Family › Re: My Sister Beats My Mum, Guys What I'm I To Do? by FluffySucre(f): 12:53pm On Dec 30, 2017 |
jeff1607: I agree that training a child is the parent's responsibility, but when such a parent is no more would you turn away your eye?
this is Africa, parents aren't the only ones who train up a child, the community has a role to play. When one wants to involve himself with a family, he looks at the behavioural patterns of such families, that is why families don't joke with the upbringing of their wards.
what is family to u, if can't risk your life for them.
we do things just to make our loved ones family and you run back to family when all cards are down, now Dats family Op isn't an orphan, Dad is late Mum is alive, it's his mum whom younger sis is Beating. So there is a parent and that's his mum, asking him to come raise hell for not doing her job doesn't make sense. And About family, they re not always those related by blood. My late Dad May He Continue To Rest In Perfect Peace learnt that the hard way too... Quick question, will you tell him same thing if it was his younger brother who beat up his Dad? |

tola4think: nurturing a child itself requires wisdom,am sure at some point in development of your sister your mum would have noticed her excesses but turned blind eye.your sister didn't wake up one day to become a cultist and start doing drugs, someone gave her the freedom and she abused it Thank You! And now she has gone beyond her, his mum wants him to do the bending... |
Family › Re: My Sister Beats My Mum, Guys What I'm I To Do? by FluffySucre(f): 7:09am On Dec 30, 2017 |
Op please be careful, like some advised, do not beat/fight her that won't prove you are man only make you a dead man. Hear her own side of the story, it's possible ur mum was the one beating her. She became a Cultist after dad, I think she has depression, Tell your mum to stop confronting/ trying to disgrace her so neighbours would hear (women like doing that) , cos if she do, same thing would repeat itself. Just like when a husband comes home drunk instead of waiting till the next day to gently talk to him, the wife being a typical woman and it's possible she is the reason why he got drunk in the first place decide to confronts/ disgrace him then she gets a beating. Handle your sister with care and love, be that brother she can tell stuff/secret she doesn't want mum to know, like someone advised don't let your mum's cries drive u to do terrible things. When mothers want things done with no questions asked they do the crying, women esp mothers are the inventors of emotional blackmail, be careful... |

jeff1607: Bros try and use your head
married men who have daughters with busy schedules nko? so been busy is an excuse not to morally train his daughter abi?
go to secondary schools, you see boys protecting their siblings and preventing them social vices
in some neighborhoods, you can't get too close to some girls because people fear their brothers
the list goes on and on
if you can't protect your siblings who will?
being in school ain't an excuse, so engineering students don't go on holidays abi? even b4 he got admission
when you are the first born protection and guidance comes automatically to u
if brothers did their job we won't ve slay queens What is it Last time I checked training a child is the job of a parent not the siblings, he should leave school to stay home and do his mother's job. He has his life to live abeg, some people are saying beat her up, what if, God forbid he dies while trying to beat her. He will be in the great beyond seeking this same mother he fought and died for going to do omugwo later... |
Crime › Re: Medical Doctor In Bauchi Beats Wife To Stupor (Pics) by FluffySucre(f): 8:56am On Aug 28, 2017 |
LordOfNaira: I am enjoying the conversation here. As a medical doctor and a psychotherapist, these discussions hold a lot for me.
Well done, PaperLace, but I do believe that you feel life is as easy as you make it. Well, we professionals know it is not in all cases. Sometimes, the victims may have mental disorders like bipolar disorder or narcissistic personality disorder and the husband may be unaware because their marriage counselor is a pastor and not a professional. A man who marries a woman with narcissistic personality disorder is likely to beat her one day if he does not quickly walk away. Same goes for a woman who marries a man with narcissistic personality disorder. She is likely to become so battered emotionally and physically if she does not quickly seperate herself from him. Having given therapies to a lot of people, I can confidently tell you that not every man who became violent liked it. Some of them only did it once and regret it for a long time. Take for instance, a gentleman who marries this beautiful woman without knowing that she has narcissistic personality disorder. She begins to frustrate his life by throwing blames, abusing his parents whenever she feels like, is so jealous that she wants him to only work with males even though he is not the owner of the company where he works, slaps him and does not expect to be hit back and then one day, he defends himself. And one thing with people with narcissistic personality disorder is their ability to make you feel guilty in order to continue to manipulate you and make you feel worthless without them. So, the day you hit them (even if they have been hitting you for years), they would surely play the victim's card and then they will nag you everyday to make you feel bad for ever daring to stand up to their manipulation. I can tell you that there are men going through frustrations like these. Just as there are women going through same. Cases like these are sometimes unique that it is difficult to judge them. The one that came to social media first might have even been the aggressor. What He / She said! |

