When I was writing my Masters Thesis (abroad), my supervisor told me that any reference I'm quoting older than 10 years should be scrapped that the technology should be outdated by now. Last week, I was browsing online when I saw an article published by my undergraduate university (Nigeria) lecturer. His references dated as far back as 1970's. Wait lemme look for the picture.
