pls wld luv 2 knw hw much it wld cost me 2 bring in either of the following cars ie camry 01/ maxima 01/ altima01/ honda cr-v 01wiv gud millages from d place.lukn forward 2 a quick response.Thnks.

am goin 2 refrain from using swear words bt the truth be said thats what the CONMESS SCALE IS.If u have a frnd who works in luth,kindly ask.U don't work as hard as i do cos i benefit from this scale.Wake up 6am,start work for 8am and will be busy till 4pm thats if am lucky.Might be on call which means my work does nt end for that day.Have 2 do my evning rounds again as well as any other miscellaneous which for sure won't end until late into the nite.When i say miscellaneous it simply means having some unstable pt.Must be on ground cos i can be called 2 the wards at any time thru the nite which is always goin 2 be and the cycle continues the nxt day.Av 2 go 2 work 4 rounds on sat mornin as well with/without being on call.Only free day is sunday and dts if u r nt on call.
U need 2 av a close individual 2 u thats a doctor 2 know wat we live thru.
I dnt av 2 post every grade's scale bt thats the lowest nd the highest u get with the conmess scale.
SO SEANwhtever u call urself SHUT THE TRAP UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to set things straight.According to the conmess scale,the youngest doc earns abt 158k after tax and all deductions with the consultants earning about 450k so wat the heck is this 200k for junior docs nd 700k for senior docs coming from and still doctors in luth don't drive SUV'S.Pls u all drop ur rants about doctors being greedy!!!!!!!!

@hercules; u talk abt doctors not being present during ur deliveries,that i know can't be true.Through out the duration of labour,i beg to ask who did the vital signs monitoring,progression of labour monitoring.WHo decided when to augment labour when the contractions were not adequate/progressing well.
Is it the nurses that can tell the labour was getting prolonged or likely to become obstructed.NOPES!!!!! Only a doctor can identify early signs of poor labour progress.Who repairs ur tears or the episiotomy"cut" the nurses give u at that final attempt at pushing and if the delivery goes awry(bleeding ensues),who takes care of it.THE DOCTOR YOU ARE CASTIGATING;US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
U talk about doctors in GHANA earning $800 in 2003,for ur info as at 2010 a fresh doc was earning $1500 with a roof over his head,a car that comes to pick him/her to work from the accomodation.If he/she decides to import a car,it is done duty free and not some old smoky car.They spend their holidays outside the CONTINENT not AFRICA and still they are leaving GHANA with all their govts attempt at keeping them.Up until 2010,nigerian doctors were migrating to GHANA if u don't know.
Let me show u the pattern of migration nw.Its aknown fact amongst us doctors;u can ask any close doctor frnd of urs:Started with saudi arabia in the 90's and i can tell u it happened again last yr.This country lost at least 200 doctors to saudi arabia last yr,Uk filled with nigerian doctors,South africa is filled,Ghana filled, US still taking doctors and now its AUSTRALIA.
u ALL TALk abt employing from outside the country,u cant pay them the stupid pay we r earnin now.The northern states are trying it bt its nt working thats why there is a high rate of mortality there.They bring in some funny egyptians,sudanese and pakistanis who are paid in thousands of dollars with very poor working knowledge or why on earth do u think when corper docs are posted they can never get redeployed cos they kniow what skills we can offer.


IN the past,if u all don't knw there was a surgeon general who the president never took for granted on issues of national importance which the advanced countries(US,UK) still have.Doctors were the highest earners in this country in the past.They earned more than ur judges,service chiefs until we went to sleep and lost our birth rights.Truth be told,those of us there now are out the get it BACK LEGITIMATELY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol ds is wat strike has turned me 2.Anyhw sha continue the castigation of doctors,na u sabi.the strike continues and if u want to knw.Look out for any doctor in lagos state employ,u suppose know 1 doctor or get frnd wey knw doctor nah.Our language is "ON CONMESS WE STAND" At least that will tell u am a doctor.

I said come over to luth;idiaraba.go straight to dialysis centre or ask for the place.Ask for matron williams,she is the matron in charge and put ur questions to her or dr bello and u might even be opportuned to see the woman there for ur self.u talk abt the disease happenin to me.Let me tell u ds;i lost my father to ds condition after 3yrs of living with it(CKD) so i know very well what it is and hw far it can go bt u don't know jack shit abt it so its u who is at risk.I never pray for it for my enemies but if u thnk it can happen to me then u r a joker besides am a doctor i know the causes and hw it progresses.If U NEED TO BE CONVINCED COME OVER TO LUTH AND CONFIRM FOR URSELF,U MIGHT EVEN BE LUCKY TO MEET ME then i will make myself known to u cos u will meet me if am not on the wards or at the clinic.Only thing i can say for nw is u can cme sme time nxt wk from mon cos nurses are on strike for nw.

fashola says he earns 850k,his commisioners earn 500k castigates the doctors for asking for living wages.This bill go open the guy yansh.All the contracts he has been appropriating for him self and that greedy ojuyobo that controls over 50% of lagos tax collections.

