emetisuccess: A year ago, someone contacted me, stating that he wants me to build an inventory management system for him, that will manage his business and employees, I told him I'm going to charge him 200k for the job to be done. This guy have the guts to price me 80k I told him I'm not doing, long story cut short, I brought the price to 150k last. Baba said he'll be paying 100k, I told him, my last price is 150k , that I won't take anything less. He said he can't pay such amount, then I told him I can't work with his budget either. So we went our separate ways. What I'm I trying to say here is, discuss price first, if it doesn't favour you walk out of the job but if it favours u collect 60% of the initial price. Before starting the job. Simple. Don't get money from people when u know it won't see of the project.

My only requirement was that the payment is after everything because it’s an online stuff, not face to face developer stuff. That same guy, he said the must be part payment first.
I really trusted him, his portfolio looks very great, but the person in charge of the payment didn’t want any form of part payment before completion… That’s the only thing that stopped me.

So, you are justifying the scam. Why did he collect 10k data money when he knew he would stop communicating with client.
Please has anyone had a recent experience with getting a 221g form while doing Interview Waiver and being asked to schedule a follow up physical interview? Do you have any advice on the process?

Make sure you go to the 221g interviews with details of your last trip. Where you stayed, why you stayed that long etc.
And also proofs that you can sponsor your next trip.

Even on the 221g form, it's clearly stated that you do not need to fill another DS160 form.
flourishing247: I already gave him my answer before you came with your essay. It is not necessary to fill another form. The interview will be based on what he filed in his form. Most 221g interviews happen in a week. So why the need to fill another form?
All he needs is the evidence to back up his new status. We are not fault-finding but just make sure you give the right information. You must not have answers to every question asked on this thread. Also direct people to where they can get the right information if you do not know what to say.

I won't advise you to fill another DS160. It will look as if you lied in the first one. How much did you state as your salary in th first DS160?
