RomanceRe: Is It Okay To Marry Someone From A Different Race? by fixit4me: 6:31pm On Oct 04, 2011
At first i wanted to pour out my venom at some biased and uninformed guys talking poo about the white women having freckles, wrinkles, pale skin bla bla bla, but i came to another basement of reasoning that such people are just so pathetic and need quality help, I hate stereotyping and feel those who indulge in it are somewhat uneducated or have refused to see the dangers of a single story.
Trust me when i say i have been there and respect those who have come on here to touch on their true life story making it possible for others who are tolling that path to learn from the school of reality. I have experienced both extremes of bad and good white ladies vis a vis black ladies and strongly believe that people should be judged by personal encounter and not race.
But what i have learnt so far been a member of nairaland is to jettison those with childish behaviour, who of course can't put a face to their disdainful comments on a social media site, and hope Seun can re-access policies guiding online comments as free speech is too important to be left to fend for itself in a large community like Nairaland, and i still maintain that one major way is to integrate user's login system with Facebook in order to make it harder for commentators to hide behind pseudonyms.
It doesn't matter if you are black or white and i can tell you with both sides of my chins that white women don't smell, and ironically they age faster but live longer. One of the ways to have a successful IR marriage is to engage in constructive discussions about the cultural clashes and differences, put forward a robust spectrum of civilised discussion with your partner about the intricacies IR's, and with time you would understand that the much colour debate of been white or black is really not the crux of the matter, but cultural differences. When i met my wonderful european wife to be, I told her about a govt program in Nigeria I grew up to know under OBJ's regime called "FSP" family support program and the whole idea behind it that not so many people have been privileged to understand was a misrepresentation that the program was created by the govt to help Nigerian families, but in reality it was just about the Nigerian families helping themselves, and she was able to draw a clear cut distinction between the social benefit state in Europe (govt for us all) and the family benefit in Africa (family for us all) and saw the need to send money home to folks.
Talking about the white race been over-rated, i think this could be hinged on statistics that show we have more IR marriages between blacks and caucacian whites than hispanic or other races.
Poster i seriously salute your courage considering your age and empathize with supposed adults who come here talking thrash about other races in an attempt to run you down, but i must tell you "awon lo ma run down".
FamilyRe: My Two Children & Their Habits: by fixit4me: 8:01am On Aug 30, 2011
If you live in one of the western countries please dont try living bitters, yoyo bitters, pepper or anything - na beg i beg you, you know how children are seen in this part of the world, otherwise you may be charged for child battery, mutilation of child's taste bud and other hidden charges. You can try using the common western method of baby "Nap", get him used to sucking his nap rather than picking up infectious substances.
A woman was asked to pay 25,000 USD damages to her 7 year old daughter for applying a corporal punishment of putting pepper in her mouth. I was reading an article on how it becomes a sexual crime for a 13 year old boy to have a consensual sex with a girl of 14, the 13 year old boy was criminalized while the 14 year old girl was compensated, so you see, even consensual sex between two young teenagers can result in one of the youngsters facing criminal charges. often times, you don't know how the law would be applied.
PoliticsRe: Why We Bombed UN Building – Boko Haram by fixit4me: 10:23pm On Aug 27, 2011
Definition of Boko Haram: Western education is forbidden. If the extremist northerners hate western education so much, then we truly need a soverign national conference to extredite this minority and also help them to eradicate western education in that region, perhaps show much generosity by installing the much clamoured for "islamic education" and sharia conventional rules, and see how unemployable they become in multinational companies.
We have a lot to deal with as a "Nation". Boko Haram bombing up profiled buildings and calling BBC to lay some disdainful claims to the the bombings seem more or less a cheap popularity campaign. I think we need social and economic experts to have a national discourse of these endemic issues and come up with proposals to alleviate poverty, re-christen the public image and glory Nigeria enjoyed in the 70's.

RomanceRe: What Is The Problem With Nigerian Women For Heavens Sake by fixit4me: 10:52pm On Aug 15, 2011
I live in Europe and every country has its own peculiar problem, and i see it as a complete affront to talk about Nigerian girls like this. Whats so special in the thin whity you fantasize about 190, you really need to get a life and your posts suggest to me you were one of the london looters (if its okay to stereotype all black brothers in UK) base on what we saw on CCTV.

Then the poster should re-phrase (what is the problem with SOME nigerian women for heavens sake and stop the senseless stereotype of Nigerian women.

190, Read the article and all the comments. Leave our naija babes the way they are, don't make our girls kill themselves to become skinny. Check the comedy coming from lepacious Bose as a result of her God given plumpy shape. The most important thing is eating healthy food, engage in healthy exercise to increase blood circulation and normal heart beat rate (not to kill oneself for some God forsaken shape). Our naija babes get really compensated in other vital areas of life (manners, family bond, great at domestic front line) and that is not to say my sister wasn't considered for "Miss Akokite". Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, if you fancy Arabian girls, go for them and leave our naija babe as dem dey - we no complain

ComputersRe: Installing Windows XP Without A CD-ROM Drive by fixit4me: 9:37pm On Jul 29, 2011
sad sad sad. Hello, just stumbled on this thread after 3 weeks of sleepless night researching on the internet on how to reinstall my Win xp with a faulty cd rom. What i have done so far, i read about usb booting, my toshiba m45 does not support usb booting, so i read about plop boot manager to make it become usb bootable. Thank God plop boot manager supports installation via floppy apart from cd rom, so i ordered a toshiba usb floppy disk drive on ebay, downloaded plop boot manager on floppy diskette and use it to fire up my system, but first setting my bios to boot from FDD, plop boot manager works magic as my toshiba was able to recognize usb bootable flash drive, unfortunately Win xp professional set up keeps getting stuck when copying files from my usb, i have inter-changed the RAMs and still cant successfully copy all files without getting stuck in 16%, 24%, 54% (i need expert advice on this first as usb booting woud be great and time saving and can serve my PC in the future without stress, i found a method explained on google of taking out laptop HDD to another desktop, although that seems equipment demanding and special computer skills) If i have to fly with the second option, can i use usb 2.0 sata ide adapter to mount my laptop HDD on the desktop or do i really need to make a physical connection. I tried maybe not so wise way before, by using the usb sata ide adapter to mount the laptop SATA HDD on the desktop, the desktop recognizes the laptop HDD like a flash drive would work when put in a system for the first time, i was able to get into the HDD and see the content. I rebooted the desktop with win xp in the cd rom, it showed my laptop HDD and when i try to install xp directly into it, it get stuck with a message of desktop motherboard compatibility and i need a motherboard manufacturer software or something, to cut my story short, help me deal with first option of usb booting and make clearer the second option of any possibility of using usb 2.0 sata ide adapter, if thats gonna work. I make an SOS call on this adorable toshiba laptop before i make a decision to garbage it in 1 week. FYI: i am usling a demo version of flashboot to make my Ufb flash drive become bootable by copying win xp iso image on the pen drive usling flashboot. I urgently need this PC to work. any help guys
