Neofingerz:Anywhere: side-table, sofa, kitchen, wardrobe, toilet, corridor etc. The important thing for me is that it is OFF. |
okenwaa:Sweetheart, I'm not a doctor |

Imustreturn:You that is awake every night, how many lives have you saved? Sweetheart, I'm not a doctor |
moscobabs:Lol. |
Everyday, I switch my phone OFF from 10:30pm - 6:20am (wake-up alarm rings). Then begin to meditate, think and plan, before I eventually dooze off Any call or message that comes in between at this time is OYO. This is a healthy habit that I've kept for years now. I don't compromise my sleep o, I have to be alert, not-half sleepy and mentally sound to face the next day's task. |
Onyinyechukwuamaka. Spilt into two Onyinyechi and Chiamaka |
So you did not learn decency from your decent parents? Na Eedris come teach you? ![]() Wetin come dey bring all these nonsense stories "motivational" stories from you two? Yesterday, Linda released another "motivational" story ![]() Abeg park well o. |
Lack of home training. Why should I even look at my sister's boyfriend twice, no to talk of sister's husband! Then have an affair with him?! Lack of home training! |
Because in the olden days, rice was a very special and scarce commodity, eaten in a big man's house during an occassion. As time went by, it started being grown locally, but still in subsistent quantities. So average families could afford to eat it once a week. And as Christianity started penetrating into communities, Sunday gatherings became common, and was seen as a very spacial day. Hence the average families cooked rice mostly on Sundays. Now it's become a tradition. *oral history by my dad. |
Why are there no commercially sown in Nigerian aprons? Even though we have thousands of good tailors? Here are ideas....

Dacronym:I've never bought TV from them, just saw it on sale at their falgship shop. But their speaker that I bought is a wonder! |
Xiaomi has diversified o, not just phones now. Speakers, TV, power bank, rice cooker, household appliances, USB, selfie stick, many things. And they make good quality stuffs. |
babajeje123:Is she the woman that runs "Digitest"? |

