I follow all the comments, if you all don't Nigeria Police was the first organization to go life online, check the who is of www.nigeriapolice.org, and cross check the websites of all other government agencies.
2. Nigeria Police websites was developed and maintain by Police officers, so the issue of budgeting money for the email address which is on the police server is not an issue.
3. We are currently recruiting ICT professionals, if you are good enough apply, the form will close at the end of theis month.

The Nigeria Police will soon be recruiting ICT professionals to work in the newly created I C T department. Details will be published in http://npf.gov.ng and www.pscrecruitment.org.ng.

The reason for this assessment which many thinks is too early is to provide a basis to access IGP MD Abubakar in, 60 days, 90 days etc, so that Nigerians and the research team in the Nigeria Police Force will be able to give necessary advise to enable him fullfill is mandate of transforming the Nigeria Police Force. Most people belives he can do  it with supports from all and sundary, and necessary funding from government.

Today marks the first 30 days in office, of MD Abubakar as the 16th indigenous Inspector-General of Police. In his first press briefing, he promised to transform the Nigeria Police Force, by making it people friendly and ensure it becomes an organization every Nigerian will be proud of, by improving the service delivery of the Police.

The Police High Command has declared Kabiru Umar (a.k.a. I noticed all to recovered stolen vehicles are all in the north, does that means the north have overtaken the south in vehicle snatching or theft? lol

We are still uploading recovered vehicles from the south into the portal, but have to suspend it becuase of the ongoing update on the site.

You have to upload information about the stolen vehicle yourself, even after you have made a report in the police station.

if you are truely involved, i will like to say well done. Its a good initiative. You need to man the on a full time basis ie managing the flow of information regularly and you also need to make people aware that the site exist. Also, a system where by recovered cars can be taken off the site quickly to avoid it being clogged.

This is one of the updates to the site, recovered vehicles are removed from the site automatically after some time, but visitors can still search the secure end to check for it.
