Tripletwins222:
Welcome back dear! And as u've come back, may God wipe away your tears and grant u d grace to grab your bundles of joy soonest in Jesus name, amen.
To add to what the other mama said, you can try combo ie the combination of garlic, ginger, tumeric, cloves and booni. Peel and dice the d first three, wash d cloves and booni, put all in a big Eva bottle, fill it with water and allow to ferment for 3days. Take half glass cup first thing in d morning and last thing at night. Many people have testified to d efficacy of this combo after taking it for infections, cessation of periods and many other fertility issues. I pray it works for u and anyone who intends to try it.

It will surely end in praise.
Amen. Thanks a lot

Cuppymummy:
Best advice: see a Gynaecologist. With God and their treatment, your chances of conceiving twins might be increased.

Home remedies: Try a mixture of honey and ACV in hot water. Drink this every morning. Avoid cold water and drink warm water as much as you can.

Or zobo, honey and pineapples. No sugar.
Thanks sweets

Good day mummies. Trust we’re all doing great.

I’ve been in and out of this thread, but I’m back fully because I need all the support, advice and encouragement I can get from like minds.

I haven’t had my period for more than 2 months now, no I’m not pregnant. And it’s even more difficult ttcing with an almost absent menstrual cycle. It’s tiring.

I’m currently taking fertilaid, ovaboost, myo-inositol and DHEA. I used Evening Primrose oil but it was giving me contractions and false pregnancy symptoms so I stopped. I also got Letrozole but apparently can’t use it till I see AF. What more can I try?

Also I noticed there’s been an increase in multiple conceptions and births, not even with IVF. I’d be glad if mummies can suggest what I can do to increase my chance of having twins. I really need double for all my troubles cry

Please allow me to rant cos I’m very pissed right now.

So I registered with a gynecologist late January. Paid for card, consultation and all. The doctor took my history and set out a “plan”. We started with progesterone to induce my period after carrying out a PT test, then when it came i went back to take Premarin and primolut to regulate my cycle, all these medications and test I paid for of course and they were not cheap.

Everything was fine till today. I went back for a follow up since the doctor insisted I must see him today. He saw me and asked if I was taking my meds and I replied yes. He said ok that I will then have to come back at the beginning of the next cycle to take more meds. That’s all he wanted to see me for angry

I was about leaving when one of the nurses told me I have to pay consultation fee of N7500 shocked I asked her why I have to pay that much since it’s just a follow up, the doctor just wanted to know if I was taking my medications. There was not physical examination, no injections, nothing. The nurse said “that’s how we do it ooo”. I was pissed. My people I had to pay after much arguments with them ooo. I told the nurses they can’t be ripping people off because of TTC. I couldn’t even blame the nurses cos they seemed to understand my plight but couldn’t do anything about it.

This is the reason many TTC women would rather stay at home, pray and believe in God than go to hospitals. These doctors see TTC as an avenue to increase their pocket because they’re desperate and helpless.

I wrote down the name and dosage of the medication I’m supposed to take next cycle and I’m seriously contemplating if I should go back or not since I can find it in the pharmacies. I cannot come and kill myself.

End of rant. Make una no vex jare. Good afternoon.

My gynecologist told me something today and I’d like to share with you all.

He said external factors like fear, anxiety, worry, depression, Overthinking, pressure etc can actually prevent one from conceiving. Just do what you can and relax your mind. It might not be easy, but we have to try.

God bless and keep us all. Have a blessed night

yea,45% of women from early twenties menopausal hormones dorminants and d symtoms are hotflash, delayed period, pcos& unexplained fertility.try n do hormonal profile n midcycle scan to know what u are treating.Vitex is best over EPRO.but do some testing firstly.cheers.
Thanks a lot mama.

I’d been taking ovaboost and fertilaid which contains vitex, just added EPRO two days ago and frankly I’ve noticed little changes. Hopefully I’d get a lot better in coming days. My concern now is how to deal with the underlining issues causing these flashes so that I can be able to conceive soon. I’m certain that God will not fail me this year. He never has.

I started taking evening primrose yesterday to ease the hot flashes like one of our mamas suggested for me, couldn’t wait till my period as I don’t know when it’s coming.

Thanks to the mama that reached out to me yesterday. I pray the joy God has given you would last forever.

Good morning and have a blessed week ahead.

Good evening mummies and mummies to be, trust you’re all having a good weekend.

Please before I get a gynecologist I can start working with I need help through your opinions and contributions.

I’ve been having severe hot flashes. Doesn’t matter the weather condition. It comes on for about 2-3 minutes and stops. This happens at intervals throughout the day. I don’t sleep properly at night due to this. Even while I’m under the fan I sweat. It’s giving me reason for great concern.

I’d like to know if there are natural remedies I can try to manage or completely treat this. I read online that these symptoms are likened to women going through menopause, however I’m only 29 going on 30 and not anywhere close to menopause age. Please suggestions and contributions would be appreciated. Thanks as I await your responses

HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Foreignlady: 9:54pm On Jan 26, 2018
Good evening ladies. Been a silent follower for years. I have even fasted and prayed specifically for the ladies in this thread using their monikers. I get very excited whenever they eventually announce their BFPs. God is great. Now I’m officially TTCing, hope I’m welcome?

I’m taking the first step of registering with a gynecologist, so I’d like to ask if anyone can recommend a very good one around Ikeja axis or anywhere close on the mainland. Thanks
