The Timbuktu test yestaday was something else yestaday at CMD Shangisha
Though the organizers made it difficult for themselves as they couldn't control the crowd
But its really pathetic that young men and women who claim 2 ve gone thru
D 4-walls of the university couldn't conduct themselves properly
They were all behaving like garage and area boys whichever is worse
It took d effort of a young guy 2 make sure it went as orderly as possible
Ironically, the young guy was also a test taker like everyone there yestaday
I was really impressed
It was leadership at its peak
The guy did what the organiser couldn't do
He went went stage and addressed the entire auditorium articulately
With confidence, stressing the importance of maturity, respect for authority and being responsible as young people
Afta the crowd overwhelm the organisers and broke into the auditorium, venue 4 the test
I pray 4 many more young men and women like dat guy

If You were at the GT Bank test on saturday, 01 march
You'll understand wht I'm talking about
It goes to show how desperate people are
I mean to extend of stealing the test question paper
If You really went through school for 4-5yrs, writing and passing exams in the process
I see no reason why You should steal and abscond wit test questions
Its appalling,irresponsible and pathetic
Its my prayr that the person is caught
And not only banned from taking test again in this country
But also prosecuted
By that ill-conceived and iresponsible action
He'd actually put the chances of genuine candidates who were prepared
And better quallified for the job, at risk
I encourage us to keep this issue alive and debate it rigourously
Cos it affects evryone

I think its dishearthening and disappointing that
Pple send in post about how much a bank or company pays
Alot of pple are too busy concerned about renumeration
Thereby missing the salient issue(s) when it comes to job/career choice
I belive 2 much emphasis on money makes one miss the essence of something, it doesn't matter what it is
I think as young men n women, as intellects, we should center more on the long-term
Rather than waste our time, youth and our intellect on vain glory
Ur choice to take an offer should not be solely influenced by much they pay
But rather on the long-term, asit affects making a career!
I'll encourage as many as can to respond to this challenge
Because we are at a cross-road
we are the future of this country
But the point is, the future we always talk about is here already
In the next decade or so, leadres of govt. n industries will emerge amonst us
What kind of future do we want for ourselves and our children?
