Yeah, I knew it was not SA. The vegetation in the background does not match. Yes, Palm trees can be grown in SA but the usually in specific posh areas by the sea. Secondly, when South Africans are faces with danger, they have distinct reactions.. all the different groups.

Actually, 20 of them are Zimbabwean, 4 South Africans and 1 Motswana. One of the South Africans is a former Defence Force member.

I had no idea that he had gone into politics, used to watch some of his old movies back in the day. Desmond looks exactly like my neighbour! I mean, like an exact copy of each other. Hi, I think a number of people here do not have the full picture, excuse the pun. The OP attached the wrong image. This picture of a bruised and bloodied male is from a different incident.

In that incident, the police did kill one of the individuals that killed the man depicted in the attached photo. The also arrested two of the assailants.
