Thanks for the reply. Please do you have an Idea how long it takes before the pick up mail is sent out. Asking because its been showing ready for pickup since last week Wednesday and yet no mail

Am asking because its been saying ready for pickup when I track it on the embassy site but when I input his details in the DHL site, its saying his details are not correct.

Hi, my sister's daughter was also called for thumb printing. I think she said its any Thursday of the week. Still call to ask or check their website. All the best.

I qualified for IW but choose to go for interview since my son was to go for interview and I had to accompany him.

I applied in 2021, was hoping to go give birth to my 2nd child there but couldn't get an early date. Didn't have an appointment all through 2022. Was updating my profile in January and was about to go through the IW option but dates popped up and I saw 16th February and I selected since my son had to go for an interview. Got our passports back by 28th February.

Went for my visa interview on the 16th of February,
I gave birth in the US in 2019.
Went with my zero balance and all my receipts but they didn't ask for it.
Thry just asked if I was going to get any medical assistance from the government for me or my son and I answered no that we both are very healthy.
Then she said she was asking because there are new rules ro birth tourism. I told her I was done with child birth and am presently not pregnant
Visa was approved .

To answer question 2
You need to get a passport for him and then fill the DS 160 form. Pay his visa fee and go along with his documents.
I went for my interview on the 16th of February and I filled my form last year. When they approved my visa, I told them I was pregnant when I filled the form and I told them I have updatedit in my profile. They asked if I had his form and receiptfor his visa fee? I said yes and they took the documents to the back and told me to have a seat. After sometime, they called me and told me my son's visa was approvedtoo.
Please make sure you open a profile for him before you go because that is where am having issues now .
Can't seem to get my son's passport till now even with all my calls and forms I have filled because DHL sent it back to the embassy and I was told to create a profile which I have done.All the best in your interview

Pls help! I have an appointment scheduled for the 4th of April 2023 (next week Tuesday) with my family wife and a son. The question that I want to ask is that:
1. Do I and my family( wife and son) need to update my DS-160 form as it’s been like over 9 months since I applied for the USA visa interview?

2. During the course of the waiting on the appointment date, my wife gave birth to another child about 2 weeks ago. Do I need to get a passport for the child or he can be attached to the mom’s since he is just a baby.

Hello , been a silent reader for a long while now and I must say have gotten good information which was really helpful. So thank you all, really appreciate.
Now my reason for writing is this

My son's passport was returned to the embassy reason being he doesn't have a profile and DHL said they couldn't release the passport without a profile. Was called by one of the embassy staff and was told to create a profile for him which I have done. I have written to them through the various channels and still can't get the passport. Just want to know if there is any other way to go about it. Thanks

Hmmmmmmn, lots of issues and abuses which aint relevant at all. U all forget the most important thing which is..... If God says dis Job is urs, then No one can say other wise. Even those that use Man knw Man, it's because God has already said I'll use dis person to give u a job. So pls let's stop abusing each other and jst pray that ur break through is finally here.
