Family / Re: Husband is disappointed that we are having another girl by fornnygee(m): 4:09am On Feb 20, 2020
Madam I will start by encouraging you.
Firstly, you are blessed for having a female child, in future you will know better.
Secondly, you are healthy and alive.
Finally, let me now advice you.
Please do not border yourself with the sex of the baby but be grateful to God for keeping you alive. Concentrate your energy on living healthy. Note that your husband requires education, so try and engage your family doctor to educate him, he might be ashamed of himself after the conversation with an O&G.

Family / Re: Should I Marry A Man With A Low Sperm Count? by fornnygee(m): 5:03am On Oct 06, 2016
My dear if you love him go ahead. Low sperm count is not really a challenge in recent times. The truth is that there are so many fertility procedures you can adopt if you have the fund though some are not 100%. My advice is that you consult fertility professionals (O&Gs) who are in a better position to help.
Career / Re: How Do I Handle Work Place Sexual Harassment. HELP! by fornnygee(m): 8:23am On Jul 02, 2016
Estherfaith:
I usually don't do this, but right now I am so angry I want to resign.

I started working here almost 2 years ago, and sincerely at a point, I wanted to resign because my boss was very difficult, I never did anything right in his sight.

Fast forward a year later,

due to the nature of my job, I spend most of my office hours with him, and now my very stupid boss is sexually harassing me, it started with just holding my hands but right now it has gotten to him trying to move his hands close to my private part! I am not exaggerating here!.. I have been acting really matured and trying to act professional but this afternoon was the height of it, he told me 'why are you acting like a virgin sef', I almost slapped him

Please I need advice on this, how do I handle work place harassment please, without it leading to court and all that. I have gotten angry, I have told him I am not comfortable with it, but he still continues, trying to push his luck the next time..

Anybody that have experienced such situation should let me know how they overcame it without destroying the business relationship you've worked so hard for.

Pardon my creation of a new Moniker, I have advertised a position here and I will not want the name of the company searched and displayed.

I am giving you an amature alternative sexual harassment resolution approach.
Firstly, officially request a 30 minutes personal discussion with him, suggest a convenient time and date by mail for future reference.
Secondly if he responds and accept your proposed time and date, constructively engage him on the sexual harassment incident, state your reservations, point out to him the implications of going further with his actions and your subsequent steps going forward.
Finally thank him for acting professionally and respecting your stand point.

Note: Don't create room for further discussions
Politics / Re: "We've Blown Two Oil Pipelines In Bayelsa" - Niger Delta Avengers by fornnygee(m): 7:41am On Jun 03, 2016
duni04:
I totally agree with the stance the Buhari led Federal government is taking against these criminals (militants). I remember arguing with a friend of mine way back in 2009 about the moral consequences of compensating people for their evil and nefarious activities which Jonathan and Yaradua's government did with the Amnesty program. We should call a criminal a criminal and treat them the way we treat criminals. If former President Yaradua had tackled those criminals head on as far back as 2009, we would probably be enjoying peace today. Instead he paid them money to buy more weapons, heck Tompolo was even buying gun boats 2 years ago! The immorality of that Amnesty program is coming back to haunt us. We should get rid of these extortionist and criminals once and for all. If the Idîots like let them blow up all the pipelines in the creeks. We'll see who suffers the consequences from the polluted farms and rivers. Nobody should think he can extort the government again by blowing up pipelines and demanding for money. That era is over!

My brother you might be right in your opinion but I doubt if calling them terrorist will change the fact. Unfortunately FG failed by using Cosmetic approach to attend to the issue the first time amnesty program was lunched. The FG intention was solely on keeping the money rolling from Crude Oil to meet up with their annual budget without looking at the fundamentals. Another opportunity was lost when our myopic national assembly failed to see the issue from aspect of making the host communities stakeholders in the business by allowing the 10% host communities trust fund enshrined in the failed PIB sail through. Truth be told the agitation will not stop. The New FG might finally toll the same cosmetic peace approach just to meet up with their budgetary plans but that will also fail. My advice is that the Nigerian state should look beyond the present situation, return the 10% for host communities new PIB and properly define what an oil host community means. The fact of the matter is that once you make the host communities stakeholders in the business, they will police and secure the Oil facilities, but when you continue to marginalise the people by including every part of the country as host community, then the real owners of the land where the oil is been extracted from will continue to agitate for equal share by force. Let's look beyond tribe and come to equity with clean hands.

Politics / Re: Kachikwu, State Governors Forced Buhari To Hike Fuel Price - FG Official by fornnygee(m): 3:02am On May 16, 2016
emmygzy:
nooo, if they remove subsidy it should be around 99 naira using the official exchange rate. The 145 is arrived at when 298 naira was used as the exchange rate by kachikwu. So for NNPC to use 298 naira is a fraud because they get their forex at 199 from CBN and NNPC too want to be selling at 145 too. Nigerians will be paying 46 naira extra to the federal government anytime we purchase Fuel @ 145 naira at NNPC filling station. So you see that it's fuel price hike to generate money for Federal government.
They used 298 bearing in mind they will be sourcing their FX from the parallel (black market). There is no way they will source and get FX from external at CBN rate which your official rate of 199. So what the government did was to strike a balance by using 298. So if a marketer gets his FX above 298, reality is that he might be selling higher than 145 or lower if he gets his FX at CBN official rate of 199.

