YOU NEED TO SEE THE DOCTOR!

Sicknesses are a part of this world as a consequence of the fall of man and are usually accompanied by symptoms. These are the signs or evidence that become manifest in the lives of sick folks.
The sick person will no longer be his usual self and unable to lead a normal life. He is expected to quickly visit a hospital to see the doctor so he can be diagnosed and given appropriate medication to cure his malady.

The sick man does not just fold his hand, do nothing and pretend that all is well. That would be disastrous and may lead to death. The people around him would not even allow him stay without seeking medical help. They'd even pay his hospital bill if that is the problem because life is precious.

Men don't joke with life and would do anything to preserve it. This is because once life is lost, it can't be recovered. No man has power to give life to another- no matter how dear he or she is to you.

But why is it that when some christians become spiritually sick, with evidences like prayerlessness, loss of taste for spiritual things, loss of the presence of the holy Spirit, lack of answers to prayers, lack of testimonies in his/her life and family, satanic afflictions, lack of victory over sin, loss of the fruit of the Spirit, levity, insensitivity to the Spirit, hardness of heart, malice and unforgiving spirit etc, such 'believers' still patch up and pretend to still be christians. They still carry on with the work of God. They keep ministering from a cold & dry heart! They hold on to their position in the church.

This could go on for many years with some people while their spiritual degeneration worsen! Truth be told, the longer it takes for a backslidder to realise his fallen condition, the longer will be the path to restoration. When Mary and Joseph were returning from Jerusalem to their home, they assumed Jesus was in the company. They had travelled for a whole day before they realised Jesus wasn't with them. It took them three days search before they found the Lord in the temple!

There are physical sicknesses that would require that the patient be admitted in the hospital for a period of time while others will not require admission, depending on the severity of the sickness. How come fallen or backslidden christians cannot take time off to seek this Heavenly Doctor, who only can heal their souls' diseases till He comes and rains righteousness upon them? Why aren't you concerned enough for your own soul as to wait in God's presence? How far can you go in life without God in your boat? See how the devil is molesting and wasting your life and time? Don't you know your soul is in danger? The enemy can strike hard and get rid of you before you have another chance to repent!

Why not fall on your knees before God and cry for mercy? Why not open up to God that you're spiritually dead? He will come and save you! He won't allow the enemy prevail over your precious soul. Brother/sister, this is the time to seek the Lord!