Okay, I won't reply any more posts on this thread. God bless you all! |
LaudableXX:If ever a company employs two young graduates (one first class graduate and a third class graduate) into the same job roles, to do the same things, for the same pay, that company is on it's track to failure because obviously, they understand neither hard work nor encourage it. Except the third class person has done something really extraordinary (through hard work still) to prove this capabilities and potentials. Or if it's back door recruitment, which brings me back to my first point, that such a company is set up for failure. However, if a third class graduate is employed for another role in the company (say clerical work or something) where his first class classmate is the manager, then after some time, he starts to make trouble in the company with the usual cliche "after all we took the same courses and blablabla", he is bringing anarchy into the system. Such a person should be given a hot seat! It is just like a driver telling his Oga, "after all I have driven you for 20 years, I know this car more than you. I am even older than you." So? Does it make the car his own? See how people cause wahala? These are just examples o, to explain how people can bring chaos into a system. It does NOT apply to the subject matter of this topic. Main point is that, in whatever organization you are, do your own role, take your salary go home! Don't look into another person's. If you are employed as a nurse in a hospital, beautiful. Hospitals need you, yes! Patients need you more, sure! But please don't go there and be rubbing shoulders with the doctors with these "after all" statements. It's annoying, sentiments aside. |
Woooow. Congratss to my kind of woman Where are all those "old newspaper" NL boys throlling girls here to goan marry? Behold, this lady is 37! My advice to any strong woman doing legal hussle is to find your footing first. Don't be a liablity to another man in the name of "marry early". Be independent. Earn your own cash and respect. Naija economy no strong o, even the guys are not finding it funny. Medical science has developed so much that child birth at 30's and 40's can be managed without complications. Don't be scared. Don't focus on your age. Go get it! Nuff said. Hehehe |
You have a smart son |
They did not deny anything. The statement up there says that they "information is not open to the general public". Which means, it is backyard runs, man-know-man. Since the Minister is from the North, your guess is as good as mine. Shine your eyes, Southern Nigeria! |
Wow! These numbers will distablize any economy. Imagine people trouping in hundreds of thousand into another country. Some will be sick without money. The country will be forced to treat them free. The pregnant women will need to access urgent medical care (most times without a dime). They'll provide shelther, feeding, sometimes clothings etc. The labour market will be congested. Many will be jobless and will be forced into doing illegal things to survive. Security of the local people becomes a threat. The good roads you see, the portable water, electricity, medical facilities etc For all these, the government uses tax payers money to build and maintain. And you come empty to enjoy it free. Hewww, Lawd! I really don't blame Trump. |
Leke is quite silly for saying that. Osibanjo is madt for officiating the islamization of Nigeria tagged "compulsory cattle ranching" across states. #BoycottRCCG |
Acidosis:You are right in some of what you said but a lot of sentiments in your write-up. Nobody carries the "certificate band" in offices. You work your own, I work my own. You earn your salary and not be greedy for another's. Peace will reign. But when one oversteps their boundary and into another person's speciality, "hey, he's earning more than me o, we attended the same university, we took almost the same courses, we go assist in surgeries too", and all the other buhahahas. They bring anarchy to the system. That's when they'll open eye and embarass you. And usher you the right seat. Nobody takes that lightly in any part of the world. Dazzzol ![]() |
They are both prostitutes. NB: Prostitution is sleeping with a stranger for money or sexual satisfaction. |
Amarabae: ![]() |
Amarabae:Market woman ![]() Medical doctors trash you, you come to Nairaland and cry. Well-respected indeed ![]() |
Amarabae:You called me names, I ignored. Gave me meaningless titles, I ignored. But you are not satisfied. Why? I have allowed you win the fight, even blew you a kiss, yet you are not satisfied. Why? This thread is not anything about Engineering. Yet you are hammering on it as if your life depends on it? Why? Even if you win a hundred times, you'll still not be satisfied. Why? Always being on the fight-mode is personality problem. The reason why the real medical doctors will not give you a chance! Madam, biko, I beg you calm down and be humble in whatever field you work in. Don't be fighting for superiority upandan. Or get a JAMB form and start afresh. When you said you'll not allow your kids study Engineering, I looked at that statement and smiled. You know why? Because you have never seem the outside world. Engineering to you is just lighting a bulb. Such a small small mind that you have. Please continue fighting, but no tear pant o ![]() |
Amarabae:Chai, "Agric Jobless Engineer", only meeee ![]() No wahala. Dey fight dey go |
Acidosis:Even in these advanced countries you mentioned, their is disparity. In China, for instance, "zhuangke" which is equivalent of OND is different from "gaozhuang" which is the equivalent of "HND" is different from "benke" which is Bachelors, different from "shuoshi", which is Masters. When you get employed into a company, your academic qualification determines the cadre you are placed. That is where you start growing from. Everybody respects each other. Nobody drags a position superior to what he/she has acquired academically. Afterall, there was pre-requisites for entry into higher education. Tomorrow 3rd class will come and be dragging position with 1st class. How? Because "they took the same courses together". So? ![]() The institution is not growing because of the people who wants to be placed where they are not qualified to be. They are the ones dragging everyone backwards. |
Amarabae:Says a lab technician hanging a stethoscope on her neck ![]() |
Was there a public notice to the selection of candidates? Now, there'll be an interview tomorrow. Go and check the interview list, and your eyes will see for yourself. That's how we queued up to write Federal Scholarship exams in Federal Girls Owerri, 2012. The exams started very late. Some sleep in the classrooms, because it continued into the night. After all those rigors, no scores were published, no information from the examining body. Nothing! The next thing, Minister is excorting some candidates to airport! Check their names, 22 Issahs and Maliqs. Only 1 David! Can you Imagine! ![]() One Nigeria isssaaa fraud! |

In the workplace, once a 3rd class degree holder & a 1st class degree holder are employed into the same job role, on the same salary scale to carry out the same duties, they are equal. Nobody earns a higher package than the other, due to the class of his degree. Your progress within the company then depends on the value you bring to your job, and how well you achieve your deliverables.
