freg2000:

There are some things which should be criminalise in Nigeria in terms of employment.
It should be made an offence to ask about your age, where you come from, and marital status.
It should not even be disclose in the CV. Thar is the standard now.

How would "Federal Character" be checked if they don't ask of where you come from?

CONGRATS TO THOSE SHORTLISTED

Hello potential officers and men of the Nigerian Police Force, I bring you greetings.

In the Holy book it is written "...there is a time for everything..." so for that I want to congratulate all the successful officers and men, both general duty and specialist, for coming out victorious out of the thousands that took the test.

Remember "to whom much is given, much is expected" according to the Holy book. Therefore, consider your victory as a call to serve our fatherland through NPF by changing the service for good.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU

Any specialist invitee in IMO, writing on the 22 in Alvan by 10 am, please help me out with a copy of the invite, lost mine, my head don scatter. dchydon@yahoo.com

I'll advice you to get another person's invitation and edit it. When doing that, make sure to:
1. Collect invitation from the same cadre you applied for
2. Go to the State command of your state to check the list of shortlisted candidates so as to obtain your applicant invitation number e.g. BSC/CASP/A000052B
3. Use this number in your editing stuff.
4. Print out your edited invitation letter.
It is as simple as this!

[quote author=godwinizu post=48460500]Let me say this, and before I say it let me remind every one that I don't post any how and am no rumour monger. Now to the information, the list actually has been compiled for the next stage, in that if u know any one in the psc he can verify for u, but do u need border? No, cos if u got As in all parameters tested in the first stage u r in for the 2nd stage though that doesn't mean u r already a police officer but is sth to be happy for. Let me advice that we should start revising as the exam is expected to hold on the 22nd. This information was given to me by a bro working with psc. NOTE:He hasn't been able to assist me, just gives me information once in a while so no need to think am trying to defraud fellow unemployed youths as God is the only that can help me and u. Thanks
Thanks for the info. I got A's during the state screening, so let me start preparing for the zonal screening. Thanks once again.

So, if these allegations are proven, Dogara must stay.

And of what relevance is Mr Gbajabiamila to the very serious allegation of fraud against the speaker?

Your thinking is exactly as bad as or worst than those people you are referring to

UEK33:
Abuja – The Chairman, Senate Committee on Police Affairs, Sen. Abu Ibrahim, has denied insinuations that ongoing recruitment by the Nigeria Police Force was lopsided.Ibrahim told The Nigerian Observer in Abuja on Friday that he was in touch with the police authorities on the criteria for screening and other processes involved in the exercise. He said that he was monitoring the exercise, adding that screening of applicants was based on conditions that were fair to all Nigerians.Ibrahim said the recruitment targeted at getting 10,000 persons into the police force would in no way marginalise any state of the federation. He explained that it in order to comply with United Nation’s standard that the Police Service Commission and relevant stakeholders decided to carryout the exercise based on local governments.Ibrahim said, “the rank and file will be nine per local government; then the officers will be 12 Inspectors and 12 Assistant Superintendents of Police.“The criteria for professionals are not out yet.“For me, selecting nine persons from each of the 774 local governments is a good gesture. I met with the chairman of Police Service Commission, Mr Mike Okiro.“He said that they had finished the screening based on physical fitness, age and education; now, they are going to compile the final list based on zones’’.He added that the final level of the recruitment would commence next week, saying “it is a very tedious job but I don’t think there is any controversy.“I heard someone on radio saying the recruitment should be based on states, not local governments.“The reason why local government is being used is because there is a United Nations standard and using that method is the only way to meet that standard,’’ he said. The lawmaker assured that the committee would not relent in its oversight functions to ensure good working condition for the police. He added that the committee would soon commence a tour of police facilities across the country to ascertain their conditions.www.nigerianobservernews.com/2016/07/police-recruitment-not-lopsided-sen-ibrahim/

You are doing a nice job man, keep it up. Keep us informed of any latest development concerning this recruitment.
Crime / Re: AbiaPoly Student Stabs Landlord To Death For Interrupting Him During Sex by flyingofficersi(m): 4:54pm On Jul 07, 2016
freebreezeyz:
RIP to the landlord.

But to me, it was foolhardy for the landlord to have barged in while the visitor was still there. If am correct, the incident happened around 9pm! meaning there may still have been room for the guy to discharge his visitor after their fun.

Students wld remain students! The caretaker was also too fast in contacting the landlord! I do not condone what the student did, but a little maturity wld have saved a lot and a life in this scenario!

My Opinion tho......
You are absolutely right bro, but I also think that the landlord invited dead for himself because he should have excuse himself after bagging into the room since the student can no longer deny the fact that he was caught right-handed
