solomonwis: Your brother might be able to overturn this ban if you can answer these questions:He did not include the old passport The old passports has the refusal stamps thou, He didn't know that they still have his 2006 data and you know the biometrics is not in use then so he though since its over 7years that they must have destroyed it,coupled with the introduction of the new nigerian passport. It was only a mistake |
kofsy: Wait! How did he know he has been banned? Was he told point blank? Or he just guessed? It was writing there that such act attracts a ban of 10years |
Pls huz my younger brother, just received 10years ban the ECO's reason was that he did not mentioned that he has been refused visa 3times in 2006 with the old passport, our taught was that since it was more than 5years ago that they must have destroyed his previews applications. right now I want to know if there is any form of appeal to reduce the ban or something |
Vicjustice: I thought that regulation did not stand, hasn't it been scratched out?Hello vic I heard this morning that it will still go on come November |
House pls what if a 6months visa is issued to me before the November 3k bond kicks off and i intend to visit in december for a 2weeks visit. Do u think I will be asked to pay the 3k pounds while I already have the visa or will it only be for the visa seekers alone at that time |
Vicjustice: In this case, he may be subjected to explain what he was doing in the UK, not because his stay was illegal, but because of the circumstances... And failure to give satisfying explanation may result to his discredit. Thanks my brother |
Vicjustice: A lot of people are not aware that some visas could carry REMARKS... Now, remarks on visas are extremely important to observe as they outline the condition of use.If he shd stay for 4months won't this affect his next application when he wants to apply for the 2yrs, cos he told them he was working here in 9ja, won't they ask him why he spent such time over there instead of the 2weeks |
My people una good afternoon, pls I have a question, If someone gets a 6months uk visiting visa on the grounds that he is working in a company here in 9ja which is formality and in his application he stated that he wants to go for a 2weeks holidays, how long do u think will be proper for him to stay over there since his aim is to apply for 2yrs visa when the 6months expires |

bolayei: My man there are a lot of reasons why you should stay in nigeria...,1) You are already 28 and you are meant to have your family by now all things being equal. At 28 its not easy without a work permit you will then maybe live another 5 year before you get legal status by then you will be 33 years old and uk is not a place where you can keep money it comes and goes incase you are thinking of saving its almost impossible2) Six months visa is a visiting visa without work permit, that means you will live illegally and you are a graduate trust me nigerian degrees are not recognised here even if there were accepted you still need a work permit.3) 1 million naira can start something just try and make it official i.e register a company and start anything at all even if its frying puff or akara (just joking but you get my drift) anything at all just make it official and open an account, if you need more money your said uncle will assist as long as you can convince him you are on point. Trust me in 6 months of running a business you can apply for a visiting visa and submit all your business related document its 98.9% that they accept and then you get your six months visa and visit the u.k and come back so that you can get 2 years meanwhile you have a business to come back to and from visiting the uk you will get some more business ideas to implement in nigeria.Bolayei u are the man, thanks so much I really appreciate this, u have hit the point finally, good idea my friend thanks I will apply this |

MRbrownJAY: whoever told the OP the he can SAVE £4K, while living (and working illegally) in the UK for 3-4 months, is a damn liar. yes, some can even save that in 1 month but i doubt this is the type of job that the OP wants to do.Thanks brown, well my uncle can only get me visiting visa, while one is there can u turn ur visiting visa to working visa, what kind of job can give u such money over there |
