so I posted the list of Nigerian presidents since 1963 to show a perfect balance between christians and muslim in a recent thread. This is to lay the record straight in order to dispel the lies FFK and other agents have been trying to spread in order cause religious division among us especially in the South west. But before you know it, the thread was deleted! There is absolutely nothing in that thread that abuses or calls anybody names. I wonder why nairaland is trying so hard to hide information that is freely available on google and wikipedia?

Here is the list again for those that cares about objectivity even though it probably will be deleted again as usual:

Nnamdi Azikiwe => Christian => 1963
Major-General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi => Christian => 1966
General Yakubu Gowon => Christian => 1966
General Murtala Mohammed => Muslim => 1975
Major-General Olusegun Obasanjo => Christian => 1976
Shehu Shagari => Muslim => 1979
Major-General Muhammadu Buhari => Muslim => 1983
General Ibrahim Babangida => Muslim => 1985
Ernest Shonekan => Christian => 1993
General Sani Abacha => Muslim => 1993
General Abdulsalami Abubakar => Muslim => 1993
Olusegun Obasanjo => Christian => 1999
Umaru Musa Yar'Adua => Muslim => 2007
Goodluck Jonathan => Christian => 2010-date

Out of 14, we have 7 Christians and 7 Muslims

In South west, it is said that between 1979 - 1983 all the SW states (Ogun, Oyo, Ondo) were ruled by Christian-Christian tickets. Until the advent of Amosun, Ogun state had never had a muslim governor! Just 4 years ago, before Aregbesola, Osun was a under a Christian-Christian ticket (Oyinlola and Obada).

Between 1999 to date, South west has had more christain governors than muslims (Under AD/ACN and PDP)

PDP has produced more Christain governors in SW than other parties. Does that mean PDP is a Christian party?

All this religious antics are crap if you ask me. What is most important is the credibilty and the performance of the one in charge. Little wonder most south westerners doesn't even realise the fact above that there have been more christian governors.

FFk maliciously said APC governors are made up of 80 % muslims in order to manipulate the poplulace toward voting PDP against the facts above. What he maliciously lfet out is the fact that in South-East and South South governors have been 100% christians (and almost certainly, their deputies too!)

So Where is the Ismalization of Nigerian? In fact, should the majority of the Northan muslim population vote against PDP since PDP is the one playing the religion politics?

Thank you for the compliment Mr. Collynzo82.

However, don't you think the truth must be told?

APC propaganda is alarming and should not be left unattended.

I hold the generation ahead a responsibility to state the matter clearly without falsification.

APC is evil, and more evil than PDP; avoid them.

Shalom!

APC followers have nothing to say or object to in a matter of them parading the grandpas as progressive.

Any hope for the younger generation in their progressive dreamhuh

All young supporters of APC on this forum should know that, there is no HOPE for them in that party until all the men answers the call of Allah in death when the time comes… maybe in another 2 - 4 decades. sad

“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.”

My dear sister... what would you have done differently if you assume the position of the Lucky one and 98% of the people from the other side are bent on frustrating your efforts?

Arrest them & send them to jail? - You will be seen as undemocratic with full hatred for the opposition.

However, we would expect you to follow the law and work within the province of the rule of law... reason most of those criminals are still walking freely today.

But I know one thing, Nigeria shall be delivered.

No amount of propaganda by APC and her team of fighters both on the field, online and offline can intimidate Nigeria sovereignty under the leadership of the Lucky one.

Remove PDP/Jonathan from Abuja and Nigeria's problems are 60% solved.

Now I see the logic behind egift post above...

Those behind Boko Haram, and asking for amnesty are indeed members or individual with affiliation to APC, remove Jonathan and we shall stop bombing and killing.

God will you continue to be silent?

A young mosquito went out flying for the first time in his life.

When it came back the father asked, "How was it out there and how did you feel?

The young mosquito replied,

"It was great Daddy, everyone was clapping for me".

The father replied

"No one was clapping hands for you".

Everyone wantes to kill you.

The more they clapped, the more chances you were going to die.

LESSON: In life, not all the people who celebrate you are well wishers. So, be WISE!