Kineticist:
Some people are in the habit of spewing far fetched news. What has fuel hike got to do with State Govs..

Because that is where the increase in their shared revenue comes from. Oil price dropped below $40 per barrel compared to when it was above $120 a barrel, with new employments, total payout for employees, low revenue allocation and inflation. And because government has been paying substantial amount as subsidy, with the removal it frees up that huge amount of money paid out to marketers for the government. So you can see why the governors supported the increment and subsidy removal.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo: Buhari Not Hot In Economic Affairs by fornnygee(m): 4:23am On May 15, 2016
Going by OBJ's comment, I see a man that is gradually withdrawing his support for Buhari. Is even an insult to Nigerians that OBJ is coming back now to quote his book and remembering he quoted it somewhere in his so called book that Buhari is only capable in Military matters. OBJ should respect and stop making caricature himself as an a elder stateman.

‪#‎OCCUPYINGMINDS‬: ‪#‎NIGERDELTAMILITANTS‬...Every time a Crude Flow Station is Destroyed by Militants in the Niger Delta, The Environment is Damaged; Our Land is Polluted and Our Communities are subjected to more hardships...Let the Bombing Continue, who will lose?...The Government of PMB is dragging the Nigerian Economy away from Crude Oil; Lagos State has Joined the League of Oil Producing States and the Northern Part of Nigeria whose Reserves have been cynically suppressed over the years will begin production within the next months to two years. With time, We from the Niger Delta would have destroyed our Lands so much that future generation will curse us their Fathers and Mothers for killing their dreams. Let the Stupidity Continue my People...Don't stop the blowing up of pipelines.
Everyone of us thinks that a Blown Pipeline is an attack on PMB and His Government of Change...Insanity on display I must say. Kano and Lagos are Leading the way in Tomatoes Paste Production and Tomatoes don dey scarce shebi? The Northern Landmass alone is about 4 times the entire Landmass of the SS and the SE; Agriculture will revolutionize the North within the next decade...We from the Niger Delta will use our Oil to soak Garri and we think we are punishing Nigeria? Think Again, but Kontinu.
I have been reliably informed, that the More Pipeline we blow-up, the more the Resolve of this President to get the Nigerian Economy off oil...The More the Presidency blocks loopholes; The More the desire for alternative Revenue; The More the Nigerian People get pissed off by our Stupidity. The Future is Lost to the Greedy, Selfish Demons of Today. Blow Pipelines if you can, Nigeria is moving on. We have a President who is capable of making the hard decisions and willing to firmly sustain those hard choices. Blow Pipelines abeg. Let Nigeria Suffer and Let our land be wasted. Kontinu killing your own future by your own hands.
WEEP NOT FOR THE NIGER DELTA!!!
OUR ENEMIES ARE WITHIN!!!

Is even good we divisify our economy. Over dependent on oil is killing us the more.

Politics / Re: How APC Will Provide Steady Electricity - Osinbajo by fornnygee(m): 6:10am On Jan 19, 2015
I sincerely doubt if Osinbanjo has an in depth knowledge of Power generation, transmission, distribution, National grid and security philosophy. There is need for him to consult a subject matter expert to educate him more on this before making promises that he cannot fulfil. In this case I would not like to dwell much on his topic but let me point out one important thing about transmission. There is no Nation that will hand over her national grid transmission to a private investor for security reasons. The basic thing is that the government takes up a high equity stake, changes some of the policies that makes transmission unattractive to investors, increase our transmission network and redesign our transmission network to a ring network topography.

Career / Re: Oil Expatriates In Nigeria Are The Highest Paid In The World by fornnygee(m): 9:31pm On Mar 20, 2012
@ Zechy09 I dont think your completely correct, make your finding, Nigeria rating is much higher than any other country in the world presently, reason been that in Irag they have personal security at work sites and residence but in Nigeria there is no such thing in the oil fields. Secondly most vendor companies will not send their expert personel because of the security situation as adviced by their country embasies, so the higher pay is as a result of the security element.

Career / Re: I Need Your Advice by fornnygee(m): 1:16pm On Jun 01, 2009
There are two options to this:
1. If you have gotten the job, go on with your job & run a post HND from any of the University or
2. Runa PGD and your Masters.
For leaving the job for your academic program is good but not the best option.
Cheers and goodluck in your new career.
Romance / Re: The Changing Face Of Prostitution In Niaja, No More Shame. by fornnygee(m): 12:00pm On May 31, 2009
Gents, lets stop blaming the female forks, the men should keep their 3rd legs tight and stop encouraging prostitution.
Those of u that can only promote them only when they have sex with.
Those of u that can only issue out small contracts for sex.
Those of u that can only give a lift for sex.
Those of u that can employ only when u sleep with them.

Why won't u call them prostitute since they won't:
Join a small car for lift.
Since they won't work with small organisations to build their CV, they want it any how.
Since they won't follow the right contract process. Back door business.
Since they won't study in school and can not defend their easy earned qualification.

My people scene worst than what u posted as the picture are seeing all over the world, people go naked in beaches.
If you don't want to see! don't go.

Naija people lets change our attitude.
