Business / Raise Quick Cash - Sell Off Products Fast On Nigerians Online Stores... by foneshop: 11:28pm On Aug 18, 2013
Almost everyone today wants to sell online. There are over 20 million Nigerians online. Selling products online has become both easier and more profitable. A lot of advertising these days are for products selling online. There are two ways to sell online. One is creating your own online store. The second is selling in already created online stores. The later may be more beneficial for you, with an advantage to sell your products in multiple online stores, save huge in advertising cost, access to huge online customer base, increase in volume sales and profitability, less worry about customer service, sleep your way through, while everything else is done for your customers by the managers of the online stores.

There are numerous online stores in Nigeria today, selling thousands of products online. And starting your own online store wouldn't be a bad idea, if you have all it takes to make it successful. Inasmuch as creating an online store isn't that difficult, making it successful is one thing any aspiring online store manager must think through before investing time and resources in creating an online store.

There are five main factors that controls online store. One is availability of stock, proper online presence, great customer service, efficient deliver service and easy payment methods. To stock large products online is a major advantage online stores has over brick and mortar. But having the resources to stock large inventory is another dream worth looking into. For a proper online presence, you must build a great website with better user experience. And great customer service cannot be overemphasised. Online customers can be too impatient most times. Your ability to minimise the problems that could create impatient customers and how to handle customer when they become impatient is the hallmark of great online customer service. People would buy online most times if the delivery is prompt. Delayed delivery can spoil the whole thing. Give customers best ways to make payment. Winning their trust is one way to ensure that customers goes through to payment.

However, selling in multiple online stores is the best way to go if you really want to make more money selling online. There are numerous online stores in Nigeria today that would sell your products if you have a good product to sell online. There are already different categories of selling online. The first is just put your products online and customers would buy when they need the products. The second is offer huge discount for the product and give customers time frame to buy or miss out on the deal offer. While the third is to offer your products on clearance sales.

Offering products on a deal is a very attractive way to get customers to buy on impulse. The rush to buy before the deals is over is the idea behind deal sites. Customers are offered the product on a good discount but have to buy within a specified period. But for the clearance sales, the products are usually sold below retail price or wholesale price as the case may be. This gives users advantage to buy products much cheaper. It's also ideal for bulk buyers. Merchants can sell off their products quickly on clearance sales, giving customers the feeling of buying at wholesale price. It also helps when you have very large stock to sell off. Most buyers here are also store retailers, who buy cheaper clearance stocks and sell in their stores.

There are so many online stores in Nigeria already. You can sell your products in most of these stores. While some online stores accepts any product, some stores only accept certain kind of products. However, you must read and understand each store merchant policy to know how to benefit more from each online store. Some stores also take a percentage of the sales, while some would add some mark up on the product price. So, knowing how each online store profit from your sales would help you cost your product rightly. For example, some online stores take 10% to 20% of the product amount. While some just add an amount to your suggested price. Know what the online store takes then work it out in your pricing to be profitable.

Here are a list of most profitable online stores in Nigeria:

However, their unique selling point is their wholesale store and their over-night delivery in Lagos. They offer products at the cheapest range of prices, from below N500 to as much as below N100,000 on clearance goods. They actually stands out of the pack in some unique ways. Also, they accept any merchant, irrespective of product categories and location of merchant. You can easily have your products selling on this online store in 48 hours.

Technology Market / Will Nigerians Recharge Their Phones Online? by foneshop: 1:16pm On Jun 25, 2012
I have been thinking...I don't know about you. I like the idea of being able to recharge my phone every where, all the time even when I'm online...
Imagine wanting to recharge your monthly Internet subscription, or even your blackberry plan or iPad Internet. First you go buying recharge cards from the vendor. After you start loading, then you send activation code to subscribe.

Imagine, if I can do all these with just one process online and off I go surfing. Time is money they say, but are we really saving time in Nigeria? With the advent of the Internet I want things to change. But before things can change, so many of us must want that change to inspire investors to pledge their money on our demand. D you think Nigerians would use online recharging sites like over 10 million do already in India?

What can we do to make this happen?

Business / Re: Chinedu David Is A Fraudster? What Do You Think About by foneshop: 4:45pm On Feb 27, 2010
Hey guys, I'm the Chinedu David you guys have been discussing. Atleast I'm still alive to answer everyone word to word. Normally, I do not like defence like this considering the said transaction between my reader and I. If I have any problems with my readers we have a platform to address issues like this.
Incase, someone may be reading this and wondering who the heck is this Chinedu David anyway, like some are already asking. I'm the publisher of GSMNEWS, i will leave my employers out of this as this is my personal problem. but i will only mention that i also work as a telecom editor with the foremost entreprenuer newspaper in this country, name with held due to the nature of the accussation here.
But I will like to start by answering, when does it become a crime to teach someone how to earn a living? Answer: only in Nigeria you help someone and you become a thief if the person couldnt help himself.
Secondly, I will ask your permission to publish the said article that the accuser read before joiniong the business and how i stand accused simply because I offered to help him sign up for the service when he didn't have a mastercard to signup himself. You see, helping nigerians is the worst decision one ends making.
I have been in this business for over 9 years and no one can say I took his money and not deliver what i promised.
Note that, the service I'm accused us for publicised for the readers to buy online from the American company on their own with the site published for all to see. My cross is that i help him buy with my card when he doesnt have any.
I will like to stop here for now. Next week, I will first publish the article that lead to this problem for you guy to read and judge for yourself.

I will like to end by saying thank you to my friend and brother who convinced me to respond. See you next week.
