Semedo was stronger, faster, had more pace, can dribble and was even a threat to defenders. Semedo was more aggressive with opponents than Roberto.

Semedo was only better than Roberto, defensively. Offensively, he was no where near, although his last season saw him putting in more work than usual.

Roberto, on his part has always been a utility player but is the biggest threat as a fullback for us, especially in big moments. He could pass, had good positioning and not scared to shoot, if required, and those are what he edged Semedo over. Trincao back to Portugal, on Loan.

FC Barcelona and Sporting Clube de Portugal have reached an agreement on the loan of Francisco Trincão until 30 June 2023. The deal includes the option to purchase the player when the loan period expires.

ONE SEASON IN BLAUGRANA

Trincao joined Barça from SC Braga in the summer of 2020. After making his debut against Ferencvaros in the Champions League, he went on to appear in 42 games in his first year, scoring three goals and giving two assists in the Copa del Rey winning season.

The winger spent last season on loan to Wolves in the Premier League.

Raphina is officially a Barcelona player.

FC Barcelona and Leeds United Football Club have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Raphael Dias Belloli, Raphinha, pending the player passing his medical.

RAPHINHA, A WINGER WHO CAN WIN MATCHES

Born on 14 December 1996 Raphael Dias Belloli, better known as 'Raphina', is a winger who is excellent in one on ones, taking on defenders being a key part of his game. His first club in Europe was Portuguese side Vitòria Guimaraes from where he moved on to Sporting Clube de Portugal for 6.5 million euros.

After making his mark in Portugal, French club Rennes paid 21 million euros for the winger. A successful spell in Ligue 1 attracted the attention of Leeds United coach Marcelo Bielsa and Raphina made his move to the Premier League. In his first season under the Argentine coach Raphina made 30 appearances, scoring six goals and providing nine assists.
