Lol where will Obi get 80%!! Even his SE region is not sure of that figure talkless of SS Things are not looking good for Obi in SS, the best he can pull is 60% jumper524: My main challenge is Atiku who seems to be gaining ground in the south. Obi needs to work harder and ensure an 80% victory in those SS and SE region.. That's the work God sent him to do. All those shouting PO and Atiku never supported APC back in 2019 when they were united.. Yet they lost by over 4million votes. Let them do the maths this time cos we stronger this time and your divided into 3. |

Politics › Mafab Telecommunication Launches 5G Network, Unveils Logo In Abuja by Flathead8(op): 12:34pm On Jan 26, 2023 |
WorldStage Newsonline– The Mafab Telecommunication Company has launched the Fifth Generation (5G) network and unveiled its logo in Abuja. The Chairman of Mafab, Dr Mushabu Bashir, in his speech during the launch at the International Conference Centre, on Tuesday in Abuja, said the launch had added another chapter in its journey towards a brighter and stronger future filled with hope and prospects. Bashir said with the 5G, business outfits would expand their frontiers with operational ease and speed, especially in the fields of education. Other fields are medical sciences, engineering, security, businesses like the banking sector, SMEs and smart cities, among others. He said 5G would not just benefit the urban areas but also meet long-term goals of ensuring that rural areas and villages enjoyed benefits of this amazing technology. “The rollout of Mafab 5G network is the beginning of immense opportunities for the country as it represents Nigeria’s capabilities and infinite possibilities. “The prospect of increased job opportunities as a consequence of the value-chain benefits the technology will generate and offer is the dream we have all gathered here to launch today,”he said. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Pantami reiterated that on Jan. 25, 2022, President Muhammadu Buhari launched the National 5G Policy for Nigeria’s digital economy. Pantami said as the Chairman of the National Frequency Management Council, he handed over the frequency spectrum to NCC and it conducted a transparent auctioning where two operators emerged as the winners, MAFAB and MTN. “MTN commenced the roll out and now MAFAB has joined the queue, I congratulate the Chairman of MAFAB for his commitment to the success of MAFAB. “It is absolutely difficult to have a new player who joined the sector within a small period of time and also to be competing with some of the active players in the sector”, he said. Pantamis said 5G had enormous benefits for security institutions, “because there are technologies in security that leverage on it which allows security institutions to properly manage security situations. “5G allows real time communications, and this has so many benefits to our security institutions to manage challenges effectively, like robots. “There are so many technologies and artificial intelligence to help our security institutions. “All of them leverage effectively on 5G, so this is in addition to economic benefits”, he said. The minister said there were many benefits of 5G, most importantly towards economic development. According to him, a research conducted by Boston Consulting limited in the USA in Feb. 2021 had indicated that the rollout of 5G in the US would increase their gross domestic product. Pantami said: “This will increase within 10 years by a minimum of 1.4 trillion USD to 1.9 trillion USD. “So, the benefits of 5G deployment is beyond just quality of service.” The minister said there were so many benefits because new technologies come along with new benefits like low latency, very high quality broadband and faster network. Pantami added: “It allows real time communication or almost near real time communication. “Today using 5G virtual surgery is being conducted globally. They did in the US and also in China. “The recently conducted a virtual surgery where the distance between the surgeon and the patient is over 3000 kilometers but the surgery was conducted successfully treatment of Parkinson’s in China, they did it also recently.” In his presentation, Mafab’s Communications spokesperson, Mr Adebayo Onigbanjo, while unveiling the company’s new logo, said, “as an operator born in the data age, Mafab will aim to serve customers.” Onigbanjo said that it would also serve the country by maximising the value of the digital technology. “While 5G brings a lot of excitement about fast downloads, low latency and high speeds, our promise is ubiquitous data for Nigerians. “Broadband is now an essential requirement and our data native network aims to deliver this to Nigerians,” Onigbanjo said. MTN Nigeria and MAFAB Communications won the 5G licenses of the 3.5GHz spectrum auction conducted on December 13, 2021. They paid $547.2 million licence fee each to the Federal Government by Feb. 24, 2022. The company also used the opportunity of the launch of its 5G services to unveil a brand-new logo, which it said heralded the dawn of a new era of infinite possibilities which the technology offered. https://www.worldstagenews.com/2023/01/24/mafab-telecommunication-launches-5g-network-unveils-logo-in-abuja/

Lol there was nothing like massive crownd in Kano and Kaduna, I know the rally in Kogi has really traumatized you to an extent that a gathering of 50 is considered massive!! With a gathering of Ibo community, zooming, cropping and all sorts of editing SLAP44: There was a time I used to think that Peter Obi cannot campaign in the North because of poor crowd and him being a new face, not a popular crook like the rest.
Peter Obi has surprised all of us, from his massive crowds in Kaduna and Kano states, the opposition even had to hire stone throwers to attack his vehicle in Katsina when it seemed obvious that his crowds are getting heavier in the North.
Peter Obi is now a force to be reckoned with in this presidential elections, achieving a national spread, and he is growing on the minds of every Nigerian daily. 😉
God bless Nigeria. |

