I would like to know which documents or credentials are important enough to attach to a cv when applying for a job.

My doubts lies especially with indigene or state of origin form, birth cert and primary sch cert.

Nt inspiring bt commendable. Am serving in Enugu where d state govt pays 10k so I've also been saving my Federal allawee, its easier since am serving in a village i.e things are cheaper. I've a target of saving 200k too which I can use to start a biz pending when d good job will arrive. It just a matter of determination, its nt impossible

I'm sure most of us know that most firms now use the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to filter CVs. The way it works is that the ATS looks for certain keywords in your CV. If those keywords are found wanting, your CV is screened out!

That definitely is the REASON why so many of us have sent out CVs over a thousand times with little or NO interview invites. There are some online applications you can use to score and access your CV to know how your CV is rated. One of such is www.rezscore.com. Here, all you need is upload your CV and it scores your CV, which is usually between in percentage and between A and F.

My old CV was rated just about 50% initially. I however got the help of a friend who helped me re-write the CV, he re-formatted my CV and put the keywords that all ATS systems look out for. After uploading on Rezscore again, I scored a whooping 90%! and the grade A-

OK! I thought it was a fluke! I applied for 3 different jobs last week and I got an interview invite from 1 of them already! WHAO!

It is an excellence idea to add such experience to your CV. Some many employers are looking for self-starters with entrepreneur traits so that should give you an edge.

Believe me, such experience (if properly packaged) would lead to Interviewers as some Employers would just want to meet you out of curiosity. An Interview takes you a step closer to the job.

To the veterans in the house pls, is it ok to use a small biz one once had or did as an experience on a cv? For example, while in school, I sold recharge card, phone accessories and charge phones. Now that am about to start submitting cv, my friend is telling me to use that as a 3yrs experience. Is it acceptable?

This is really bothering me, Nigeria education system doesnt encourage early graduation yet a lot of employers will be requesting for a maximum age of 24 to qualify for applying for a vacancy.

Or is there any significant diff in productivity between someone of 24 and one in late 20s. Or is there a law that specify 24yrs? Pls enlighten me

Am definitely not gay because I've had girlfriends in the pas and am still attracted to ladies generally. But I dont know why, I just dont fall head over heels for ladies anymore.

My thoughts when I see a lady are usually toward analysing whether or not she is a wife material and immediately I decide she is not, I forget about her even if she's someone I see regularly.

1. You can predict the end from the beginning.

2. They are mostly a repetition of the same story (lacks concept), with just different actors and settings.

3. It has endless parts (I wonder why people still complain of Indian movies been too long) and most annoying, these parts have different names.

4. Lack of technological expertise, we still cant invest in movies despite having one of the largest film industry in the world.

5. They dont inspire you to take charge of your life. In most cases, the protagonist will suffer endlessly until God, police or super natural power comes to his/her aid. I believe this affect our mentality a lot in Nigeria, everyone is waiting for the likes of Olajumoke's miracle or Government to do everything instead of STANDING UP FOR OURSELVES.

Oh boy! See debate. After reading the whole pages, it seem i ended up more confused than i was b4. Anyway, i'll lean my weight in support of d policy as a temperal measure reason being that the economy (d masses) shuld nt be made to suffer for d pleasure of few. However, since those few are also Nigerians and are entitle to carry out their legitimate business, I hope a better solution will soon be proferred. Lastly, let encourage export and discourage import cos this whole drama boils down to 'buying what we cant afford'.

Get to Enugu first.... Drop at old park Iz d main park in Enugu Then enter Agwu motor.... Tell d driver NYSC camp.. Its easy as ABC Enjoy coal city

Ya. Dunno the best route bt if u enter Kaduna bus going to Enugu u will ve to stop at Enugu b4 going to Agwu. Try look at the map it will help you .

Which bus are u entering to Enugu with? Anyway, any bus u enter , once u get to dia park, ask d driver or dos selling tickets how to get a bus going to Awgu. U may likely see their buses in the popular Ogbete Main Market ( near Holy Ghost Catholic Cathedral). So when u get dia ask for bus going to Agwu, tell the driver to stop u at Agwu junction leading to NYSC camp. Then u enter bike to the camp from there. Depending on the bus, Enugu to Agwu(Nysc camp) is abt 50 mins or less. Dos coming from south south, Imo and Abia shd not bother entering to Enugu capital, de shd tell the driver to stop them at Agwu junction just immediately they Enugu state from Abia state. Agwu is pronounced as "Ogwu" for easy pronunciation for non-Igbos. I hope it helps. Goodluck. Back to my Cross-River thread.

food time is your break time. It is possible, I guess but you have to be somewhere during activities time and if the soldiers find out anywhere else or in mamma market when it is activity time, you will be punished.
