Romance / Re: Why Do Women Lose Their Shapes After Childbearing? by folabuntu: 6:54am On Jan 23, 2010
which one is "be supportive, marriage is for better for worse" bullshit?

what kinda crap is this u pple always spouting? "its called comfortable with who they are"? arrant nonsense!!

u had better be comfortable with the little or no attention you will get from me and i sure as hell will not turn my life into a painful endurance trek just because u lack discipline!!!! and i sure as hell will not be having sex or sleeping in the same room with such woman, i think i deserve to wake up to better sights than a human whale with flabs 1st thing in the morning! i cant even take u out!!!

i keep my shape and iv even cut down on my beer intake just to keep my shape and all that, if one woman thinks i will put up with such nonsense, she is joking!!

and i sure as hell aint gonna go jogging or wateva with u. if u cannot maintain discipline with ur physical structure, the marriage will either continue at a distance or u can have all the time in the world to ur self being obese.

we all had parents and if they could keep there shapes, then why cant we, mine were not obese and i wont marry a girl with obese parents, cos she will end up that way too!!!!! LOVE IS NOT BLIND!!, ITS REASONABLE!!!
indiscipline and indolence is not within reason!!!

@ skydancer wat ya mean porous? they was doing promo for u guys grin grin grin grin

they have plugged the ssl loophole, almost sha grin grin but really be not deceived, as long as u connecting thru their gateway, you are blockable AND ur traffic is visible!!! but mtn gats sell modems and get u pple hooked on the net, besides what better way to test a network upgrade than to load it?

mtn never needed apn, from the onset, except the time they had firewall compromises last year!! mumus were using ms enteprise on some gateways. no apn does not mean they not secure, besides its good for a user cos ur behind a web proxy not wap! thats the issue with zain and the foolish wap gateway and internet gateway! if ur using vista, and u connect wap gateway the mumu pc will even be showing local connectivity only. ur system services wont get online and u have to set proxy in ur browser.

not that we really care though grin grin grin grin as long as we sha get online!!!!
if u want porous, i give u etibaba!

Computers / Re: Ubuntu Linux by folabuntu: 4:50pm On Jan 19, 2010
@ mendax, well the grub entries you see on the grub splash are the same ones in the menu.lst

if u bother to check u will see them there. u can obviously reduce them by deleting one or two entries(as many as u want anyways) but i still will like to remind you that the risk of a regression is very real.

As iv said make a copy of the menu.lst and save elsewhere, then do whatever u want with the current one, hopefully u wont break the system (just joking grin grin grin grin) that way u can always replace it if u have issues.

NOTE: removing the entries will not remove the new kernels from the system, to do that you use synaptic.

as per the 10 secs counter, well at times u may want to do a memtest or recovery or boot into cmd prompt, that 10 secs window is ur grace to do that easily. it is also useful for dual booting as that is where u choose the os u want to boot.

but if u insist you dont need any of the above, in that same menu.lst there is a line i think the last or 2nd from last where you see the time out secs . it will be currently set to 10 secs, u can change the timing to 0 secs.

BUT I MUST CONFESS, U SEEM TO LIKE THE VERY DANGEROUS OPTIONS. for a fellow noob, i will advice that u do none of what u want to do. those little things are very important especially when you are stuck and dont know what to do. e.g when i started out with ubuntu, there was a day i did an update and found that after the restart, the system did not boot. after panic for like an hour and rushing to nl and nobody was online, i decided to risk one last thing before i formatted the pc which was select another kernel option( i felt there was nothing that could go wrong again more than presently) lo and behold that was what i should have done!!!! the system was ok.!!!

if i had removed the options with my limited knowledge, i would have lost the system and all that was on it!!!!! so think am well o, bigrovar does not live in your house to rescue you at short notice!!!!

for the 2gb partitions i do not understand, is it that they create new swap partitions? they should use the same one!!!! thats the only partition a linux install will create at that size. if so then u should have specified that they share a swap when installing!!!. next time when dual installing, u need to manually soecify partitions. Gparted will detect the previous partitions and u can specify that same swap for the other os. thats what i do anyway
Computers / Re: Strictly Internet Speed Screen Shots by folabuntu: 6:29pm On Jan 18, 2010
@ philey, no miracle will move ur speed up unless and until u get on the 3g bandwagon!

sorry but thats the simple truth
Computers / Re: Ubuntu Linux by folabuntu: 5:29pm On Jan 18, 2010
@ fasho, click on 4llerbuntu id and click on my last posts, i tried to do a comprehensive solution there but apparently the nl sentry has gone mad again. and iv lost posting privileges.

Computers / Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by folabuntu: 11:06pm On Jan 02, 2010
ok, shut down loop, u have something malicious doing that.

lets see, ok try doing the logon hack, though for the life of me i cant rmbr wat it was, someting like ctrl alt backspace 3 times or something like that. u know naw that trick we use to get into pple pc.

my windows intel is really beginning to leave me

if that doesnt logon, try one of those cd or flash based malware scanner thingy.

if that doesnt work or u cant do that, then u may have to go drastic, a livecd would have been lovely so u get to look at ur windows system files and delete rogues, alternatively put in ur os cd, start an install but instead of formatting, install in the same folder and choose the delete the old os files option. that way u get ur files intact in a folder and probably ur settings too if u know hw to replace them manually.

thats the issue with windows installs adequate recovery options are pretty limited and i dont know many pple with DOS skills.

Romance / Re: 45 Things A Girl Wants But Wont Ask For: by folabuntu: 1:25pm On Jan 02, 2010
@poster, so in short we should turn into woman wrapper, living EVERY MOMENT for what she likes, trying ALL THE TIME to satisfy and make her all we live for! hmmmn not a bad concept, just wonder how many relationships will actually work doing this!

in case u dont know, them babes actually like stimulation and all the my bf/husband did this and that drama! or else ud be very boring and they ouuta the door. how can you want to please woman all the time?

one thing is clear though, if u actually do half of ur list personally, u'd be a really unhappy sod with very unstable relationships. but am sure u dont even do 5 anyway.

u may wanna take a cue and try living for God a bit. can u sacrifice a lil for GOD? here u dey talk woman and all these joint PLC muguns dey hail u! birds of a feather!

Computers / Re: One Touch Connection(failed To Establish Network Connection) by folabuntu: 11:28am On Dec 31, 2009
I dont know about 3110 but many fones hav a setting somewhere 4 usb internet where u specify a internet profile for usb connections. U may try 2 look for that and set d network profile u want 2 use. Barring that then look at ur pc suite connection well, there is a setting that is wrong either apn or u did not specify d right modem
