Wilshere is not necessarily a holding midfielder. It was just the role he was given to play.
That prove his versatility.

If you watched him at the academy/reserve you will know he's an attacking guy. He even played on the wings

Am quite aware his very very versatile, at the moment his a holding midfielder because we had Cesc. Till his fully played as an attacking midfielder this new season , I withhold my judgement about his creativity.

He tore our midfield apart, he only misplaced one pass. We can't really compare him to Wilshere though, his an attacking midfielder while our Wilshere is a holding Midfielder.

Against Barcelona in Emirates, I cant recall Wilshere giving the ball away not even once. You know how Barca press press press, yet he stood his ground and was awesome. IMO he was the MOTM.

You follow Arsenal youth players better than any1. Every year AW promote a youth player to the 1st team, please give me your view on these players:

1. Coquelin (dunno the spelling)

2. Frimpong

I honestly wish Miguel is loaned out to an EPL team, i forsee him coming good in the future.

It's quite sad Arsenal is scraping for the 4th position, how standard has fallen. You look at Man Utd and you can't help but acknowledge SAF is doing an awesome job. The likes of Wellbeck, Cleverly, Smalling, Jones, Rafael n so on the future playing with so much swagga and confidence. If SAF can make a player like Gibson & Oshea look good, why can't AW do the same with the likes of Djourou n co.

Also Thiago, Goetze and Andreas Schurrle (Good finishers) have got good eye for goal, dont wont hesitate to shoot. They are very precise, direct and make good runs off the ball. All these are attributed to being very offensive.

Several times i have seen wilshere pass rather than shoot when in a good position, A good example is against Man city where he had a chance to shoot and instead he sqaured the ball.

Like i said this season we will see the emergence of Wilshere, I would have preferred AW buying a holding Midfielder so finally Wilshere can play the Cesc role.

Wilshere is very good on the ball, can pass however is shooting ability needs to be worked on.

i will agree wilshere was mostly on the leash last season, now that cesc and nasri have left, we shall see what wilshere is made of.
but from what i have seen so far, the others have bossed top games in a way i am yet to see wilshere. . . .so it's only natural for any observer to say wilshere is light years below them.

your candid opinion, do you think wilshere is better than thiago like ibime foolishly vomited?

Thiago is better than wilshere based on these points

1. Thiago is more offensive than Wilshere, he can comfortably play both xavi and Iniesta position. The only game i see him struggle was against Real madrid in Bernabeu, he kept on giving the ball away with little or no pressure, however it is only expected in a game of such tempo.

2. Wilshere is a holding midfileder for Arsenal, against bham in the carling cup final where he played the cesc role, he was so confused as he kept going back to his original position and abit too drift away from RVP.

I will give wilshere this season to make my judgement, i just think thiago is more definite about his position and holding a spot in a team like barcelona is no joke.

I believe this season we will see what Wilshere is capable of. Also Coogar, you have to understand majority of the players name you mentioned are more offensive, you possibly cant see Wilshere displacing Cesc or Nasri or Diaby or Rosicky. Wait till the end of this season to conclude on ur judgement though.
