Politics › Re: What Would Have Happened Had It Been Obi Who Challenged Tinubu's Certificate? by FirstCounsel(m): 10:09am On Oct 05, 2023 |
gidgiddy: Despite the fact that it was Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party that challenged the CSU certificate of Tinubu in America, Tinubu's supporters have reduced the whole thing to a Peter Obi affair
Atiku is rarely mentioned, his tribe is rarely mentioned, his section of the country never mentioned. Not so with Peter Obi
In a country where some people claim to be sophisticated, something as routine as checking the veracity of a person's academic credentials has become an issue and a national scandal. People who should be concerned about the credibility and integrity of their President are busy playing tribal politics
I can only imagine what would have happened had it been Peter Obi who had gone to the US to challenge Tinubu's CSU certificate Spot on brother |

Politics › Re: Ten Reasons Why Nigeria Will Never Ever Work by FirstCounsel(m): 11:24am On Sep 07, 2023 |
Germannig: Copied: Ten reasons why Nigeria will never ever work (yes, you heard me, I mean never ever). 1. The average citizens are only slightly different than their leaders. What Tinubu did with the judiciary yesterday, the average Nigerian would do at his own level. For most, it's a matter of the right opportunity to unleash their own interests. That's why many are happy or indifferent with the verdict. 2. Nigerians are the most tribalistic people on earth. In this case of Tinubu vs Atiku vs Obi, the Yoruba have championed tribalism and taken it to the rooftop. In other cases it is others, such as with the Fulani and Buhari in the last 8 years. Tribalism precludes rational thinking 3. Nigerians are religious fanatics. This is absolutely worse with the Muslims than with others. Religious fanaticism precludes rational thinking. No Need for further discussion on this. 4. The average Nigerian is mentally convoluted. They reason with their stomach, rather than with their brain. This is why politicians manipulate their greed, which surprisingly runs so shallow they could be manipulated with a mere $1 (N1000) bribery. It's called stomach infrastructure 5. The average Nigerian is impoverished. This is a deliberate state-sponsored ploy by leaders to perpetuate point 4 above. 6. The average Nigerian is grossly uneducated in the civic matters that anchor or foundation nation building 7. Nigerians, both rich and poor, are me-first driven. There is no collective with them. Societies that work must be collective. 8. Nigerians are very fleeting, ephemeral, and complacent. A combination of these 3 qualities means weak foundations. Any surprises nothing works in Nigeria? 9. Nigerians lack political ideologies. That's why politicians run from one party to another. 10. One of the worst of all, because this speaks for the quality of individual humans, a lot of Nigerians lack the mental capacity to discern issues. That's why they are easily the most brainwashed people on earth. They are brainwashed with just about anything: religion, tribe, culture, politics, tokenism, peer factor, fake speech, social media, etc
Bonus point: 11. The Nigerian constitution is warped. That's why the judiciary comes up with different verdicts for similar cases. This creates the notion that Nigeria is a lawless country where some are above the law. . Spot on bro. One cold bottle of whatever your brand is, on me! |

olril17: You can’t process divorce now cos you can only start a divorce proceeding for a marriage contracted in the registry only after two years. That is,to start a divorce process, the marriage must have been more than two years from the day it was contracted. That’s the position of the law. . There's a way around that two years mandatory requirement. |

EmeeNaka: APC are bunch of total islamists, who hate western education but want to use certificate from the Education for electoral purposes. They hate Western Education but want to use the products of Western Education. From Buhari to Tinubu to Ministers, they're danger to Nigeria development. They love dirty environments, they cohabit with poverty and retrogression, that's why they are not in the position to save Nigeria. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: General Meeting For Those Who Borrowed Money From Loan Shark Apps... by FirstCounsel(m): 2:58pm On Aug 18, 2023 |
johnog4sure: Over a year ago me and my team created an "loan insurance app", which helps to prevent online lenders from embarassment, how it works is that before taking a loan from loan apps, you will get our insurance cover, if you can't pay, we will pay for you, so no need for any loan apps to be embarassing you, we couldn't raise initial investment, and the loan apps were not cooperating we could only talk to some rude staff we could not reach their executives. But I still have the source code and my team are on ground, if we can get 1000 each from everybody we will cover the CBN deposit and use the rest for advert, as for the technology we have it already. I will appreciate if the mods can excalate this to the front page. I am a licensed Business Developer and a software developer as well, its only capital that is showing us shege!
While we were running the first add we had many people who were interested but many of them were already servicing loans, so we had to introduce "loan consolidation" to the service...there is huge market but significant investment is required. Interesting concept. Would like to discuss this more with you. What's your email address please |