@delafruita u are so myopic and i cant exchange words wit u.Is lagos the only state that doctors are on strike to get the conmess scale implemented.What abt the states that agreed to implement it nd that are doin it;are they any richer than lagos.
I repeat 1ce again if judicial workers can be paid well above their counterparts in federal institutions then dont expect doctors to earn less than their federal counterparts.
u can decide to go thru the stress of med schul and commit ur selfish self to it.Doctors allover the world are never in the same pay bracket  with other workers(can always look it up),if u need to know.

i don't need to write my names down for u to confirm bt the consultant that signed the letter is known as doctor bello who u might be lucky to see there as well as the woman if she is there for dialysis.Come over and confirm for the doubtn thomas amongst u cos i pray things lik ds don't happen to u.It's only if it does that u will know what people can do to live.U talk cos u probably have never visited the hospital b4 or the worst that has ever happened to u is that u only ever had ,malaria or sepsis treated as "typhoid" for u.

@eko ile; am a newly registered NL not some person to u referred to earlier and am a doctor.I will repeat its nt about olaifa bt abt keeping to the terms of agreement made last yr.Goin on strike to get conmess implemented is not  lagos thing alone.Its a national thing even our colleagues in federal institutions are presently on strike because govt has made some deductions from the conmess salaries that was started last yr.
Truth be said and that is these people u call leaders don't use the public hospitals bt the reddingtons,lagoon and co.Am nt saying this to whip up sentiments bt its what i knw except when they are referred from  these hospitals to lasuth/luth and within days they jet out of the country.THEY DON'T BELIEVE IN THE SYSTEM Wwhich is the reason why they do what they do ie refuse to pay Nigerian doctors what they deserve
U all can afford to comment bt its only if u av a cause to be in a near death experience of a close family member/acquintance and see what doctors do that u can afford to appreciate wht we do.
Some of u peeps talk abt taking the initiatives to go and start our individual practise which a good number of doctors are into bt hw many people can afford the bills.U av patients absconding after treatment,begging to have bills reduced etc.
I AM REPEATIN MY WORDS AGAIN THIS AM BY SAYING IF THE LAGOS STATE GOVT CAN PAY JUDICIAL WORKERS WELL ABOVE WHAT THEIR FEDERAL COUNTERPARTS EARN THEN HE SHOULD PAY US WHAT OUR COLLEAGUES IN FEDERAL INSTITUTIONS EARN AND STOP PLAYING THIS MEDIA PROPAGANDA.
CONMESS SCALE for a new doctor is nt 200k as alledged by him.
STOP THE PROPAGANDA AND KEEP TO THE AGREEMENT MADE IN NOV2010.

Am a doctor and i knw where it hurts.U all say what u lik abt us bt the truth is you are all blinded by the media propaganda.he said he agreed to pay 75% of CONMESS when in reality he just raised the pay by 1% as the present pay is just 74% of CONMESS.he claims to pay the most junior doctor 170k and the consultant 700k;WHT A LIE FROM THE PITS OF HELL.Pay slips for Dec and Jan can prove it.He taxes outside our basic salaries which is not right(call duty ie overtime and others),not done in other climes.Lagos state doctors are not more than doctors in the employ of the federal govt;just not true.
Fashola should come out and tell the world why he can't pay lagos doctors the full conmess scale but he can afford to pay judicial workers well beyond their federal counterparts cos he is a lawyer and they are the ones to help them with their various court cases.What they say is "Sauce for the goose is Sauce for the gander"
 The strike was called of last year because he agreed to our various demands which included olaifa's reinstatement;why can't he keep to his own end of the bargain.
Doctors give so much and we just can't get the real value for the jobs we do bt lagos state govt should pay us something decent.They can go on with their propaganda because they don't use these hospitals.They always leave our shores when they fall sick.

@obowunmi;wat a being u r.I happen 2 know this woman and its a sad 1 to tell u that in truth she really is a known patient of the renal unit of luth.All u need to do is to visit the dialysis centre nd ask any of the nurses there if u are not lucky to see her in person.The letter was signed by a consultant who i happened to know very well.The woman in question is also well known to me because she has been under my care at different times(call hours) even though i am not part of her managing team and i have an idea of what she is going thru.I just can't go into every single detail.I lost my father to this condition and it was 3yrs of almost emptying what he worked to achieve over 23yrs.To the individual who uploaded the story i say keep on wit the good work.
