Bigdreams: Folarin, congrats on your posting to Katsina. First and foremost, you have to report at the camp. Where are you located so that myself and probably others can help you finding your way to the camp? After camp, you will be posted to any of the local goverments in the state (37 or thereabout - I can't remember the exact figure now).

Meanwhile, while in camp, make sure you attend the lectures, though stressful, they will definitely help you a lot.

Pls is jamb admission letter a requirement for enterin camp. I've been hearing rumours dat its a requirement. I just need a confirmation. And can dey send someone back home for not having the letter.

saintalone: Guy, you are a graduate....try collect facts and seperate em from truths. You have to know what exactly you are paying 5k for...and who you are paying to!
If you gained admission via a programme like preDegree (or any other programme that doesnt give you a JAMB admission letter/ registration no upon admission), then you are supposed to pay about 5k to your students affairs for you to get a legit JAMB reg NO...which would be used for your mobilization! Without paying that money, no service for you o.
At least im talking from experience...that is the sole reason i missed batch B! My coursemates who came in thru JAMB or DE were all mobilized!

so confirm exactly what you are paying 5k for! Its possible you didnt hear well...maybe its ur school that was given an allocation of 800students (which also applies to every school)...

Pls can u explain more on the jamb admission letter and its importance in camp.

geewah: @ folarin I am sure you finished from LASU, if am right, you don't have to be bothered, if you recall, there was a period we were asked to submit MAIN REGISTRATION FORM, it was used to cross check for errors regarding BIODATA and other information, had it been yours had error as regard JAMB REG NO, your name would have come out with the error list. You can still visit the DSA for more clarification. Though I have mine. I was at the briefing too, didn't hear any thing of such

osigiepurr: From d information i just gathered few minutes ago, those without JAMB ADMISSION will not be allowed to enter NYSC camping ground to participate in d compulsory camp registration.
