First you need to have your mandatory 9 months maintenance fee which is £9,207 because Teesside is outside London, secondly are you on WAEC English scholarship; C4 and above eligible for £2,000 discount and C5 eligible for £1,500 discount. Teesside first year is £7,500 with a minimum deposit of £4,000 to be paid before your application. So therefore your balance of (£2,000 or £1,500)+£9,207 will give you your balance for POF

Project management oo... I feel it doesn't matter as the school fees is one of d cheapest coupled with the fact dat na to commot naija important pass for me for now..I feel I can take short courses with time to augment for the chartered status thing..just like when polytechnic and university graduate.. situation in becoming COREN registerd... . JAPA on my mind oo.. I no dey come back again again...besides I got other skills like pool construction/maintenance and plumbing... so me wan go hustle oo.. although I feel the msc will still come in handy sha... but for now I feel I should be worried about getting the visa... but lets talk more on whatsapp... mail me your number mercychukwunonsooluka@yahoo.com

Teesside University Applicants or those already confirmed, please how much did you show on POF on a 2 years course (Tuition at £7,500 Per Year)?

Did you have to show the entire £15,000 + Maintenance funds OR just the First Year Tuition + Maintenance funds to get the Visa & CAS ?

I wasn't able to get the early acceptance discount of £2000. I applied January for msc mental health nursing but didn't get interviewed till April 15th, which was the same deadline for the scholarship.

But I have friends who applied way earlier and got the discount.

The school is kinda slow right now eh, I submitted on the 3rd, can't count the number of mails I sent just so I could get my CAS.

I was finally able to get it on Monday this week.

That means it wrong to show only the balance of the first year +maintenance fees as pof for 2yrs program

Some schools (e.g Teesside University) spell it out as 2 Years so there’s First Year and Second Year Tuition.

I think you only have to show first year tuition balance + Maintenance after paying Deposit.

The experienced ones should comment please.

I want to say thank you to all the gurus in the house who out of their busy schedule made out time to answer our questions and a special thank you to @JUSTWISE who gave me hope by explaining the oanda conversion because I used £=# when I submitted my visa application and i thought is over for me because if done #=£ I would fall short on my POF...

It depends on your goal. If you have an M.sc Project Management, what industry do you intend to use it?

E.g. If you are in the IT industry for example, there is no point doing an Msc Project Management as you can do Prince2 Certification and Scrum certification to qualify.

Essentially, what I am saying is - Someone with an IT degree with Prince2/Scrum certification will mostly qualify for a job quicker than Someone who does not have an IT degree and has an Msc Project Management.

But that's my own opinion. Your circumstances determine what your goal should be.

I made enquiries for Project Management and they got back saying it’s not accredited towards a charter status.
I’m changing my mind about the school because I think course accreditation is important for Post Graduation Work..