Ooo okay Clevite: The analysis is in agreement with your projection about SE. The analysis also doesn't project Tinubu to win any SE States, despite having 2 Governors in the Region. It only projects that whatever advantage PDP may have above APC over there will be weakened by LP's expected good showing. |

As a northerner, I totally agree with most of these points! My only objections are; I don't think Tinubu will win any state in SE, however he will definitely get 25% in Ebonyi and Imo. Tinubu will clear all the SW states These are my 2 corrections Clevite: An Analysis By A Notorious BATIST, Sunday Wale Adeniran (SWA)
Let me give us a little analysis on one angle that will give Tinubu a massive victory.
Before we go into the details, let’s observe this breakdown:
APC States NW - 6/7 NE - 3/6 NC - 5/6 SW - 4/6 SE - 2/5 SS - 1/6 Total - 21/36
PDP States NW - 1/7 NE - 3/6 NC - 1/6 SW - 2/6 SE - 2/5 SS - 5/6 Total - 14/36
Chicken Republic aka APGA 1 State
Now let’s go one by one.
North West I will not mince words in telling you that the only state in NW that is under PDP govt will not be won by Atiku. Tinubu will win Sokoto state. I don’t see him losing any other state as well in North West. NNPP will put up a good fight in Kano but it is PDP that will suffer from that excepted good showing because Kwankwaso was with Atiku in the last election.
North East I still don’t give Adamawa and Taraba to APC but the remaining four states of Borno, Yobe, Gombe and Bauchi (a PDP governed state) will be won by Asiwaju and whatever margin Atiku may gain in Adamawa, Yobe should be able to cancel it and we will have a reservoir of votes from Borno.
North Central PDP has only Benue in NC but their only Governor is openly against Atiku’s ambition. Ortom is more concerned about his senatorial ambition than Atiku’s presidential race. However, I still see PDP getting a good number of vote in Benue despite the fact that LP will do some damage to them. Plateau is also not a state I have enough conviction to say would go Tinubu’s way and so I stick with Niger, Nasarawa, Kogi and Kwara.
South West Oyo and Osun are PDP states but Seyi Makinde did not attend Atiku’s rally. It is true that a Governor doesn’t solely determine the outcome of a presidential election in his state but it is safer, better and of more electoral importance to have a Governor of your party working for you. Adeleke is an Atiku man but the people of Osun will vote for Tinubu. Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo and Lagos are only concerned about the margin not about winning.
South East APC has two Governors but I am not one of those who say that Asiwaju will win a state in South East. However, whatever our loss in that zone, LP will help minimize it against our real opponent, PDP and we shouldn’t over flog that because it is too late at this point in time for SE voters to all go back to PDP. They want to make a loud statement and while I agree that they may still win that zone overall, their historic margin will be greatly reduced.
South South This is the zone where PDP has its highest number of Governors but things have really fallen apart in Delta and Edo almost beyond repair. I have not said that Atiku won’t win these states but I have not also said that he will win. LP will have good number of natural PDP votes here too. Cross River is an APC controlled state and we are expected to have a good showing there. Akwa Ibom will be won by PDP. Bayelsa will be fair too but the real battle is Rivers state. Wike has a point to prove and he will prove it.
If you take time to digest this, you’ll know that Insha Allah, Tinubu is Nigeria’s next President.

Business › Billionaire Sayyu Dantata Launches $450m Lubricant Plant In Lagos by Flathead8(op): 8:03am On Jan 25, 2023 |
Sayyu Dantata, billionaire cousin of Africa’s Richest person Aliko Dangote, has launched a $450 million lubricant plant in Lagos through Bestaf Lubricant Limited.
Dantata is the founder and Chairman of MRS Holdings Company Limited. The group’s operations span several West African countries, including the Benin Republic, Togo, Cameroon, and Côte d’Ivoire.
The 200 million-liter lubricant plant is the first of its kind in West Africa and covers the entire value chain of lubricants.
Dantata stated that the plant will not only generate foreign exchange for the country through product exports but also meet the needs of neighboring countries.
The lubricant plant has the capacity to produce 1,700 different products and will play a key role in Nigeria’s economy by boosting youth employment, generating revenue, and reducing the country’s import dependence.
The lubricant plant, located at the Bestaf facility, was inaugurated by Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday evening, in the presence of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other dignitaries.
Sanwo-Olu described the facility as an integrated first-class factory and highlighted the president’s excitement that the country’s captains of industry had continued to rise above all odds, despite the global pandemic challenge.
The Managing Director of Bestaf Trading Company, Andreas Wielsch, stated that with the lubricant plant, the company would be able to produce about 50 percent of Nigeria’s annual lubricant consumption of about 364 million liters.
He added that the launch of the new facility will drive the production of 200 million liters of lubricant per year, which is more than enough to cover 50 percent of the country’s annual consumption.
The launch of the lubricant plant by Sayyu Dantata is a significant step towards the growth and development of the Nigerian economy and a positive indication of the potential for more such investments in the future.
It is a clear indication that, despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, Nigerian businessmen and captains of industries are determined to continue investing in and developing the country’s economy. https://pmexpressng.com/billionaire-sayyu-dantata-launches-450m-lubricant-plant-in-lagos/