Elparaiso: Irritate ke? How? I kind of like his cheesiness in the show. In fact, the scenes he has shared with Danny so far are usually funny. If we were to pick a weak link in the team, it would be Daredevil sef. No powers, except not being actually blind. He's just like Hawkeye in Avengers, useful but meh. I'm even surprised that he could fight the Black Sky and escape unscathed. I know he doesn't have superpowers but for a blind ordinary guy, he defends well. Plus he is HOT! |

Evaberry: m...
A beach wedding is what I would love, in February or August, I want to put on a lovely pink or blue gown with only 30 or 35 guests in attendance. I want it to be intimate and close. I want him to know that the wedding is about us and not about pleasing some asholes.
even better if we can elope Same here... but you see, men aren't the ones wanting a wedding extravagant enough to please people it's always the ladies. They want a very large and perfect wedding. Trust me, most men would want a private wedding with a small guest list. |

Never read where men, torment a child but you always hear the so called mothers torture children. What is more heartless than that, anyone who do not have soft spot for children is demonic! Inserting a broom stick inside his JT, it's very sad children have no right in this country. |

Family › Re: Because I Am A Woman! by FluffySucre(f): 10:56am On Jan 05, 2017 |
Xensity: The woman forgot to mention these:
Because you are a woman, a man is expected to pay for you when you both go out, while you just eat and enjoy.
Because you are a woman, a man is not expected to hit you.
Because you are a woman, it's expected of men to do the physically challenging and strenuous jobs, while you do the easy ones.
Because you are a woman, men are expected to protect you like they were your bodyguards.
Because you are a woman, a man is expected to provide for you and take care of you, even if you can provide and take care of yourself.
Because you are a woman, men are expected to defy their natural programming, take medications, do exercises and practice hard, just to spend an inordinate amount of time pleasing you during sex.
I despise posts like this. The writer is painting a hyperbolic picture of what women experience while demonizing men in the process. She is also victimizing her gender in such a dishonest way, and making it seem like all she said is a true representation of how majority of men view or treat women in our present day.
And I find it quite funny that the minority of women who are actually facing subjugation, like the women in Taliban Afghanistan, aren't the ones creating this kind of post, it's these trend seeking, brazilian hair-wearing, face-painting, dress-slaying, gadjet-flaunting opportunists that know nothing about their world, and who have it easier than their Nigerian male counterparts, that are the ones passionately championing feminism on social media.
All you feminist apologists should just shut the fuuuck up. There has never been a better time for women in the history of human civilization than now. The world is getting better for your gender. Fuuucking remove the ideological blindfolds from your eyes and see.
Op, why don't you borrow a time machine and take your disingenuous thread to 18th century Nigeria. That's where it would make sense. I could kiss you right this! |

MrsMurphy: This is the true definition of what mainly African women go through Few of them, yes. But most don't, only yesterday in the bus on my way from work you should see how this woman was raining curses on the driver, am sure if it was jus the two of them she would have hit but claim the man has been beating her for nothing, and people will believe her because she is a WOMAN. She was both the Offender and attacker, very bad. |

KealDrogo: Hmm having plenty beards. Unless it is intimidating like mine which is very good to your advantage. There was this interview i went to, the lady couldn't look at me straight in the face she was so nervous and sweaty. I tried to ask if there's any problem but she won't say. I guess my beautiful nicely shaved bears unbalance her and she couldn't cope with my cute bearded face staring at her. She ended up asking me some simple personal questions, sweet chat then a handshake. |
