Phones › Re: Top 5 Ways To Maintain Your Phone's Battery by ForeverNew(f): 3:02pm On Mar 15, 2017 |
In this Niaja, after doing all these you will still have low battery. mrprezident007: 1. Turn off your phone's back light. The back light is what makes the phone easier to read in bright light or outside. However, the light also uses battery power. If you can get by without it, your battery will last longer. If you have to use the back light, many phones will let you set the amount of time to leave the back light on. Shorten that amount of time. Usually, one or two seconds will be sufficient. Some phones have an ambient light sensor, which can turn off the back light in bright conditions and enable it in darker ones.
2. Turn it Off ! Only do this if it's going to be for several hours; turning a phone on/off actually uses a massive amount of power itself. This will probably be the most effective and simple way of conserving your battery’s power. Why? This will help conserve energy and also charge your phone. If you don't plan on answering the phone while you're sleeping or after business hours, just turn it off. Do the same if you are in an area with no reception (such as a subway or remote area, since constantly searching for service depletes the battery fairly quickly).
3. Do not follow the method of full charge and full discharge Avoid letting your cell phone's battery run all the way down. Unlike nickel-based batteries (such as the NiCd or NiMH rechargeable AA batteries seen in most supermarkets), lithium-based batteries are designed to be charged early and often, and letting them get too low can damage the battery. With lithium-based batteries, doing shallow discharges and frequent charging prolongs battery life. 4. Delete unnecessary Apps. Many of us have Applications on our phone that we don’t use and are just occupying space. Why have those Apps that run down your battery. It is safe and smarter to delete the apps and reinstall when you need them. Some Apps are not really important but you still have it on your phone!! So go through your phone, delete or disable running Apps and save your phone’s battery.
5. Engage Battery Saver Mode. The most recent flagship Android phones like Infinix latest devices include battery saver modes that can extend the life of your battery by automatically implementing many of the settings detailed above. This application is called the ultra-power saver which comes with the sleek XOS user interface.Think of it like life support for when your battery is in the ICU. |
Phones › Does Size Really Matter? by ForeverNew(op): 3:00pm On Mar 15, 2017 |
Size matters in almost everything we do, you cut your coat according to your size right? What of your shoes? Should that of phone be different? I don’t think so. Whenever I hear someone say a ‘big phone’ what comes to my mind is, screen size, battery and RAM/Storage. I was however impressed when I read about the Infinix Note 3 here and I was sold. The Infinix Note 3 have taught me the importance of using a big phone as it were. What makes the Infinix Note 3 different or what makes any big phone different? Firstly, the Infinix Note 3 solves one problem I have always faced with many smartphones—battery issue. The Infinix Note 3 comes packed with a 4500maH battery that gives me a 200mins talk time with just 5mins charge. It is the ultimate dream of any smartphone user, to have a phone that stops you from carrying charger with you every time. Secondly the 6” screen is a dream come true for gamers like me, it makes both game playing and movie watching experience an unforgettable one. Lastly, the Infinix Note 3 is everything to me, the 2/3GB RAM and the camera is something to be proud of. I have been enjoying the phone for almost two months now. I even heard that the prize have reduced, but am enjoying it and I have no single complain so far. So if you are a lady like me (or a guy) and you like it big, please go ahead and get the Infinix Note 3. That is my humble opinion about the Note 3. |

You made sense. I also believe that no matter the price, people that know its benefits, will buy it. adeboyewareez: We all should quit thinking this way. Have you taken your time to check the prices of fitness trackers and smart watches around? (devices such as Samsung Gear S2, Pebble Steel, Garmin, and other recognized ones) What price pattern would you see? If you ask me, Infinix actually put you and me in consideration when pegging the price at 25800 (a lot less than $100 going by the current selling price of dollars on the parallel market). They have tried in their way to give us more for less, literally. |

God bless you ohh!! Even if the xband is 1k it is not everybody that can afford it. I know the economy is harsh but forget it, people are still making money upandan asuustrike2009: They did a nice job by asking their marketers to indirectly advertised their products in most social forum. In doing so they will exaggerate product features to lure you to buy their product after which they come out with high price. They are aware of the economic situation before dishing out this price so it's left for Nigerians to either buy or leave it. I know very well that someone persons will still buy it even if it's N1m |
