According to Npower News, the National Association of Npower Beneficiaries through the Npower Publicity Secretary Adeshina A. Adex have disclosed that the Executive Committee Members did not collect money from anyone and Npower batch c beneficiaries should please desist from calling them names.
According to Npower News, the Npower Publicity Secretary said that although the meeting between the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation was indeed to be scheduled last week Wednesday but at the dime moment the national Association of Npower Beneficiaries received a call from the Npower program manager to hold on as they work on the Npower payment list. The National Association of Npower beneficiaries are maintaining constant communication with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, the reason why the meeting has not been rescheduled is due to the ongoing demonstrations, the Npower Publicity Secretary has assured Npower beneficiaries that as soon as the coast is clear then a meeting will be rescheduled with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation after 10th of August.
Furthermore, regarding Npower payment and when Npower payment will be made, the Npower Publicity Secretary has disclosed that the Minister for finance have lifted the suspension on conditional cash transfer and the suspension on Npower and other National Social Investment Programmes will be lifted very soon, and once the suspension is lifted on Npower then Npower payment will commence, although Npower payment is expected to start after the rescheduled meeting say by August, should this not happen then the National Association of Npower beneficiaries will use legal measures to get their outstanding Npower stipends.

Npower News: Npower EXCOS Plans To Embark On Legal Actions If Ministry Do Not Provide Positive Feedback

According to Npower News, the Executive Committee Members of Npower batch c beneficiaries are planning to embark on serious legal actions should the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation fail to provide positive feedback as regards Npower payment. "Preparations are on their Final stage as we plan to take the Federal Government to court if our scheduled dialogue with the Ministry does not yield any positive results within the month of August." said the Npower Publicity Secretary.
Beneficiaries of Npower batch c are being owed for 9 months while some Npower batch c beneficiaries are being owed for 12 months.
According to Npower News, beneficiaries of Npower batch c are awaiting feedback from the Ministry and should this feedback be negative, the beneficiaries of Npower batch c might resort to legal actions by August.
