I met this girls on a Social media. She agreed to visit me on saturday.

I went to pick him at the nearest bus stop. On our way to my house, there is this junction where some miscreants (agberos) usually stage.
When we attempted to pass, one of them started charging at the lady, even to the extent of touching her.

I was so embarrassed and "Teared eye + Para" for the agbero. That is when the guy charged at me, and real kick-boxing started.

It was not funny, it was me versus 4 of them. At the end sha, people came to my aid. We settled the kasala.

By the time I gathered myself up to start going home, my lady had disappeared.

I looked everywhere and no traces of her.

She has not been picking my calls up till now.

And mind you, my lips are swollen like "pomo" and the size of my eye ball has doubled.

druid06: Nice points even though most of your reasons seems to be of the medieval period. There's actually nothing wrong in trying to test a man's worth before saying I do. It's actually your right. Asking a man to financially provide for you during the courting stage is like a man asking for a surgical operation of your womb to see if its healthy enough to bear his children. It's demeaning enough not towards the man but the woman in particular.

Any lady that asks a man for outrageous financial assistance is asking for trouble an shouldn't run crying blue murder when it backfires. To know if a man is comfortable enough to provide for you and your children is simple common sense. If a man has a good and well paying job. I think he's secure enough to take care of you and your family come future but asking him to take up financial burden from you during the courting stage by paying your rent and bills is absolutely ridiculous. You need to see this from another point of view to know how you sound.
