Well I know amaechi will clinch the vp ticket for some reasons;

1. Fashola is a muslim, and a muslim/muslim ticket won't sell that much. We shouldn't forget that Nigerians haven't mature that much in terms of ethno-religion politics. Pdp would have surely capitalize on that by telling Nigerians that APC is a muslim party. We shouldn't forget the deportation saga by fashola. Some wicked pdp elements will still want to use that one against him.

2. Osibanjo is not the popular and he has never held any important political office where people can attest to his compentancy. He won't sell that much. Nigeria politics is about who will win many votes for you, and am sure apc understood that.

3. Osho-baba on the hand is a muslim(even though some people said he has changed his faith which is not true). So APC will want to avoid the muslim/muslim ticket which will create unneccessary tension within the country.

The north is already locked-down for buhari even if he don't campaign that much in the region. The south west with the help of tinubu and many political gladiators in APC who are south westerners will also be locked down for APC.

Amaechi will pull many votes for APC in the south south more than fashola can pull through even with all the controversies sorrounding him(amaechi)

I believe APC has calculated all these things before amaechi was finally chosen. Lol the funny thing is that, apc has just set a battle ground for amaechi and jonathan in the S/S.

I hope my bro barcanista and obiagelli will see reasons in what I wrote.
