Sometimes a reality check is all we need. The average Nigerian would pick reliability over performance any day, any time. Besides, where are the roads to enjoy that performance? Reliability should be the most important deciding factor when getting a car in Nigeria. We want a low cost maintenance ride that gives an average level comfort without breaking a sweat. My younger brother whom has a GL450 2008 model enjoyed the car after the first few years of purchase but after 5 years of usage, the whole drama begins and you begin to feel the expensive repairs. A Lexus or Toyota would cost less to repair and will maintain their reliability even after 10years with little hassles. My Pathfinder 1998 model rocks as solid as a rock with daily AC usage and I spend less to maintain it. It has never let me down on the road and I never break a sweat to fix it. A missed vein when piercing is inevitable but injecting a drug when a health personnel is not sure if the drug is actually going into a blood vessel is unforgivable. You need a more serious case to get the attention of the nursing council as many are not qualified. They are rather trained by private clinics. Get a good doctor to look at the site. MB in Nigeria is a no go. Parts are very expensive and sometimes, you wait weeks to months for certain parts. These Japs are the way to go. Even with missed maintenance, the car goes on. Very reliable products. Lexus all the way abeg. 1 Like |
