Fiverr is a company that provides a platform for freelancers to offer services to customers worldwide.

Fiverr works by letting buyers pay in advance for “gigs” which are any type of freelance service, ranging from web design, to social media marketing, to copy writing and so on. You can use the site as a freelancer who sells his service or as a buyer or both.

In this post, I will be sharing with you 5 easy ways you can make money on Fiverr as a freelancer without being skilled and using free tools you can find online.

You can do this as a side hustle or as a full time business.



1. Providing Branding Or Domain Names
You can start a gig saying, “I will give you 5 or 10 name suggestions for your business or brand.”

You then to to a website called businessnamegenerator.com and put in keywords representing what their brand is about. This means you must ask them what their business or brand is about so you know ahead of time.

Once you put the words representing your client’s business into the generator, it will provide you with so many options to choose from and send to your client.

For example if your client’s business is about creating and selling digital products, you could put in word like “ create digital products”. Then select 5 to 10 catchy names from the list provided by the name generator for your customer.


2. Background Removal Service
This service involves removing the background from the photos provided by your customers.

You can put up a gig on Fiverr saying “I will remove background from images”.

You can render this service easily and quickly without needing photoshop or any other expensive tool and get paid between $5 and $20 or thereabout.

Simply go to a website called remove.bg and upload your image. This free tool will remove the background and you can download it and send to your customer. Just make sure the images you get from your customers have clean background because photos with a lot of stuff in the background are hard to remove.

3. Transcribing Service
This is a service where people give you audios or videos to transcribe into text.

You can easily complete tasks like this for customers by using Google documents.

You need to have a Google account to use Google documents and you can get one for free by opening a gmail account.

Once you get your gmail account go to Google documents and click on the + sign which means starting with a blank document. Then click on “tools” on the top menu and then click on “voice typing” on the drop down menu.

Open up the audio or video file and this tool will type it out for you.

Edit and clean up the text and send it back to your client.

This is quick and easy to do and you get paid. Isn’t this cool?

4. Social Media Ads Design
There are many business people looking for help with creating social media ads for their businesses because they either don’t know how to do it themselves or do not have the time to get it done.

You can use a free tool called Canva.com to create beautiful social media ads for your customers using simple drag and drop templates already set up for you.

You can create choose from Instagram post or Facebook post.

You simple edit any of the designs you like and put in your own words and images. You can even upload and use your own images if you don’t want to use any of the free images on the platform.

5. Keyword Research
This is a service where people want you to help them do keyword research to find more keywords they can create content on depending on their kind of business.

You can simply get this done by going to a free website called wordtracker.com.

Put in your first keyword related to your customer’s business and click on the search button. It will bring out many more related keywords for the business and also show you figures of how many people are searching for those keywords every month. You can then send these keywords to your customer and get paid handsomely.

With so many people losing their jobs in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic around the globe, it goes without saying that an online business is non-negotiable for wise and forward looking entrepreneurs.

This eliminates the need for carrying inventory or arranging for shipping and delivery.

Digital products are so many. They include e-books, video courses, podcasts, audio files, templates, graphics, software, memberships, coaching, webinars, online groups, masterminds, online courses, virtual retreats, bootcamps, etc A very long list indeed.

This diversity leaves a lot of room for entrepreneurs to churn out content in many ways, however they see best to meet the needs of their audience or customers.

That is why such entrepreneurs are called creators - they create content to meet the needs of their target audience.

A lot of research is needed before you as a creator settle to a niche. This is to validate that there is need or demand for what you want to sell.
Meaning that people are actively searching for what you want to sell online.

This research must be carried out before you start any form of product creation so as to avoid stories that touch!

Knowing these will help you speak directly to her in your message or ad so much that she knows you are speaking to her no matter the crowd.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that everyone is your ideal customer or you'll end up selling to no one.

For some people, it is easy for them to identify what they want to monetize online while others don't find it easy at all.

Your knowledge well is made up of a combination of your skills, expertise, passion, education, training and talents.

It must be something you can easily talk about for a long time impromptu. You flow easily in it and sometimes, it doesn't even feel like work at all. It's fun to you because it's your strength.

The mistake most people make is to relegate their knowledge and take it for granted because they think anyone can do it just because it's easy for them. Big mistake!

Because something comes easy to you does not mean it is easy for others!

For some other people, they have gained strong expertise at something they have done over and over in their place of work and can easily teach others.
